Mike Piazza has no doubt Roger Clemens was pumped up on steroids during their infamous broken bat standoff in the 2000 World Series ... at least according to Mike Piazza's wife!

Mike and his wife, former Playboy Playmate Alicia Rickter, were leaving dinner last night -- and when we started talking to the retired MLB star ... Alicia blurted out, "Does he (Mike) think Roger Clemens was on 'roids when he broke that bat? Yes! He DOES think that!"

You gotta see the look Piazza gave Alicia the second she opened her mouth. We suspect she had a drink with dinner ... and it's obvious he didn't want to rehash the legendary incident.

If ya missed it (shame on you) ... Piazza's bat was shattered by a Clemens heater during the last Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets. Clemens picked up the jagged barrel of the bat and angrily hurled it at Piazza.

The violent incident fueled the longstanding debate about Clemens using steroids ... which he's always denied.

But check out the clip ... Piazza actually goes on to say some nice things about Clemens.

Rafael Nadal just delivered some GREAT NEWS to everyone who's not a Spaniard ... he's officially pulling out of the 2012 Olympics ... claiming he's "not in condition" to compete.

It's a crushing blow to Spain ... since the tennis great won gold at the 2008 Games and was a favorite to top the podium this time around, too.

9:25 AM PT -- According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Owens has also been ordered to pay Smith's attorney's fees and expenses -- a $12,000 obligation.

The judge has ordered T.O. to make 6 easy monthly payments of $2,000 ... but if he's late, the full remaining balance will be due immediately and Owens could face additional punishment.

9:10 AM PT -- Randy Kessler, an attorney for TO's baby mama, Melanie Smith, tells us, "While it is unfortunate that it required court action to get the child support payments resumed, we are glad the amounts have been paid and our client remains hopeful that further court involvement will not be needed and more importantly, that a better, more consistent relationship for her daughter and her daughter's father can develop."

7:45 AM PT -- Court documents show T.O. has finally paid the $20k he owes the mother of his 7-year-old daughter.

Terrell Owens has just arrived to the courthouse in Atlanta, Georgia ... hoping to convince a judge NOT to throw his unemployed ass in jail after missing $20k in child support payments to one of his baby mamas.

Just the fact he arrived ... on time ... is a big step for T.O. ... considering he blew off his last scheduled court appearance and the judge threatened to send his ass to the slammer if he no-showed today.

Earlier this week, T.O. switched lawyers ... and his new attorney released a statement saying, "Mr. Owens is making the necessary arrangements to pay child support due to Ms. Smith in the Georgia case."

The statement continued, "He regrets that he is no longer able to pay child support based upon his previous NFL income. He hopes to be signed to an NFL team in the future. Mr. Owens has always made his child support payments his top priority."

7/19 -- Warrior's rep released a statement saying, "Mr Elias's allegations of criminal fraud are completely unfounded, ill-advised and unfortunate. This is a purely civil matter that is in the process of being resolved by our attorney."

The Ultimate Warrior has been named in a police report ... accused of bilking a collector out of $28k and a ton of wrestling merchandise, including ring-worn wrestling trunks ... TMZ has learned.

The report was filed with the Sante Fe County Sheriff's Department in New Mexico by a sports memorabilia dealer named Christopher Elias.

Elias claims he struck a $28k deal with Warrior, in which the wrestling legend agreed to send Elias a bunch of classic merchandise from his personal collection. Warrior was also supposed to sign twenty wrestling belts and ten Wrestlemania posters that Elias owned.

Elias says he paid Warrior nearly $30k for the gear and the autographs ... but claims the wrestler went MIA and never sent Elias any of the promised merchandise.

So, Elias filed the fraud report asking the Santa Fe Sheriff to bring criminal charges against Warrior. He also vows to sue the wrestling great if he doesn't get back his money and memorabilia ASAP.

We reached out to Warrior's rep for comment -- so far, no word back.

"Iron" Mike Tyson was once the most feared man on the planet -- but even he was no match for the fighters in his own awesome video game ... "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out."

We ran into Tyson in NYC and asked him how he fared against the likes of King Hippo, Soda Popinski, and the other heavy hitters in his hugely popular Nintendo game from the late 80s and 90s.

Mike 'fessed up that -- like most of us -- he could never take the belt from his own alter ego in the game ... Kid Dynamite.

Tyson also admitted there is a real-life person he'd be afraid to meet in a dark alley.

L.A. Kings star Drew Doughty has been officially cleared of raping a woman he hooked up with in a bar ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ first reported, the NHL defenseman had been investigated after the woman accused him of forcibly having sex with her at his home back in March ... after bumping into each other in a Hermosa Beach, CA bar.

According to the the L.A. County District Attorney's Office ... the alleged victim "told the investigating officer that she had consensual sex with suspect" a few months prior to the March incident.

The D.A. says there is insufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt -- and as a result Doughy will not be prosecuted.

Michael Vick doesn't really care about animals ... and should NOT be allowed to own another dog ... this according to the ASPCA.

After Vick went on CNN and told Piers Morgan he hopes to get a new puppy for his kids, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals immediately spoke out against the NFL star who spent 19 months in prison for illegal dogfighting.

"Vick’s journey toward rehabilitation and redemption has not reflected any direct concern for the wellbeing of animals, and we’ve never heard him express a shred of empathy toward the dogs he brutalized and killed" ... the org. tells TMZ.

The ASPCA continues, "Rather than talk about the horrors and brutalities of dog fighting, Vick has instead chosen to focus on the consequences of getting caught."

"Vick’s actions have been simply self-serving and not remotely expressing remorse. Because of this, the ASPCA has serious concerns about Vick’s ability to be a responsible pet guardian."

In other words, don't expect to see Vick at the next ASPCA adoption event.

This is what happens when you drink and drive and crash into a light pole ... allegedly.

Jason Kidd was lucky to emerge from this 2010 Cadillac Escalade with his life after his early morning collision in the Hamptons on July 15. The photo was taken by our friends at the New York Daily News.

As we previously reported, Kidd was arrested for driving while intoxicated following the crash.

In the hours leading up to the crash, Kidd was partying at a club and appeared so drunk, he had to be carried out of the place.

For some reason, he got behind the wheel ... and drove into a telephone pole.

After the crash, Kidd's lawyer released a statement saying, "Jason has pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge and awaits further court proceedings."

NFL star Michael Vick wants to own a dog again -- and five years after his conviction for illegal dog fighting, he can legally get one -- but the question is ... should he?

The Philadelphia Eagles QB was on Piers Morgan's show last night, and said he would like to get a dog for his kids.

After Vick served 19 months in federal prison ... he was banned from owning dogs for 3 years. That ban is about to expire, and Vick thinks having a dog could be "therapeutic" ... for his children. He told Piers, "I can't take that dream away from them. That's selfish on my behalf."

One positive? Vick says he won't let his kids get a pit bull.

Still, we gotta ask ...

John Cena's divorce nightmare has come to an end ... in fact, the two sides have agreed to bury the hatchet ... TMZ has learned.

As we previously reported, Elizabeth Huberdeau felt like she was blindsided when Cena unexpectedly filed to end their 3-year marriage back in May.

Things got nasty ... quickly ... with Liz making moves to challenge the couple's prenup. Liz also said she believed Cena was messing around with other women behind her back.

But now, Liz's attorney, Raymond Rafool, tells TMZ the two have managed to work things out privately ... saying, "All matters [in the divorce] have been settled and resolved amicably.”

The terms of the settlement are confidential.

U.S. Olympic hero Apolo Anton Ohno is getting ready to travel to London for the Summer games ... and tells TMZ he's not even the slightest bit worried about the massive security issues going down in the U.K.

In case you're unaware ... British officials are furious after the private security firm hired to work the Olympics failed to provide enough security personnel for the games ... and now the British government has been forced to call in 3,500 soldiers and extra police officers to cover the gap.

The snafu has led many to question the overall safety of the games.

But Ohno tells TMZ there's nothing to fear -- saying he still plans to attend the Olympics because "I think it'll be OK."

TMZ has obtained a photo of Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil ... taken WHILE he was being arrested for allegedly flashing a gun at another motorist during a road rage incident in Miami.

The photo is interesting because it shows the front of Dumervil's shirt untucked and hanging over his shorts ... relevant because the alleged victim had told police Elvis and another man both approached her car and lifted their shirts to show they had guns tucked into their waistbands.

According to the police report, Dumervil had been driving a Land Rover on Saturday ... and following his friend who was driving a Mercedes ... when a woman in an Impala merged between the two cars ... upsetting both Dumervil and his friend.

The men allegedly got out of their cars ... approached the Impala and threatened the female driver while flashing their guns.

Dumervil -- a two-time Pro Bowl D end -- told police he didn't have a firearm ... but cops say they recovered a weapon in the glove compartment of the Land Rover.

28-year-old Dumervil was ultimately booked on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

10:04 PM PT -- Kris just posted a tweet that totally mocks Kanye West ... saying, "I'm up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ 'lucky I didn't have Jay drop me from the team' lol!"

The tweet is an obvious reference to the diss-track Kanye released ... in which he trashed Kris and bragged that he could have his BFF Jay-Z fire Kris whenever he wanted.

Kris Humphries doesn't need Kim Kardashian to make a living ... 'cause dude just signed a $24 MILLION contract with the Brooklyn Nets.

It's a 2-year deal according to ESPN ... which means Kris got one helluva raise -- his previous contract was a 1-year deal worth $8 mil.

Not bad ... considering the Nets are partially owned by Jay Z ... who's best friends with Kanye West ... who's still banging Kris' estranged wife.

Kanye also recently bragged that he could have J fire Kris whenever he wants.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant allegedly hit his mother in the face with his baseball cap ... and grabbed her by the shirt so hard that he ripped her bra ... this according to arrest documents obtained by TMZ.

The docs say ... cops were dispatched to Bryant's mother's home in DeSoto, Texas on July 14 at 1:47 PM after receiving a 911 call reporting an assault -- family violence.

Once cops arrived to the scene, Dez's mom Angela told cops she had gotten into an argument with Dez and demanded that he leave the home ... and that's when Dez got physical.

On the 911 call, Angela says, "My son has assaulted me. He's here now. he won't go home. I keep telling him to go, he won't go." You can clearly hear an argument in the background as Angela says, "I can't let him keep doing me like this. I'm gonna put an end to it today."

According to the documents, cops returned to Angela's home 2 days later and she complained of pain in her wrists, hands and arms ... and said her chest was sore from Dez pushing her.

Cops say they observed bruising in her upper arm. The docs list Dez Bryant as being 6'1", 198 pounds.

Bryant turned himself into police yesterday, and was booked for assault -- family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees just signed a deal worth roughly $100 million ... and he still REFUSES to let anyone else pump his gas. #fullserviceisforsnobs.

Brees was rollin' through New Orleans yesterday when he decided to fill up his SUV ... and whipped out his cell phone at the same time ... a cardinal sin at most gas stations because some people believe the static electricity from the phone can ignite gas vapors and cause an explosion!!

But before you freak out about Brees ... don't ... because according to the FCC, the cell phone thing is completely unsubstantiated.

The FCC website states, "Scientific testing has not established a dangerous link between wireless phones and fuel vapors."

"The wireless industry has done studies on the potential for wireless phones to create sparks that could possibly ignite flammable materials. The studies generally conclude that while it may be theoretically possible for a spark from a cell phone battery to ignite gas vapor under very precise conditions, there is no documented incident where the use of a wireless phone was found to cause a fire or explosion at a gas station."
