Hulk Hogan I'm Developing a Movie About My Life

Published | Updated

Hulk Hogan tells TMZ ... a movie about his shirt-ripping, leg-dropping, arm-flexing life is officially in the works -- and he's already got someone in mind to play the lead role.

We sorta stumbled into the movie bombshell ... after jokingly asking Hulk who he would like to see don the yellow bandana if a biopic is ever made about him.

"It's being worked on right now, brotha," Hulk said ... before revealing who he believes would be the "perfect" person to fill his boots.

Hulk's life story is definitely interesting -- from bodybuilder to wrestling champ to movie star to reality TV star ... and don't forget all of the family drama. It's pretty riveting stuff ...

After the encounter at LaGuardia, we reached out to Hulk to find out more about the movie -- but so far, no word back.

MLB All-Star Weekend Workers Sue Pay Us In Cash, Not Tchotchkes

Published | Updated

Major League Baseball put roughly 2,000 people to work during All-Star weekend in NYC last month and illegally paid them with giveaway items like shirts and hats INSTEAD of cash, so says a new lawsuit.

One of the "volunteers" who worked the event has filed the suit against MLB -- claiming the organization broke the law by failing to pay the "volunteers" actual wages for doing real jobs.

In the suit, John Chen says he worked 17 hours in 4 days at the All-Star Weekend festival -- doing everything from stamping wrists to stuffing flyers into bags and even filing paperwork ... all assignments that would otherwise have to be done by paid employees.

Chen says at the end of the event, he was compensated with a shirt, cap, cinch drawstring backpack, free admission to the FanFest for himself and a guest, a water bottle and a baseball.

Basically, Chen believes the concept of a "volunteer" workforce violates federal and state labor laws -- and the "volunteers" should be paid at least minimum wage ... which, in NY, is $7.25 per hour.

Furthermore, Chen points out that MLB made a killing during the event -- charging $35 per adult ticket, $5 for a bag of chips and $7.50 for lemonade.

Chen is seeking a judgement forcing MLB to end the volunteer work program ASAP -- and pay volunteers who worked at FanFest events dating back to the 2007 All-Star Weekend.

Chen released a statement saying, "I very much enjoyed working at FanFest, but the minimum wage laws are important. People who cannot afford to work for free should be able to have the same experience I had."

A rep for MLB tells us, “We don’t comment on pending litigations."

Michael Phelps 'Everyone Pees In the Pool'

Published | Updated

Michael Phelps is a pool pee-er ... but don't worry, the world's greatest athlete insists there's NOTHING wrong with draining your bladder during a swim.

The Olympic legend was leaving Mastros in Beverly Hills last night when we asked if nature ever called during one of his races ... and the guy couldn't have been more honest.

But when we asked about rumors that he's coming out of retirement to swim at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Mr. Phelps was much less forthcoming.

There's some information you just can't afford to leak ...

'The League' Star I'd Kill For An Aaron Hernandez Cameo

Published | Updated

Are you an ex-NFL player? Do you also like to murder people (allegedly)? Then you'd make the PERFECT guest star on "The League" ... so says Paul Scheer, who plays Andre on the show.

It's sorta become a badge of honor for NFL stars (past and present) to score a cameo on the FX series ... just ask Terrell Suggs, Adrian Peterson, Chad Johnson, Deion Sanders, Maurice Jones-Drew and J.J. Watt.

Scheer says the next guy he wants to bring on board is Aaron Hernandez -- but not to act -- he's got a job in mind that requires AH's unique alleged skill set.

Check out the clip.

Anastasia Ashley Pre-Surf Warm-Up TWERK

Published | Updated

LeBron James has his chalk toss ... Metallica's got their band huddle ... we're pretty sure Justin Bieber kisses a photo of himself -- but the greatest pre-show ritual of all time definitely belongs to pro surfer babe Anastasia Ashley.

The video was shot over the weekend at the Supergirl Pro in Oceanside, CA -- and while Ashley didn't even come close to winning the competition, she definitely won our hearts.

Sorry, Miley Cyrus. You've been replaced. Thanks to Vidhuntr for the clip.

Shaquille O'Neal Yeah, I Got That Amber Alert

Published | Updated

If you live in California, we all did the same thing last night -- we wondered, 'Who the hell sent me this Amber Alert on my cell phone ... and how can I turn it off?"

It happened at 10:54 pm -- cell phones across the state started buzzing, sending people (especially sleeping people) scrambling to find out which app was responsible for the late night push notification.

Turns out, there's an Amber Alert setting in the "notification" section of your iPhone -- that most people didn't know about until last night ... when everyone from Shaquille O'Neal to Mike Epps to our camera guys got the message.

Of course, the message was sent with good intentions -- to help authorities hunt down a suspect who allegedly abducted two children in San Diego and is possibly trying to sneak them into Texas -- but still, we couldn't shut it off fast enough.

So, we gotta ask -- when your phone went off last night ...

NY Jets Star Joe McKnight Arrested In Jersey

Published | Updated

More trouble for the New York Jets -- ANOTHER running back was arrested. This time, the perp is Joe McKnight who was busted in Jersey on outstanding warrants during a routine traffic stop.

McKnight -- who was drafted out of USC in 2010 -- was initially pulled over in Hanover Township on July 30 around 11am after cops noticed his 2010 Mercedes speeding and changing lanes without signaling.

But during the stop, the officer ran Joe's plates -- and noticed outstanding warrants for his arrest for (1) failing to pay a $200 fine because he didn't have proof of insurance during a previous incident and (2) failing to pay a $120 fine for a prior routine traffic violation.

According to the New York Post, 25-year-old McKnight was cuffed and hauled to a nearby station where he was booked and released after posting the $320 bail.

It hasn't been a great off-season for Jets running backs -- back in May, McKnight's teammate Mike Goodson was popped on Route 80 after cops say he was in possession of drugs and guns. He pled not guilty to those charges.

Jerry Sandusky Letters from Prison 'I'm Trying to Get Better'

Published | Updated

Convicted child rapist Jerry Sandusky says he's having a "very challenging" time behind bars but insists he's "trying to get better" ... this according to prison letters obtained by TMZ.

Just like Aaron Hernandez, Sandusky has been communicating with multiple pen pals he's made from inside his Pennsylvania prison cell over the past 9 months ... and it's clear, the 69-year-old is struggling.

"I've been quite confined, always searching for purpose," Sandusky writes ... "It is very challenging."

In the letters, -- one sent in May, another in June -- Sandusky is still playing the victim ... calling his conviction a grave injustice. He vows to continue battling the case "until the last whistle."

Sandusky also touched on his "personal battles" -- and while there's no specific reference to pedophilia -- Jerry ensures his pen pal, "I'm trying to get better."

Sandusky is currently serving a 30-60 year prison sentence for raping between 10 to 15 young boys ... and will most likely die behind bars.

Warren Sapp DANCE ERUPTION at NFL Hall of Fame Party

Published | Updated

Warren Sapp isn't just a QB Killa ... he's a DANCE FLOOR KILLA ... and he proved it this weekend when he went all H.A.M at his NFL Hall of Fame induction party.

Sapp -- sporting his newly acquired HOF jacket -- was the guest of honor at the special Warren Sapp party tent in Canton, Ohio ... where stars like Dan Marino, Lawrence Taylor, Marshall Faulk and Deion Sanders came by to party with the big man.

But during the party, Sapp -- clearly feeling the adrenaline -- grabbed the mic and told the crowd, "One time like my dog Ray Lewis used to do."

Then he straight BROKE. IT. DOWN.

Ya gotta watch the clip. Dude's got moves.

A-Rod Faces Cameras No Confession No Apologies

Published | Updated

Alex Rodriguez's new hip must be fully healed -- because he did some serious bobbing and weaving from reporters' questions about the 211 game suspension MLB slapped him with for alleged steroid use.

In a strange pre-game news conference, A-Rod disappointed again by refusing to directly respond to questions about the suspension (which he plans to appeal). The closest he came to discussing it was when he said, "I'm sure there's been mistakes along the way. I'm a human being."

The odd part -- Rodriguez took time to especially thank "Hispanics" for their support. It kinda seemed like he was, y'know ... playing the card.

A-Rod will be back on the field when the New York Yankees play the Chicago White Sox tonight -- and repeatedly said he was only focused on the game.

"I feel like I was 18-years-old back in Fenway in 1994 when I faced the Red Sox for the first time."

Ahh yes, back when he was a rookie ... and still clean. Maybe.

Bowler's Perfect 300 Game RUINED In Freak Lane Accident

Published | Updated

Imagine being thiiiiiis close to bowling a perfect 300 game ... only to watch that stupid lane rack thingy come down and BLOCK YOUR BALL on the VERY LAST roll.

That's what happened to Troy Walker, who was killin' it at the 2013 Luci Bonneau Doubles Tournament in Houston this weekend ... and the heart-breaking moment was all caught on tape.

Ya gotta watch the footage ... captured by InsideBowling.com ... and then listen to Walker's explanation.

According to Walker, the whole thing may have been his fault because he hit a reset button on the lane right before his throw -- though Walker says he THOUGHT he was resetting the lane next to his.

Either way, Troy got a do-over on the final shot ... but blew it.

A wise bowling enthusiast probably said it best -- "Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar ... well, he eats you."

Soccer Legend Gary Lineker Ronaldo Is GREATER Than Pele Ever Was

Published | Updated

Gary Lineker is a soccer legend -- he's even been enshrined in England's Football Hall of Fame -- which is why it's a little shocking that someone with his experience and soccer knowledge believes Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Pele.

Lineker -- who's now a popular soccer analyst -- was leaving STK this weekend when we asked how Ronaldo's career compares to Pele's.

"Ronaldo is Ronaldo," Lineker told us ... "He's better than Pele."

Just a quick stat comparison:

Pele -- 614 club goals in 18 years (and that's not even counting his time on the NY Cosmos).
Ronaldo -- 233 club goals in 12 years

Pele -- 3 World Cup titles
Ronaldo -- none.

There's no doubting Ronaldo's an incredible talent. But better than Pele? Really?

Aaron Hernandez Jail Letter #2 I'm Going Nuts Without Internet LOL

Published | Updated

Aaron Hernandez is jonesin' for the Internet ... according to a new letter he wrote to a fan.

TMZ has obtained a second letter Hernandez recently wrote behind bars, thanking a fan for a Facebook support page she started ... a page he can't read because jail is an Internet-free zone.

He wrote, "Thanks for the site and sry [sic] I can't check site [sic] there is no internet in jail lol."

Correct ... Hernandez wrote out the word "lol" in pen.

Also, FYI, Hernandez is now aware that his jail letters are making headlines. We spoke to the sheriff at the jail who tells us, Hernandez has been warned to be careful with his letters because TMZ keeps publishing them.

Oops.

Michael Jordan Alleged Baby Mama FINED She's a Fame Whore

Published | Updated

Michael Jordan's alleged baby mama LIED about the NBA star fathering her child in a desperate attempt to cash in on his fame ... and now there are consequences.

TMZ broke the story ... Pamela Smith filed a paternity suit against Jordan, claiming he was the father of her 17-year-old kid. She demanded a DNA test, full custody and child support. Jordan called B.S. -- and even asked the court to bitch slap Smith for wasting his time.

On July 19th, Jordan got his wish when a judge hammered Pamela ... and here's why -- The judge says Pamela FAILED to mention that paternity was established way back in 2003 -- and M.J.'s NOT the daddy.

The judge called Pamela's bogus claim one big publicity stunt, pointing out she hired a publicist before even getting a lawyer ... and then dragged Michael through the mud.

The judge ordered Pamela to pay Jordan's legal bills -- $9,704.13. Actually, it sounds like she got off cheap.
