Usain Bolt just got his Jamaican butt kicked in a 100m race in Rome ... but it's only because he probably wasn't trying.

Bolt was competing in something called the Rome Golden Gala Diamond League meet on Thursday ... and came in SECOND ... right behind Team USA superstar Justin Gatlin.

For the record, Bolt is the current World Record holder in the 100m -- 9.58 that he set in 2009.

He finished Thursday's race with a time of 9.95.

See ... he wasn't even trying.

NBA star Lance Stephenson isn't going to the Finals ... or to Disneyland -- but it's ok, because he did get to see a roomful of naked chicks at a famous Miami strip club ... TMZ has learned.

Just hours after Lance and the Indiana Pacers lost game 7 to the Miami Heat Monday ... the shooting guard eased his pain at King of Diamonds -- the gentleman's club where Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and Rihanna frequently make it rain.

Lance on the other hand ... made it sprinkle. Our KOD sources say the 22-year-old stood in the corner most of the night, only got 2 lap dances, and dropped a grand total of about $1100.

Not that $1100 is chump change, but typically we've seen celebs shower dancers with $5,000 to $10,000.

In Lance's defense ... he's only a 3-year pro who's hardly making LeBron dollars.

Or maybe he just adheres to the laws of BBD.

Lakers star Metta World Peace went out on a limb -- making a bold prediction on who will win the NBA Finals ... and then the limb snapped when he tried to spell his pick.

The whole exchange is pretty great -- and it's clear, when it comes to the upcoming NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat ... Donald's riding with the squad from South Beach.

Deacon Jones wasn't just a QB killa ... he's also responsible for bringing WAR to the world ... this according to two of the legendary band's founding members.

Back before WAR took over the music scene, some of the guys performed in a band called Nightshift ... which played backup for Deacon during his singing gigs. (Deacon was a hell of an R&B singer).

In fact, Nightshift was reportedly "discovered" by a major record producer while backing up Deacon during a gig in 1969 ... and they soon became WAR.

Also, Deacon famously sang on the studio recording of "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

Now, two of the original members of WAR -- Harold Brown and Howard Scott -- tell TMZ they're eternally grateful for everything Deacon did for their careers.

"Were it not for Deacon's interest, we may not have become world-famous musicians as members of WAR," the guys told TMZ in a joint statement.

Brown and Scott also tell us they plan to dedicate an entire concert to their "friend and mentor" at their July 27 show in Chicago.

Deacon passed away on Monday night at his home in California. He was 74.

The chick-vs-chick beatdown at Slammiversary XI is already being hailed as one of the most FEROCIOUS matches in female wrestling history ... and one of the TNA knockouts has the battle wounds to prove it.

Taryn Terrell knows ... there's nothing fake about being slammed on your head or launched onto your back from several feet above the ground ... because after Sunday's big "Last Knockout Standing" match in Boston, she was covered in bruises.

The 27-year-old tells TMZ ... she's overwhelmed by all the praise she's been getting since the match ... and says she's just happy to help bring more attention to women's wrestling.

Taryn adds, "People underestimate me for being blonde and bubbly, but I'm an athlete, and I have a passion for wrestling ... I'll do whatever it takes to prove people wrong."

Porn star Taylor Stevens knows ... if the L.A. Kings are going to come back from an 0-2 deficit in the Western Conference finals, they're gonna need her boobs to distract the Chicago Blackhawks -- and tonight, she's READY TO STEP UP!!!

FYI -- Taylor has become a master distractor at the Kings games ... strategically sitting behind the opposing team's bench (with cans in full view) in the hopes of taking the players' minds off the game ... and it's worked in the past.

So, with the Kings' championship hopes on the line ... Taylor tells TMZ she's carefully selected her battle threads for Game 3 in L.A. tonight ... and judging from the pics, it's clear she means business.

Former UFC fighter Rampage Jackson is BACK -- officially signing a brand new deal with TNA wrestling and rival MMA company Bellator ... and he tells TMZ, the new contract blows his UFC deal out of the water.

Rampage tells TMZ, "When you look at my deal in the UFC, and the scope of what my deal with Bellator and TNA is, this is a dream come true."

He adds, "When other fighters get the chance to see everything I'm able to do with this deal and the benefits it provides, you're going to see a big change in MMA. I guarantee it."

Rampage left the UFC earlier this year on bitter terms ... telling us, the UFC treated him like crap and screwed him over financially. UFC honcho Dana White shot back, implying Rampage was an overpaid wash-up.

Under his new multi-year deal with Spike TV, Rampage will compete in Bellator and also appear on TNA's "Impact Wrestling." He also gets a reality show. So far, no word on how much he's getting paid.

SIZE MATTERS ... and at last night's Heat-Pacers game, Justin Bieber was in the teeny weenie Jesus department compared to Flo Rida.

Justin dropped by the American Airlines Arena for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals, wearing his bandwagon baseball cap and Hefty-brand button down ... but the tiny Jesus really made a messiah of his outfit.

Flo Rida vs. Justin Bieber -- it's a slam dunk, right?

Flo Rida has his arm around an empty chair at the Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers game last night ... after his manager got EJECTED for being a trash-talkin' pain in the ass.

Flo and his manager were sitting pretty close to the Pacers bench ... when his manager allegedly began to verbally attack Pacers player Jeff Pendergraph.

TNT sideline reporter (and connoisseur of ugly sportcoats) Craig Sager beelined over to the scene and got the scoop ... explaining, "It actually was Flo Rida's manager who was ejected.

"He and Pendergraph had been going back and forth. He got to be such a distraction that the officials came over and tried to eject him. He wanted to stay put. However, Flo Rida said, 'You're my manager, but you've got to get out of here now.'"

Deacon Jones ... one of the greatest football players in the history of the game -- is dead.

Jones -- a member of the L.A. Rams Fearsome Foursome from 1961 to 1971 -- died at his home in So. Cal. at age 74.

Deacon revolutionized the way defensive ends played the game -- not only creating his famous "head slap" technique, but he's also responsible for the term "sack" because of the way he destroyed quarterbacks.

Jones was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980.

Deacon also dabbled in TV and movies. He had guest-starring roles on "The Brady Bunch" and "Bewitched." He was also in the movie, "Heaven Can Wait."

Jones died of natural causes.

Stephon Marbury's ex-mistress is hell-bent on collecting her hush money from the ex-NBA star ... even if that means going after his precious assets, like a couple of luxury cars.

TMZ broke the story ... Marbury and Thurayyah Mitchell -- the personal chef he boinked, while he was married, back in 2006 -- had an agreement: she would keep quiet about the affair, as long as he coughed up $900,000.

Problem is ... Marbury stopped making payments around the $600,000 mark, so Mitchell dragged the NBA star to court earlier this year, where a judge ordered him to pony up the remaining $331,584.50.

According to new court docs ... Mitchell claims Marbury still hasn't paid, so she wants a judge to force Marbury to turn over his Mercedes-Benz, his Land Rover and liquidate some of his assets to settle the debt.

HUGE legal victory for Shaq -- the lawsuit filed by an alleged ex-mistress who claimed the NBA star harassed her following their breakup has been dismissed ... because the judge says she's a dirty LIAR.

As we reported, Vanessa Lopez filed her lawsuit against Shaq back in 2010 claiming she was his mistress for 5 years ... and once she broke up with him, he launched a campaign to harass her and make her fear for her safety.

But the Florida judge just lowered the legal boom on Lopez in his ruling -- claiming the court CAUGHT HER in several lies ... proving it's impossible to believe anything that comes out of her mouth.

"[Lopez] lied often. She lied about facts important to the defense, and she demonstrated an utter disrespect for the system of justice," the judge stated.

Among Lopez's lies -- the judge says Vanessa claimed she "did not know of" any previous restraining orders that had been issued against her ... when there were official records showing she was hit with one stemming from a case involving an ex-boyfriend.

The judge says there's also proof she lied about her legal history with NBA star Kenyon Martin ... who had accused her of stealing his credit card and running up charges.

And there's this ... Vanessa's lawyers completely deserted her almost immediately following her deposition earlier this year ... a huge red flag.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Mike Adams was stabbed earlier today while reportedly trying to stop some hooligans from stealing his truck and is currently recovering in the hospital.

The Steelers confirmed the incident on their website, saying, "Mike Adams was injured and is hospitalized after being stabbed in an apparent robbery attempt early Saturday morning in Pittsburgh’s South Side."

Adams reportedly caught three men attempting to hijack his truck, which was parked in front of his home. During the confrontation Adams was allegedly stabbed by one of the assailants ... who then ran off.

According to Adams' agent, Eric Metz, Adams continued to chase the alleged thieves, even while injured. Adams was then taken to the hospital, where he had to undergo surgery for the wound. Luckily no vital organs were affected.

The NFLer tweeted about the incident afterwards, saying, "I had an angel lookin out for me! I'll be ok just gotta fight to get back harder then ever."

Hulk Hogan is refusing to let his charred-up hand run wild on his wrestling plans -- TMZ has learned the Hulkster has CONFIRMED he'll appear at TNA wrestling's big pay-per-view event in Boston this weekend.

It's kind of a shock ... considering Hogan's been undergoing daily medical procedures on his hand ever since he burned the holy hell out of it during a boating accident last weekend.

But TNA president Dixie Carter tells us she talked with Hulk ... and the wrestling legend reassured her that he will not only attend Slammiversary XI -- but he's planning on taking part in a fan interaction event the day before ... signing autographs.

Luckily the 59-year old wrestler writes with his right hand ... the one without the disgusting burn marks.

Keyshawn Johnson tells TMZ ... Justin Bieber isn't just a coward -- he's a TRICKSTER ... who switched seats with his Ferrari passenger at the end of his wild ride through Calabasas so he could beat the rap for his reckless driving.

Keyshawn has finally broken his silence about the incident -- and it's clear ... the former NFL star is still extremely PISSED at Bieber.

"You got a 19-year-old kid ... feeling entitled ... speeding up and down the highway ... that's why all the neighbors is mad," Key says ... "You can't do that."

Johnson says he personally witnessed Bieber behind the wheel as he blazed through their private, gated Calabasas community earlier his week ... but says when he confronted the Ferrari at Bieber's home, Justin SWITCHED SEATS with his African-American passenger -- who he says was Lil Twist -- as they pulled into the garage.

"Look man, I know the difference between a black kid driving a car and white kid driving a car ... I got biracial kids."
