Ex-WWE superstar Big Daddy V was on the road to getting healthy -- losing about 100 lbs. -- which is why his death by a heart attack this week shocked everyone who knew him ... according to his wife.

Cassandra Frazier tells TMZ ... V started getting healthy last year after doctors said his blood pressure was way too high, and it was affecting his diabetes.

She says the wrestler reacted by removing most salt and sugar from his diet ... losing most of the weight in the last 6 months -- and doctors said his blood pressure dropped to a healthy level.

Obviously, the weight loss came too late ... or it was too much too quickly.

B.D.V. died from a major heart attack Tuesday night.

Cassandra says, "I guess the Good Lord wanted him... I wanted him too, but He won."

9:27 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained the police report filed when the allegations were made in 2011.

According to the report, one of the women claims she fell asleep on Sharper's couch -- and woke up around 6am with either Darren or his brother "exposing his penis and attempting to bring it close to her face."

The woman says she told the man to leave her alone, but fell back asleep.

When she woke up again, she claims either Sharper or his brother was trying to lift her dress, but she slapped his hand away.

Eventually, the women got up to leave the condo and noticed that their panties were "missing." They later found the underwear laying on the floor by the couch.

Both women went to a nearby rape center, but doctors found no evidence of sexual battery.

Darren Sharper was investigated for an alleged sexual battery in 2011 -- but the case was closed due to lack of evidence ... cops say.

The alleged victims are two Georgia women who claim they were in Miami for spring break.

According to NBC Miami, the women told police they fell asleep at Sharper's condo -- and woke up to find either Sharper or his brother "behaving inappropriately and exposing himself."

The women were reportedly taken to a rape treatment center -- but the case was closed because officials found no evidence of sexual battery.

Sharper still faces allegations of raping 7 other women in 4 states ... including California. In fact, he's due in court TODAY to face charges he raped 2 women in Los Angeles.

Khloe Kardashian is pissed at some of her "f**king stupid" Twitter followers who have a hard time telling black people apart -- and it's all over a picture of Sugar Ray Leonard.

The drama began when KK posted a pic for "Throwback Thursday" today featuring Robert Kardashian, Bruce Jenner and Sugar Ray -- and said, "#TBT I love this picture! My daddy. My second dad. My God father."

But some people confused Sugar Ray for OJ Simpson -- a friend and client of her father's -- and clearly, Khloe no likey.

"For those of you that are that f**king stupid.... That's NOT OJ in my #TBT," Khloe tweeted ... "That's Sugar Ray Leonard. Some of you never fail to amaze me!"

On a related note ... Bruce sure looks different these day, huh?

NBA star Serge Ibaka sprung into HERO MODE last night when he saw some dude on a bike wipe out in a mall parking lot ... and according to the victim, Serge was nothing short of a "big black angel."

The guy who ate pavement is Grant -- who works in the Penn Square Mall in OKC. Grant tells TMZ Sports he was biking home when he lost control, flipped the bike and landed on his face ... chipping his tooth and opening a gash on his chin.

Grant says as soon as he went down, someone rushed over to see if he was OK ... someone who happened to be Oklahoma City Thunder big man Serge Ibaka.

Grant says he was disoriented after the crash ... but Serge helped him up, brought him inside the mall, got him water and helped clean off his wounds.

"He was so nice, really nice," Grant says ... "He really didn't need to take time to do that, but it's awesome that he did."

The Odom has landed.

Lamar Odom's Spanish basketball career is officially underway ... with L.O. arriving in Vitoria-Gastiez, Spain on Wednesday to join his new team -- and the media was ALL OVER THE GUY.

Odom signed a 2-month contract to play for the crappy Laboral Kutxa basketball team -- a team that's last in its division -- and many skeptics say they only signed Odom as a shameless P.R. move.

Just look at the photo ... dude's been swarmed by the media since he stepped off the plane.

Still, Odom sees the whole thing as an opportunity to prove he can still play -- and believes it could lead to a triumphant return to the NBA.

He's expected to hit the hardwood as early as Saturday. Stay tuned ...

We broke the story ... surveillance video of Ray Rice dragging his seemingly unconscious fiancee out of an elevator. They were both eventually arrested for assaulting each other -- but the big question is: what happened during the elevator ride?

Plus, there's mounting evidence Johnny Manziel is making one HUGE mistake ... involving one particular chick. Is Johnny in danger of getting trapped?

And video of Bill Murray dissing a panhandler! He stuck to his principles, and turned down the dude ... all because he backs the wrong team. Cool move by Bill? We kinda get it.

Surveillance video has surfaced in the Darren Sharper rape investigation that could blow a huge hole in the case for Arizona prosecutors -- and it's all because of what the footage DOESN'T show ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to the police report ... Sharper's accusers claim they partied with the NFL star at a bar called The Mint for roughly 10 to 15 minutes in the hours before he allegedly drugged and raped the 2 women.

Problem is, multiple sources tell TMZ Sports ... Sharper is nowhere to be seen in security footage taken from The Mint on the night of the alleged attacks.

In addition ... multiple staff members also told cops they never saw Sharper inside their bar that night.

Clearly, this presents a big problem for prosecutors because it could undermine the accusers' credibility.

For his part, Sharper denies any wrongdoing ... not just in AZ, but in all 4 states where he's been accused of raping women.

Ray Rice has been scratched from a charity event to benefit abused animals ... after organizers decided the circumstances surrounding Ray's domestic violence arrest would be too big of a distraction.

Rice had been scheduled to appear at a kickoff party for the Maryland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' kickoff party on Friday ... but he's since been replaced by Baltimore Ravens teammate Haloti Ngata.

A rep for the MDSPCA told the Baltimore Sun the decision was mutual between the org. and Rice because "they didn't want to take the focus off the animals and the cause."

Of course, Ray's been the center of a media tidal wave after TMZ Sports posted footage showing the running back dragging his seemingly unconscious fiancee out of an elevator at an Atlantic City casino following an alleged domestic incident early Saturday morning.

A woman who was injured in a nasty 2013 Nationwide crash at Daytona is trying to hammer out a settlement with NASCAR ... claiming her body and her career were wrecked as a result of the freak accident.

The crash occurred in February 2013 -- when Kyle Larson's #32 car was smashed into a wall and pieces of the vehicle went rocketing into the stands, injuring several spectators including Whitney Turner.

The race went on ... but Whitney's attorney Matt Morgan tells TMZ Sports her life has been a disaster ever since.

"[She's] been living on her back since the date of the Nationwide crash. She has had multiple surgical procedures performed to repair her severed Achilles' tendon and internally deranged knee."

Morgan continues, "Whitney has lost her job as a marketing specialist and is struggling to support her young daughter."

As a result, Whitney has threatened to sue the International Speedway Corporation and NASCAR claiming they're to blame for her condition.

But before she files the suit, Whitney's lawyer says the parties will gather 'round a negotiating table to try and work out a deal to "amicably resolve their claims."

Scott Schwartz -- who played the kid who got his tongue frozen stuck to a pole in "A Christmas Story" -- hit an UNBELIEVABLE half-court shot at a Denver Nuggets game ... and all he got was a lousy t-shirt.

Schwartz -- who also starred as the spoiled brat in the Richard Prior classic "The Toy" -- was brought on to the court Tuesday as a celebrity guest to goof around with the Nuggets mascot during a break in the action.

Things started off with the mascot sinking a crazy over the back half-court shot ... and then he handed the rock to Schwartz -- who NAILED a Kareem-style hook shot!!

Unfortunately, the shot wasn't a part of a contest ... so he didn't win anything (though Schwartz says the Nuggets were nice enough to give him a t-shirt and a cranberry juice).

Scott tells TMZ Sports ... there was NO WAY he thought he'd sink the shot on the first try -- but says, "I was always an athlete."

2:01 PM PT -- According to a court summons issued in New Jersey, Rice is accused of knocking Palmer out cold on the night of the attack by "striking her with his hand" inside the casino.

TMZ Sports has obtained footage of Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice dragging his fiancee (who appears to be out cold) out of an elevator in an Atlantic City casino ... moments after cops say they attacked each other on the property.

The footage was shot on February 15th ... right before Rice and his fiancee Janay Palmer were both arrested for assault at the Revel Casino. Cops say they have video which proved both parties attacked each other.

But before the arrest, Ray can be seen trying to lift and move a seemingly unconscious Palmer out of a casino elevator.

While Palmer is sprawled out on the ground, a man in a suit -- who appears to be talking into a security microphone -- approaches the situation and confronts Rice. It's unclear if the man is security, but it sure seems that way.

Moments later, as Palmer seems to regain consciousness, Rice walks away.

Both Rice and Palmer were later arrested and taken to a nearby police station. They've since been released.

Ray's attorney Michael Diamondstein tells us ... he has not seen the video but is adamant, "Neither Ray nor myself will try this case in the media."

He adds, "However, the video that's being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired."

"We'll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you'll have a better understanding of what happened and we ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out."

NHL living god Jeremy Roenick is becoming one helluva slasher in his post-hockey career -- 'cause he just knocked $3 MILLION off the price of his INSANE Arizona mega-compound.

The future Hall-of-Famer is desperate to sell his 10,000 square foot palace in Scottsdale ... that comes complete with its own BASEBALL FIELD and GOLF COURSE.

Roenick originally put the place on the market in 2012 for $11.7 million, according to our friends at Realtor.com ... but didn't get the kind of bites he was hoping for.

So, Jer lowered the price to $8.5 million, hoping a $3 million discount will finally bring in the offers.

The place is absolutely sick ... with a man cave, poker room and a car-collectors garage.

Lamar Odom doesn't just think he can save his basketball career in Spain ... he also thinks he can save his marriage ... and to prove it, he rocked his wedding ring on his way out of the country.

Odom was all smiles as he rolled through LAX on Tuesday ... right before he boarded his plane to Espana, where he'll join a Spanish pro basketball team (Laboral Kutxa Vitoria).

But it was clear he wanted to make a statement about the state of his marriage to Khloe Kardashian -- by wearing the ring on his finger.

As we previously reported, Khloe already filed for divorce ... and wants out of the marriage.

Clearly, Odom is an optimist these days.

Bill Murray -- die-hard U of Illinois fan -- is still super bitter about his team's loss to UNC in the 2005 NCAA Men's basketball championship ... and the proof is in this HILARIOUS clip.

Here's the situation ... Murray was in D.C. when he was approached by a pan-handler who flashed his United State's Veteran card ... which shows that he's from North Carolina.

When Bill saw the "N.C." on the card -- he tossed it back in the guy's face and went on a rant about how the Fighting Illini got screwed in the big game that year. It's AWESOME.

Don't worry, after making his case ... Bill gave the guy $10.
