Michael Phelps and his magical putter arrived at LAX yesterday -- along with a bunch of other relatively useless bags -- wrapping up his remarkable trip to Scotland.

In case you missed it, the world's greatest Olympian drained the longest putt ever recorded on video, 153 feet, while playing at Dunhill Links Championship last week.

Unofficially, the putt also marks Phelps' greatest achievement on land.

Sometimes when NFL players make friendly wagers with people ... and lose ... they actually pay up ... and that's exactly why we're posting this photo of a Washington Redskins player wearing wrestling panties.

The greased up brute pictured above is star defensive end Adam Carriker -- who was recently placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in Week 2.

Carriker, an avid wrestling fan who also hosts the 4th & Pain radio show, recently made a bet with ex-WWE superstar Bill Goldberg about the Wash. vs. ATL matchup this past weekend.

If Washington won, Goldberg (an ex-Falcons defensive tackle) agreed to sport a Redskins jersey ... and if ATL won, Carriker said he'd dress up as Goldberg in his wrestling prime ... speedo and all.

Obviously, the Falcons won -- and Carriker, BEING A MAN, paid off his bet ... unlike some other high-profile, yellow-bellied, jersey-dodging people we know.

Former NFL star Larry Johnson has been charged with felony domestic violence after allegedly strangling an ex-gf in Vegas last week, TMZ has learned.

According to the Clark County D.A., Larry was charged with one count of felony domestic battery stemming from the incident.

He faces a max of 5 years in prison and a $15,000 fine. FYI -- the fine for non-strangulation felony domestic battery is only $10,000.

As we previously reported, 32-year-old Johnson -- who once signed a $45 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs -- was arrested last week for the alleged attack inside the Bellagio hotel.

11 former members of Lance Armstrong's United States Postal Service cycling team TURNED on the disgraced athlete -- and testified against him in an investigation by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

The USADA announced .... the cyclists who provided evidence to the organization include George Hincapie, Tyler Hamilton and disgraced former Tour de France champ Floyd Landis.

“The U.S.P.S. Team doping conspiracy was professionally designed to groom and pressure athletes to use dangerous drugs, to evade detection, to ensure its secrecy and ultimately gain an unfair competitive advantage through superior doping practices,” the USADA said in a statement.

“A program organized by individuals who thought they were above the rules and who still play a major and active role in sport today.”

The USADA says its investigation into Armstrong uncovered "the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen."

NFL great Alex Karras -- who also played Mongo in "Blazing Saddles" -- died this morning after suffering kidney failure ... this according to a family spokesperson.

Karras had been battling a myriad of illnesses over the past 2 years, including kidney disease, heart disease, stomach cancer and dementia.

Karras was a punishing defensive superstar on the Detroit Lions from 1958 to 1970 ... before breaking out in Hollywood.

Besides "Blazing Saddles," Karras also had a starring role on the '80s sitcom "Webster"

He was 77.

NY Jets owner Woody Johnson went on CNBC's "Squawk Box" this morning to talk business -- instead, the hosts tried to get all up in Tim Tebow's business ... by asking about the QB's virginity.

Johnson was talking Jets football, when Becky Quick asked if Tebow will remain on the team next year.

But right after Johnson gives his answer, guest host Richard LeFrak chimed in and said, "Do you know ... is he still a virgin?"

Another host added, "Enquiring minds want to know." Someone else says, "We ask the tough questions."

Johnson replied, "We don't really go into that."

With his arm in a sling, Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Matt Kemp took his busted left shoulder out clubbing Tuesday night ... just FOUR DAYS after undergoing surgery.

Kemp -- who had arthroscopic work done on his rotator cuff and shoulder -- and the Angels' Torii Hunter hit up Supperclub in Hollywood Tuesday night ... where they battled crowds and the dreaded rose-seller lady on the way out.

Kemp seemed to be in good spirits for a guy who won't be able to swing a bat for the next three months.

Buuuuut ... Kemp just signed a $160 MILLION contract .... so is it a smart move to take your tender, vulnerable shoulder to a place packed with crowds and drunk people?

It's the LAST tab you'd ever wanna pick up -- a bill for a lavish steak dinner consumed by the heavyweights on the Miami Dolphins offensive line -- but Monday night, several unlucky rookies did just that ... and it cost 'em $7,400.

All told, there were 10 players at the dinner at Prime One Twelve steakhouse in Miami Beach -- fresh off their Sunday night victory over the Bengals -- meaning the average cost per head was $740.

Dolphins guard Richie Incognito tells us, they ordered practically everything on the menu -- including Wagyu beef, which runs $35 AN OUNCE ... in addition to a full array of appetizers, expensive wines, and of course ... lemon drop shots.

Incognito tells us, the guys go out for dinner several times a year as a bonding experience -- and it's a tradition to make the rookies pay for one of those meals.

We're told the rooks split the bill based on their salaries -- which means starting right tackle Jonathan Martin paid the most.

Champagne problems ... in this case, Dom Perignon.

Stop us if you've heard this one before ... former WWE diva Tammy Sytch was just arrested in Connecticut ... her 5th arrest in 4 weeks.

Law enforcement tells us ... Tammy -- who wrestled under the name Sunny -- was popped in Branford this afternoon ... hours after she was released from jail on Arrest #4.

This time, Tammy was busted for 3rd degree burglary and 3 counts of violating a protective order.

We broke the story, Sytch was also arrested yesterday for violating a protective order when she was found passed out in the home of her ex-BF.

Tammy had also been arrested 3 times in 3 days back in September under similar circumstances.

Tammy is currently being held without bond and is expected to see a judge in the morning ... who will probably release her so she can get arrested again.

Hulk Hogan just called in to "TMZ Live" ... and was completely stunned when we told him about the footage of his BFF Bubba the Love Sponge plotting to profit off of his sex tape ... telling us, "I'm sick to my stomach right now."

Hogan says Bubba had adamantly denied having any knowledge about the sex tape ... and told Hulk he didn't know there was a camera capturing Hogan's X-rated session with his former wife Heather Clem.

Hulk says he had warned Bubba ... "If you had anything to do with this, that means we were never friends."

We broke the story ... Bubba appears at the very end of the sex tape, after Hogan had left the room, and told Heather, "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage."

Hulk Hogan's best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge, not only secretly videotaped Hulk having sex -- he bragged afterwards that the tape was a goldmine that could be the key to Bubba's retirement.

TMZ has seen the last few minutes of Hulk's leaked sex tape -- in which he bangs Bubba's wife Heather Clem. It's very clear -- Bubba was in on it. Moments after the deed is done and Hulk leaves, Bubba says to his wife ... "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage."

His wife shoots back, "You'd never do that." Bubba then tries to recover, saying, "I wouldn't do that, you'd be the biggest rat, you'd be dead."

The revelation is interesting ... considering Hulk went on the Howard Stern show TODAY and said he and Bubba are still good friends -- and sounded confident Bubba was NOT the culprit.

Hulk Hogan is turning to cops for help after his sex tape surfaced online last week -- seeking to file a criminal police report with his local PD in Florida ... in the hopes they'll be able to track down whoever leaked the footage ... TMZ has learned.

We've learned Hulk's attorney David R. Houston contacted the St. Petersburg PD this AM, claiming whoever made the tape committed a felony by unlawfully recording Hulk without his consent -- and whoever leaked it broke the law by unlawfully running that footage.

Hulk's hoping a police investigation will lead him to the culprit ... or culprits.

As we reported, Hulk has already fired off a cease-and-desist letter to Gawker, demanding the website remove the minute-long clip it posted, depicting Hulk having sex. So far, the website hasn't removed the footage.

Police in Sacramento, CA have interviewed a WWE fan who was punched in the face by CM Punk during a live televised event Monday night ... TMZ has learned.

The incident occurred on "Monday Night Raw" -- when Punk went into the crowd after a match ... and several fans began to get physical with him.

At first, Punk shrugged off the fans ... but the wrestler snapped when someone made contact with the back of Punk's head.

Punk unleashes a punch at the person he thinks hit him ... taking the guy down hard.

The victim met with police shortly after the incident ... and a rep for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Dept. tells us the man didn't appear to have any major injuries that required medical attention.

But later that night, the victim re-contacted police ... and said he had developed pain in his knees.

Cops say officers took the victim's statement and are determining whether to conduct a full investigation into the matter.

A rep for the WWE tells TMZ, "WWE security was unfortunately not in the appropriate place at the time. Given CM Punk's persona as a 'bad guy' fans were naturally heckling him, but unfortunately a few fans began shoving him and one struck him in the kidney and on the back."

Awkward news for Kim Kardashian -- her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush just announced his current GF Lilit Avagyan is pregnant with his first child ... and it BETTER not be a girl ... or else.

Reggie called in to the Paul and Young Ron Morning Show to make the announcement -- saying, "I have a little one on the way. We're pretty excited ... It's an opportunity to bring in new life and raise a child."

Linda Hogan is firing back at the Hulkster ... claiming her ex-husband was lying through his over-bleached mustache when he accused her of abusing him during their marriage.

Linda is pissed over the statements Hulk made to Howard Stern this morning ... when he claimed he was the victim of verbal and mental abuse by his former spouse ... and that's why he decided to bang Bubba the Love Sponge's estranged wife.

Now, Linda is calling BS ... telling TMZ, "Unbelievable -- I never abused Hulk Hogan."

Linda also unleashed her lawyer, Raymond Rafool, who adds, "Hulk Hogan’s the-devil-made-me-do -it (or in his case my ex-wife Linda-made-me-do-it) is just a pitiful excuse for a grown man to avoid taking responsibility for his own mishaps and actions."

Rafool adds, "It is a shame that Hulk Hogan tries to deflect his immorality with false allegations that Linda verbally and emotionally abused him. Linda Hogan never abused Hulk Hogan – verbally, mentally or otherwise."

Convicted child rapist Jerry Sandusky has just been sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison ... which means he'll most likely die behind bars.

The 68-year-old former Penn State assistant football coach was facing up to 400 years behind bars ... after he was convicted on 45 counts of sexual assault involving 10 to 15 boys.

Sandusky will serve NO LESS than 30 years, because under Pennsylvania law, he can't be released on parole before the minimum term is up. He will get credit for 112 days served.

Sporting a fresh pair of shackles, Sandusky wore a red prison jumpsuit to court and appeared thinner than usual. He was also wearing a bulletproof vest.

Jerry's wife Dottie was in attendance when the judge issued the sentence. Six of Sandusky's victims were also present.

Jerry also addressed the court -- and once again proclaimed his innocence during what is being described as a rambling, babbling batsh*t crazy statement.

The mother of one of the victims read a statement in court ... and said her son contemplated suicide after Sandusky's attack.

Sandusky smiled on his way into court.
