Former Pro-Bowl linebacker Keith Mitchell got his chakra on at a yoga retreat in Hawaii this weekend ... where he explained how yoga saved his life after being paralyzed in the NFL.

Mitchell -- who played for the Saints, Texans and Jaguars -- was a speaker at the Wanderlust Festival in Hawaii ... where he explained how the practice helped him "reclaim his life."

As for the hit, Mitchell says he was making a routine tackle in 2003, when something went terribly wrong -- "I had no movement in my extremities and a spine that had been traumatized."

Now, Mitchell looks like he's doing pretty well ... at least judging by the pics.

James is a member of the "Dallas" squad in the E-League at Equinox gym in L.A. -- along with his famous teammates Brandon Routh, Josh Hutcherson, James Lafferty and Nick Swardson.

And that's not all ... some of the stars from other teams include Michael B. Jordan, Trey Songz and Kevin Hart.

As for Van Der Beek, he had his ups and downs in Week 1 ... every time he did something well, it seems like he followed up with a blunder.

In the end, James' team lost -- but keep your head up, there's always next week!

Olympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius arrived to court in South Africa for Day 1 of his murder trial Monday -- and it's already getting intense ... with a neighbor saying she heard "bloodcurdling screams" the night of the shooting.

Pistorius -- aka "Blade Runner" -- shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013 -- and he's been charged with premeditated murder. Oscar pleaded not guilty to the shooting -- and claims it was accidental because he thought Reeva was an intruder who got inside the house.

Today, Oscar's neighbor recounted what she remembered from that night -- "Just after 3, I woke up from a woman's terrible screams. Then I also heard a man screaming for help. Three times he yelled for help."

The neighbor said her husband immediately called authorities.

Former Tiger Woods mistress Joslyn James is such a terrible mother, she's made a government "Most Wanted" list for bailing on nearly $20k in back child support ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Years before she banged Tiger, Joslyn -- real name Veronica T. Siwik -- gave birth to a son (now 14) ... and since she was the breadwinner in the relationship, she was ordered to pay child support to the dad.

But instead of paying up, Joslyn (a professional porn star) did what she does best ... screwed everyone ... and according to the Washington State Division of Child Support, she owes $18,419.86 in unpaid support.

James even made the division's "Most Wanted" list ... meaning she's in the top 100 of the state's 370,000+ child support cases. What an accomplishment!!!

A spokesman for DCS tells us the list is "the worst of the worst. It signifies you've made no effort. If you're currently making any payments, you're not on the list."

We reached out to Joslyn for comment -- and a rep told us the state must be mistaken -- "It's unfounded."

Joslyn's rep adds, "She loves her child. She's a doting mother."

Sure she is.

The notes from Mickey Mantle's emotional farewell address -- scribbled from his deathbed in 1995 -- is about to hit the auction block ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The speech is legendary ... televised from the Baylor University Medical Center on July 12, 1995 ... when a dying Mantle begged his fans, "Please don't do drugs and alcohol. God only gave us one body."

Now, we're told Grey Flannel Auctions will be opening up bidding on the handwritten notes for the speech that Mick had earlier scribbled on the back of a PGA tour score card in his hospital room.

One of the most memorable lines from the speech -- "I didn't know how Lou Gehrig could here [sic] at home plate knowing he was going to die and say he was the luckiest man on the face of Earth [sic]. Now I think I know."

GFA tells us the item will hit the auction block at the end of April. There will not be a starting bid.

Mick died just 4 weeks after the speech after suffering from liver cancer, cirrhosis and hepatitis.

He was 63.

2:48 PM PT -- According to court records, Tarver's legal problems in Nevada stem from a beef with the Wynn Las Vegas ... and it appears Wynn is accusing Tarver of not paying back a gambling marker.

The records show that Wynn went after Tarver for "breach of contract" ... which happens to be the same accusation that Wynn made against "Girls Gone Wild" honcho Joe Francis for allegedly not paying back a $2 million gambling marker he took out in 2007.

Former boxing champ Antonio Tarver -- who also appeared in "Rocky Balboa" -- was arrested in Florida on Saturday stemming from a warrant out for his arrest in Nevada.

Law enforcement sources tell us the 45-year-old fighter was pulled over by the Florida Highway Patrol for a routine "tag violation" ... and during the stop, the trooper noticed the warrant.

According to reports, Tarver was wanted in Nevada for failing to appear in court. Apparently, Tarver was out on bail at the time he skipped court ... so the bench warrant was issued.

We're still working on finding out details from the original Nevada court case ... but it appears he's accused of writing bad checks.

Now, Tarver is locked up in FL -- but officials in Nevada are looking to extradite him back to the Silver State.

It was full KOBE-MANIA at an L.A. mall yesterday ... when the Black Mamba arrived to promote his new Nike Kobe 9 Elite shoe and the entire shopping center ERUPTED!!!!!!

Thousands of people packed the joint at the Westfield Culver City mall on Saturday to get a glimpse of Kobe ... and after giving him one hell of a welcoming cheer, they showered the guy in a thunderous "MVP" chant.

Even Kobe was impressed ... at one point saying, "This is a lot of love."

12:55 PM PT -- We spoke to Andre who tells us, "I found [Jennette's comments] funny. There's a lot of false info in there, but I'll be the mature person about the situation and let it die out."

Andre also posted a Vine video moments ago that seems to be a response to the story in which he says, "Sometimes you gotta live and learn by the mistakes you make. You gotta move on and keep pushing."

"iCarly" star Jennette McCurdy is kissing and telling in a big way about her short-lived "relationship" with NBA star Andre Drummond ... and according to Jennette, the kissing part SUCKED.

McCurdy appeared on Pete Holmes' podcast "You Made It Weird" and spilled her guts about her fling with 20-year-old Drummond.

Jennette didn't pull punches -- admitting she only heard about the guy after he repeatedly chose her as his "Woman Crush Wednesday" on Twitter -- and eventually agreed to talk to Drummond because he "seemed like a big deal."

Jennette says they had some early conversations that "gave [her] pause" but she decided to go out on some dates with him anyway.

McCurdy then describes their first kiss -- which went down after a laser tag date -- saying, "It just didn't go great ... no sparks. The mouths ... the shapes weren't right."

Still, they continued to hang out, McCurdy says ... and he was so into her, he bought her a necklace and got down on his knees during a dinner date and asked her to be his GF.

Even though she wasn't into it, she said yes ... only to break up with him on the phone a few days later.

You gotta listen to the whole podcast ... McCurdy seems to be laughing at Drummond the entire time -- painting him as this pathetic, immature guy who doesn't have a clue about how to court a woman.

But the relationship did start as a public event on social media ... so, fair for Jennette to go public with all the gory breakup details too?

The UFC is exploding in popularity ... but the sport of boxing is still more respected than MMA ... so says former boxing champ Sugar Shane Mosely.

The 42-year-old was leaving Supper Club in Hollywood Saturday night when he explained why he thinks the UFC is still playing catch up to boxing when it comes to respect.

Shane -- who's retired -- also says he still thinks he can fight with the best in the world ... but wants to leave the sport in younger hands ... like his 23-year-old son, who's training to be just like his old man.

Ex-WWE Superstar Goldberg has a new pet more terrifying than Stone Cold ... more destructive than Hulk Hogan.

Goatberg has issues. He's peed all over the floor and munched on ritz crackers ... without invitation. Short story ... the goat's a terror, but the Goldberg's couldn't be more in love.

Bill Goldberg tells TMZ ... his wife is a huge animal lover and when he found out her horse trainer was trying to unload the goat -- he took it off the guys hands.

Goldberg says they have plenty of room on their 30-acre property near San Diego ... but the goat is kind of a house pet.

Although the goat is free to chill he actually makes the floors warmer. Moments after this photo was snapped -- the goat went #1 on his wood floor.

Sydney Moss WENT OFF for Thomas More College in a 106-88 victory over Waynesburg in a DIII tournament in Kentucky on Friday night ... setting the DIII single-game scoring record.

Moss -- a 5'11" sophomore -- is sorta following her dad's college career path. She started at the University of Florida and then transferred to the smaller school.

Of course, Randy started at Florida State before transferring to Marshall ... where he emerged as one of the best wide receivers in the country.

NFL guru Jay Glazer -- the first guy to interview Richie Incognito about the Dolphins bullying scandal -- tells TMZ Sports ... Richie has some serious psychiatric issues and he's glad he's getting help.

Jay was leaving 1Oak nightclub in Hollywood Friday night, when our guy asked if Richie's decision to seek psychiatric help Thursday night was simply a P.R. move to win some sympathy ... but Jay shot that theory right down.

"Richie's got some issues there ... I'm glad he's getting help."
