One of Terrell Owens' baby mamas has her fingers crossed that the recently-fired wide receiver lands a new NFL team STAT ... all so she can keep getting paid.

TMZ broke the story ... T.O's fourth baby mama -- a woman named Melanie Paige Smith -- filed papers earlier this month to BLOCK T.O.'s request to lower his massive child support payments.

In the docs, Smith's reasoning was largely based on the fact that T.O. had recently inked a deal with the Seattle Seahawks, for close to a $1,000,000 ... and could afford to continue shelling out for his kid.

But as of Sunday that's no longer the case -- Terrell revealed via Twitter that he was axed by the NFL team and is currently a free agent. Translation -- no more paycheck.

Now Smith's attorney -- Randall Kessler -- tells TMZ ... T.O.'s career snag won't affect his client's request to keep the dough coming -- at least for now. Instead she has her "fingers crossed that another team picks him up."

Troy Aikman's ex-wife was arrested in Collin County, Texas for being drunk in public earlier today ... TMZ has learned.

According to the Murphy Police Department, 43-year-old Rhonda Aikman was arrested on August 27 for public intoxication ... a low level misdemeanor.

Rhonda was hauled to a nearby jail, where bond was set at $269.00. She has since been released.

Aikman's car was towed from the scene of the arrest to a nearby impound lot.

TMZ broke the story ... Rhonda and Troy divorced in April 2011 after 10 years of marriage. Rhonda was working in publicity for the Dallas Cowboys when she met Troy, who was the starting QB at the time.

The Chattanooga Lookouts are a minor league baseball team affiliated with the L.A. Dodgers ... they're also the only team with a picture of a naked man's tattooed ass hanging in left field.

This photo was taken yesterday at AT&T Field in Tennessee ... showing what appears at first glance to be a harmless ad for Champy's Chicken right near the scoreboard.

Upon closer inspection ... turns out the Champy's logo is actually a tattoo that happens to be located on the right ass cheek of a very big Champy's fan.

A rep for the restaurant tells TMZ ... Champy's gave the ass model $200 in store credit so they could use the shot in their ads. The credit was all up front ... so, the model gets nothing in the back end (rimshot).

Neil Diamond's classic "Sweet Caroline" will no longer be played at Penn State football games because the lyrics have been deemed inappropriate ... in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

The song ...with the lyrics, "touching me, touching you" ... has been a traditional fan sing-a-long at Penn State football home games, but school officials have decided to cut it from the playlist -- for obvious reasons.

But here's the thing, tons of pro and college teams -- most famously the Boston Red Sox -- use the song ... which Diamond has said was inspired by a photo of a then 11-year old Caroline Kennedy with her pony.

Here she is ... the woman Ken Sharmrock roughed up in a California mall because ... for some crazy reason ... he thought she was a dude.

Her name is Melinda Garcia ... she weighs 120 pounds ... and tells TMZ there's NO WAY Shamrock could've confused her for a man. In fact, she claims Ken is straight up LYING about the fight.

We broke the story ... Shamrock claims he was breaking up a girl-on-girl brawl in a mall in Modesto, CA earlier this month when someone jumped on his back. Shamrock claims he believed the person was a man, so he took "him" down. Turns out ... "he" was actually a "she."

But Garcia claims it's all BS ... claiming Shamrock didn't actually break up the original fight, but rather screamed at her to do it ... which she did.

Garcia claims Shamrock began to yell at her for not stopping the fight sooner ... and then snapped and PUNCHED her in the face.

Garcia says her mom ran over to intervene ... and Shamrock punched her too.

Soon after the alleged girl-punching, security and police arrived to the scene ... and only then, Garcia says, Shamrock backed off.

TMZ has text messages from Garcia to her sister (who goes by "Hoochie" in the phone) just moments after the fight in which she describes the incident.

Garcia tells TMZ ... if the police don't press charges, she plans to file a lawsuit.

Kris Humphries could learn a thing or two from his parents in his messy divorce from Kim Kardashian -- because Kris' p-units settled THEIR divorce before his mom ever filed papers.

TMZ broke the story ... Kris' mom Debra filed for divorce from his dad earlier this month in Minnesota, citing an "irretrievable breakdown" in their marriage. They were married in 1982.

Now, TMZ has learned, Debra and Kris' dad William settled their affairs long before Debra filed papers -- because when she filed the divorce docs, she included a settlement agreement already signed by both parties.

According to the agreement, neither party will be awarded spousal support. William gets the couple's Chaska, MN home as well as the BMW, the boat, the grand piano ... and whole lot of credit card debt.

Both parties will go their separate ways with their own cash, checking, and savings accounts. William will pay all attorneys' fees. No mess, no fuss.

Chael Sonnen is still taking shots at UFC star Jon Jones, but now he's doing it with a flier for his pizza joint in Oregon ... and it's pretty obvious what he's trying to say.

Sonnen is still fuming mad that Jones refused to fight him at UFC 151 after Sonnen was named as an injury replacement for Dan Henderson.

So now Sonnen is calling out Jones by adverting a Jon Jones Special Pizza ... which is "loaded with chicken."  He also pokes fun at Jones' DUI arrest back in May, by advertising that the special comes with a six-pack of beer ... but they offer delivery so you'll "avoid a DUI."

Surfing legend Laird Hamilton thinks it's BS that Lance Armstrong got stripped of his Tour de France titles, but not because he thinks doping is wrong ... but because everyone was doing it.

Hamilton took the unusual position when our our photog bumped into him yesterday in Malibu ... saying he believes that if everyone is cheating in a sport, then it's "still an even playing field, it's still the best guy wins."

Hamilton also said he thinks the public coming down on athletes who are found to be cheating isn't right, saying, "I think it's a little bit of hypocrisy that we think these athletes are sterile people that are eating dry toast and then they're performing at these high levels. Rocket ships need rocket fuel to go to space. Athletes need the fuel they need to do what they need to do and let's be realistic about that."

Warrick Dunn knows a thing or two about the NFL ... rushing for more than 10,000 yards and 49 TDs ... so, you might wanna take his advice when it comes to Fantasy Football.

The former NFL star -- who crushed it for the Falcons and the Bucs during his 12 NFL seasons -- told us who would take with his #1 pick ... and shocker, it's NOT a fellow running back!

Lance Armstrong is no longer a Tour de France champion ... the cyclist has been STRIPPED of his seven titles in the wake of allegations that he used banned performance-enhancers.

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency made the announcement this morning ... Armstrong will not only lose his victories, he has also been banned from the sport of cycling for life.

Armstrong has adamantly denied the allegations ... claiming the testing process is "one-sided and unfair."

Lance released a statement responding to a USADA official yesterday saying, "There is zero physical evidence to support his outlandish and heinous claims."

Chael Sonnen is TEARING into Jon Jones ... calling the UFC champ an "entitled bratty kid" for refusing to fight him at UFC 151.

Chael was hangin' out in front of his pizza joint in Oregon ... not training ...  since Jones refused to accept Chael as a replacement fighter for Dan Henderson, who had to pull out of UFC 151 due to a knee injury.  The event has since been canceled entirely ... the first time the UFC has EVER canceled an event.

Sonnen is clearly furious with Jones ... claiming his refusal to take the fight is an act of "treason.'

"Jon Jones isn't gonna fight me next Saturday ... what else does he have to do? Is there a wine-tasting at a race track or something?"

Sonnen took another jab at Jones -- making light of his DUI bust.

In the end, Chael insists Jon can run ... but he can't hide ... saying they WILL eventually cross paths in the octagon.

UFC hall-of-famer Ken Shamrock -- one of the greatest MMA fighters ever -- has been accused of battering a woman at a California mall ... but Ken claims it was an honest mistake ... 'cause he thought she was a he.

Shamrock -- whose nickname is "The World's Most Dangerous Man" -- was hangin' out at a mall in Modesto, CA last month when he saw two women fighting each other in front of the Coach store ... surrounded by a group of lookie loos filming the whole thing.

We're told Shamrock dove into the scrap and tried to pry the women apart ... when one of the bystanders, a HEAVYSET bystander, jumped on his back and tried to rip Ken out of the pile.

Shamrock's rep tells TMZ ... he threw the person off of his back and followed up with a move that knocked the attacker to the ground.

After the person was incapacitated, the crowd shouted at Ken, "You just hit a girl." Ken took a closer look and realized the attacker was in fact a female .. so he immediately backed off.

An officer arrived to the scene and took a battery report against Shamrock, noting the only injury was a slight abrasion to the woman's knee. The report was sent to the District Attorney's Office.

But law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Shamrock probably won't be prosecuted because officials don't feel the woman he knocked to the ground is a "victim." In fact, they believe Ken was acting in self-defense.

Chad Johnson's estranged wife Evelyn Lozada -- whom the ex-NFL player allegedly headbutted during a nuclear argument this month -- is showing her face for the first time since the incident ... and TMZ has the pics.

The photos were snapped this week in Florida -- on a beach near the friend's house where Evelyn fled following the alleged domestic violence incident on August 11th.

You can't see the injuries -- we're told Evelyn refuses to leave the house without a hat -- but according to sources, a laceration on her forehead required several stitches.

Since the photos were taken, we're told Evelyn has left for Barbados with her daughter to escape media scrutiny -- and is anxious to put everything behind her.

U.S. Olympic track star Nick Symmonds just ran a mile in 5:19 ... which isn't very impressive ... until you realize he chugged 4 BEERS along the way.

Symmonds was gunning for the world record in something called the "Beer Mile" ... which requires athletes to chug an entire "full-sized" brewski at the beginning of the race ... and another full can of suds at every quarter-mile mark along the way.

28-year-old Symmonds -- who finished 5th in the 800m race at the Olympics in London -- was hoping to break the world record, 5:09, set by Canadian marathon legend Jim Finlayson.

So, Tuesday in Oregon ... armed with a case of Coors ... Nick chased after the record, with a crowd of friends cheering on along the way ... but despite his best effort, Symmonds came up 6 seconds short.

Still, Nick tells TMZ he won't give up his dream ... and plans to continue his training in hopes of winning the title some time in the near future.

Jason Kidd has an unlikely ally in his feud with Mark Cuban -- his arch-nemesis ex-wife Joumana ... who tells TMZ the former Mavs superstar DESERVES to have his jersey retired in Dallas ... no matter how much Mark hates his guts.

The Kidd vs. Cuban feud kicked into high gear this week when the Mavs owner told the media he would NEVER retire JK's jersey in Dallas because he was upset at the way Kidd left the team back in July.

We figured the statement would be music to the ears of Joumana Kidd ... since she went through a NASTY split with Jason back in 2007 ... the kind of divorce that makes Tom and Katie's split look downright friendly.

But Joumana tells TMZ ... that just ain't the case ... and despite her rocky relationship with Jason, she believes the 39-year-old -- who played a key role on the Mavs 2011 championship team -- should be treated like the hoops hero he is.

"[Jason] is an amazing basketball player I can never take that away from him. He’s one of the best guards to ever play in the league. “

She adds, "Lots of fans would love to see his jersey retired in Dallas ... I believe he’s earned it and he deserves that based on what he did for the Mavericks.”

John Tesh is a badass ... not just 'cause he WROTE that insanely catchy/iconic/awesome NBA theme song "Roundball Rock" ... but 'cause he performed it in the middle of the street for us yesterday.

Tesh was out in Beverly Hills when we struck up a convo about the greatest TV theme songs of all time ... which don't contain lyrics. Naturally, "RR" is on the list ... along with a classic from the '60s ... and Tesh gives us a musical sample of that one, too.
