Hulk Hogan has no right to sue Gawker for ruining his reputation by publishing parts of his sex tape ... because he had already admitted that he's a lying, cheating bastard ... this according to Gawker.

Gawker has filed a response to Hulk's $100,000,000 lawsuit against the website ... begging the judge to throw out the case because they had a journalistic right to publish the 1 minute 41 second clip.

In the docs, Gawker claims Hulk had already admitted he was an adulterer in a book he released in 2009 ... so the video couldn't have caused any more harm to his already sullied reputation.

Gawker also claims the website shouldn't be on the hook for invading Hulk's privacy because it didn't record the tape ... it just distributed a small amount of the footage, which it believed to be newsworthy because Hulk is a world famous celebrity.

Gawker also says it shouldn't have to reveal the identity of the person who leaked the footage to the website -- despite Hulk's demands -- citing laws that protect the news sources.

Sometimes steroids just don't do the trick ... just ask UFC's Stephan Bonnar, who got crushed by Anderson Silva during last month's UFC fight.

After Bonnar's loss -- which triggered his retirement from the UFC -- he was tested and Drostanolone (an anabolic steroid) showed up in his system ... according to MMAjunkie.com.

Here's the thing ... this isn't the first time this has happened to to Bonnar. He tested positive for a steroid substance back in 2006 after UFC 62. He was suspended and fined.

Wayne Gretzky tells TMZ ... the NHL has GOT to figure out a way to end the lockout and bring hockey back ASAP.

He also made it clear that we can't date his daughter.

Wayne was out in L.A. yesterday ... and told us he doesn't have any solutions to get pro hockey up and running again ... but says, "Hopefully they get it worked out though ... we need hockey back."

"It's disappointing for everybody," Wayne added.

And while he was there, our photog asked for permission to date Wayne's super hot daughter Paulina. Permission was not granted.

Mark Cuban says Donald Trump's $5 million challenge to Barack Obama was "one of the DUMBEST things ever" ... and now he's responding with a $1 MILLION challenge of his own.

Cuban appeared on Fox4 in Dallas last night ... and made the offer to Trump:

"Donald, you shave your head, $1 million to any charity you want," Cuban said.

Cuban says he's willing to up the offer to $2 million ... if it'll help seal the deal.

"Basketball Wives L.A." star Gloria Govan tells TMZ ... she's convinced VH1 is giving her the chop because her husband Matt Barnes refused to participate on the show this season.

Govan says she has yet to be officially released from the show ... but says the writing is on the wall and knew it was only a matter of time when she didn't let producers film her wedding over the summer.

Govan says she believes producers are waiting to give her walking papers until AFTER the reunion show ... because they want her to show up. Govan says she hasn't decided if she'll go ... but it sounds like she's leaning towards no.

Lil Wayne surfaced in his court side seats for the Miami Heat season opener -- despite his recent health crisis -- but as TMZ reported ... he had to trade in his private jet for a luxury bus to make the return trip.

Weezy was in his usual primo seats to see the NBA champs defeat the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.

Sources close to Wayne tell us he rode a private luxury tour bus from his mother's home in Louisiana back to Miami ... sometime on Monday.

As we told you ... Wayne is under strict orders from his doctors to stay off airplanes in the wake of two mid-air medical emergencies last week -- in which he suffered 2 seizure-like episodes.

We doubt the NBA action was doctor prescribed -- but sitting court side to see LeBron and D-Wade in action can't hurt.

Former Major League Baseball pitcher Pascual Perez was stabbed to death in a home invasion robbery in the Dominican Republic ... this according to multiple local reports.

Perez -- who pitched in the Majors for 11 years -- was reportedly stabbed in the neck during the incident. There is speculation Perez was killed for his MLB pension payment he received before the murder.

Perez played for a slew of MLB teams -- including the Pirates, Braves, Expos and Yankees. He made the All-Star squad back in 1983 -- the same year he had a 3.43 ERA.

Pascual got the nickname "Perimeter Perez" when he got lost on the I-285 while driving himself to a Braves game back in 1982 on a day he was scheduled to start.

So far, it's unclear if anyone has been arrested in connection to the murder.

Ex-WWE Diva Amy Weber had a full spread of naked photos on her laptop that got stolen last week -- so rather than wait for some lowlife hacker to make money off "leaked" nude pics ... she decided to release them for FREE!!!

Amy's laptop was swiped from her car last Wednesday while she was playing with her kids at an L.A. park -- and she tells us, the computer contained a nude spread she shot for Playboy that never made it to print.

Rather than sit and wait for the pics to surface on some seedy website, Weber tells us, she and her management team decided to release the photos on their own terms.

And we're all glad they did.

Tim Tebow has finally scored -- problem is, it's off the field -- because TMZ got the first pic showing Tim with his hot new girlfriend/actress, who is no stranger to famous virgins.

Tim and Camilla Belle showed up at Latitude 30 in Jacksonville, Florida Tuesday night, where they bowled and partied.

Camilla has a history with other putatively pure celebs. She dated Joe Jonas for awhile, but they split up in 2009.

People who were at Latitude 30 last night tell us ... Tim and Camilla were overly affectionate throughout the evening, holding hands and touching.

Camilla's rep didn't get back to us, but sources connected with Camilla tell us they are definitely an item.

San Francisco Giants fans got their wish ... the "good luck" monkey -- whose birth coincided with a string of Giants victories -- WILL be named after one of the World Series winning players, and TMZ has learned who gets the honor.

A rep for the SF Zoo tells TMZ, the red-haired Francois' langur monkey will forever be named Romo -- after Giants' closing pitcher Sergio Romo ... who struck out Detroit Tigers' Miguel Cabrera to clinch the WS Sunday night.

Romo (the monkey) rose to fame during the NLCS -- when the Giants went on a 3-game winning streak right after its birth.

Fans claimed Romo's miraculous birth was responsible for the Giants' wins -- and demanded the zoo name the "Lucky Langur" after a current Giants player.

The zoo's rep says they settled on the name because the monkey shares Sergio's "playful spirit."

9:40 AM PT -- People at the restaurant are saying ... actress Camilla Belle -- who starred in the movie "Push" -- was also inside the joint while Tim was there.

It's unclear if Camilla and Tim were together ... or if it was just a coincidence.

Fun Fact -- Tim and Camilla were on the red carpet together at the Met Gala in NY back in May (pictured below).

Here's a photo that'll definitely fuel some trade rumors ... NY Jets QB (?) Tim Tebow at a restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida last night ... 11 miles from the stadium where the Jaguars play.

The pic was taken at Latitude 30 ... where Tebow was hanging out with some lady friends ... including a woman who is rumored to be his GF.

There are reports floating around Jacksonville that Tebow will be traded from the Jets to the Jags by Thursday's NFL trade deadline ... but so far, it seems to be nothing more than talk.

BTW -- Tebow grew up in the Jacksonville area ... and went to school at UF ... so it's possible he was just visiting friends.

The Boston Celtics hate her son's guts ... but Ray Allen's mom tells TMZ, she still loves her boy's old teammates like they were her own children -- even though Ray ditched 'em to join the Miami Heat.

It's no secret -- Ray's old teammates Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are extremely bitter Ray jumped ship to the Heat following last season ... after the Heat whooped the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

During a news conference last month, Garnett said he had cut Allen out of his life -- "I don't have Ray's number anymore. I'm not trying to communicate." Pierce said, "I was very surprised by Ray's decision. I thought we would finish our careers together."

For his part, Allen has said he hasn't spoken to any of his old teammates since they split.

But now that both teams are set to face off tonight in Miami, Allen's mom Flo Allen-Hopson tells TMZ, she isn't holding the same grudge, claiming, "I love the guys. They’ve been in our home. They’ve been in Ray's home. If they came to my home tomorrow, if they wanted me to cook for them, I would because they are all our sons."

Flo -- who says she's rooting for the Heat now for obvious reasons -- tells us, she plans to hug Garnett and Pierce tonight when she attends the game.

Matt Barnes has been suspended by the NBA for one game (without pay) ... after the L.A. Clippers forward pled "no contest" to interfering with the duties of a police officer.

According to the NBA, Barnes will serve out his suspension tomorrow -- when the Clippers play their season opener against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The punishment stems from an incident back in July -- when Barnes was arrested for driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest.

As we first reported, Barnes eventually pled no contest to misdemeanor interference with the duties of a police officer ... and his suspended license charge was dropped when he proved he had a valid license.

For the first time since he was banned from pro cycling for LIFE, a sponsorless, titleless, cancerless Lance Armstrong was seen on his bike this week ... training ... just for the hell of it.

TMZ has obtained photographs of Armstrong in Waikoloa Village, HI yesterday -- riding his bicycle on a local highway with another rider.

Sources tell TMZ, Armstrong has been hanging around the Hawaiian town for the last week -- riding his bicycle, swimming at the local public pool, and visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

In the photos, Armstrong is wearing a Livestrong jersey, despite stepping down as chairman from the foundation earlier this month in the wake of his doping scandal.

He's also wearing a helmet made by Giro -- one of the sponsors that kicked Lance to the curb this month.

As for the bike, Lance's rep tells us Armstrong has traded out his iconic Trek for a Crumpton -- "a local bike maker from Austin, TX."

Lance's rep also says, "[Armstrong] will continue to stay active and try to be the fittest 40 year old out there (he's now 41)."
