James Worthy Bynum Could Be a Laker Again ... If He Grows Up
NBA legend James Worthy says if Andrew Bynum ever wants to don the purple and gold again (or any team's colors for that matter) ... he's gonna have to stop acting like a 7 ft. tall baby.
Big Game James was leaving Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills ... when we asked him what he thinks the future holds for the unemployed center -- who was cut by the Cavs this week.
James says it's possible Bynum gets signed somewhere -- maybe even back with the Lake Show -- but he admits AB "hasn't really shown a lot of progress" and doesn't seem to have his head in the game anymore.
We're guessing Jason Williams would approve of this message.

MLB to A-Rod We'll Lower Your Suspension, But ... Take a Year Off
Alex Rodriguez got his 211 game suspension reduced -- but Major League Baseball still slapped him with a full year out of the game ... and the now the Yankees slugger is vowing to fight the ruling in Federal Court.
A-Rod had been loudly and angrily fighting MLB in arbitration hearings to get a reduction of the suspension over his alleged connection to a steroids clinic in Miami.
MLB just announced it's cutting his punishment to 162 games ... which will cost A-Rod the entire 2014 season, and at least $25 million!
Rodriguez wanted the suspension lifted completely ... because he says he's never failed a test for performance enhancing drugs.
A-Rod says MLB has a severe lack of "credible evidence" ... and still believes a Federal Judge will see it his way, and "overturn the suspension."
Stay tuned ...

Tom Glavine My Left Hand Saved Me From Being an NHL Superstar
Tom Glavine tells TMZ Sports he was thiiiis close to playing in the NHL back when he was drafted by the Kings in 1984, but decided to commit to hardball instead thanks to one awesome physical abnormality.
The 2x Cy Young winner -- who was considered one of the top hockey prospects in the country back in the day -- was actually drafted WAYYY ahead of Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille.
But outside LAX, the soon-to-be MLB Hall of Famer told us he realized he had a much bigger advantage on land because his left hand was more valuable on the pitcher's mound.
Tom says he doesn't regret his decision -- duh -- but admits he missed competing on ice.
Still, Tom tells us he enjoys rubbing his NHL draft superiority in Hull and Robitaille's faces ... but they made it to their Hall of Fame first ... so, who's laughing now?

Hilary Duff & NHL Hubby SEPARATED And Clearly Divorcing
Hilary Duff and ex-NHL star Mike Comrie have just announced they've separated ... and it's pretty obvious divorce is just a matter of time.
The couple says they "have mutually decided to an amicable separation" and will "remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives."
26-year-old Duff and 33-year-old Comrie were married in Aug. 2010 in Santa Barbara ... and Hilary gave birth to a baby boy, Luca, March 20, 2012.
Hilary's mom, Susan Duff, tells TMZ, the couple has already decided on joint custody of Luca. Susan says she loves Mike but sees the breakup this way, "They're better friends than a married couple."
A rep for the couple says they are dedicated to parenting their son together.
Hilary just tweeted saying, "Mike and I are sitting here, we are so appreciative for all of your kindness & well wishes."
She continued, "Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together."
Hilary and Mike were most recently spotted together on New Year's Eve.
Marcus Allen I'M A DADDY 53-Year-Old's GF Gives Birth to Baby Boy
Marcus Allen's still got it ... 'cause the 53-year-old NFL legend just became a daddy, TMZ Sports has learned.
We know ... Allen's girlfriend Lauren Hunter gave birth to Marcus' son, Drake Connor Allen, on January 5th.
Sources close to the couple tell us ... the two met several years ago on MySpace (back when MySpace was a thing) and they hit it off.
We're told Lauren has two children from a previous marriage -- and it appears the child is Marcus' first.
FYI -- Lauren is a fitness model ... and she's SMOKIN' HOT.
Nice work, Mr. Allen.
Dennis Rodman I Didn't Take a CENT From North Korea
Dennis Rodman is NOT on Kim Jong-Un's payroll, despite allegations from NBA Commish David Stern ... so says Dennis Rodman.
TMZ Sports spoke with Rodman's rep who tells us, "Dennis did not receive, nor has he ever received, any compensation from the North Korean government."
Of course, the statement is a direct response to Stern, who told CNN that Dennis only organized the basketball trip to Pyongyang because he was "blinded by a flash of North Korean money."
But Rodman's rep insists the bills were all covered by an Irish gambling company, Paddy Power, which withdrew its sponsorship from a "branding perspective but still honored all of their financial obligations to make the basketball diplomacy event happen."
We're told Rodman is still adamant that his trip was never supposed to be political, but was only concocted as an effort to "make people in North Korea and around the world happy and all get along."
Charles Barkley I WAS WRONG Black People Should Play Beer Pong!
Martin Luther King Jr. would be proud ... because Charles Barkley finally cast aside his prejudice against beer pong and decided it's OK for black people to toss a little white ball into Solo cups.
We broke the story ... Sir Charles came out strong about African American people competing in the drinking game after seeing our video of his buddy Michael Jordan playing in Florida.
"Black people don't play beer pong," Barkley said at the time.
But yesterday, Barkley pulled a total 180 when he appeared on the set at HLN and was challenged to a game by one of the female anchors.
After the anchor made her first shot and forced Charles to to drink, he said ... "I wanna lose this game apparently!! Why would you wanna make it? I want YOU to win!"
Another anchor quips, "She's trying to get you drunk." Charles responds, "I can live with that."
He finally admitted, "This is not a bad game, by the way ... [but] I don't understand why you gotta go through all this hard work just to drink beer."
[H/T to our friends at The Big Lead for finding the clip]
Terrell Owens I'M GETTING MARRIED ... to a Postal Worker
Terrell Owens is finally gonna get his ring ... 'cause the former NFL star is GETTING MARRIED ... TMZ Sports has learned.
We know ... the 40-year-old wide receiver has obtained a marriage license in L.A. which shows he's planning to get hitched to Rachel Snider, a 33-year-old postal worker from Texas.
FYI -- Snider is NOT one of Terrell's FOUR baby mamas. As far as we know, they have no children together.
It's unclear how the two met ... but here's a shocker, it WASN'T on T.O.'s old VH1 reality show, which documented his (unsuccessful) search for the perfect mate.
As for the wedding, the marriage license is only good until April 8 ... so T.O. and Rachel have to swap "I dos" sometime before then, or else they'll have to apply for another license.
We're told the couple has been pretty hush hush about their engagement -- because, unlike Terrell, Rachel isn't obsessed with the spotlight.
Congrats!!

Fun Fact -- Martin hit a 72-yard punt this season ... and says he once kicked a 100-yarder in practice.
