We've just obtained a photo of Andrew Gallo, who was driving the van that caused the accident that killed Nick Adenhart and two others.

Cops believe Gallo was driving under the influence and on a suspended license because of a prior DUI. He fled the scene and was arrested. Gallo could be booked on murder charges, along with vehicular manslaughter, hit-and-run and felony DUI.

Courtney, 20, a student at Cal State Fullerton was also a member of Alpha Chi Omega. We spoke to a member of her sorority, who was inconsolable.

During the Nick Adenhart press conference, a Fullerton PD spokesman said the man who caused the accident that killed Nick and two others was under the influence of alcohol at the time.

The spokesman also said he believes the man, 22-year-old Andrew Gallo, was also driving on a suspended license because of a prior DUI. The cop said Gallo will probably be booked on felony hit-and-run, felony DUI, vehicular manslaughter and possibly murder.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the family of Nick Adenhart just released a joint statement on the tragic death of the 22-year-old starting pitcher:

Angels Baseball this morning announced the passing of right-hander Nick Adenhart, the victim of a fatal automobile accident in Fullerton, CA. Two other individuals were also killed in the incident.

Adenhart, 22, was a passenger in a silver Mitsubishi along with three others. Fullerton Police reported the Mitsubishi proceeded through an intersection, when a van ran a red light and broadsided the vehicle. A female driver and male passenger in the Mitsubishi were dead when police and fire department personnel arrived. Adenhart died as the result of his injuries at UCI Medical Center earlier this morning. No other members of the Angels organization were involved.

Adenhart pitched a masterful six innings in last night's game against Oakland (6 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 5 SO), leaving with a 4-0 lead before a late-inning rally resulted in a 6-4 Angels defeat.

Cops say someone driving a minivan blew through a red light, causing the Mitsubishi that Adenhart and three others were riding in to hit a light pole. Three of the four people in the Mitsubishi were killed in the crash -- Nick, another man and a woman -- while the fourth person remains in the hospital.

Cops say the person driving the van fled the scene -- but was later caught and charged with felony hit-and-run. The suspect is also being treated for injuries in a local hospital.

We're told one of the other men killed in the crash was also affiliated with the Angels organization.

Nick was 22 years old.

In an event that seemed to harness the state of desperation surrounding boxing in America, the former superstar defeated Ginger the Chicken in a publicity event for a casino in Detroit.

Cops say Dung Le -- the alleged "good Samaritan" who returned Lance's ultra-expensive time trial bike to police after it was stolen off a rental truck in February -- wasn't acting out of the goodness of his heart.

According to police, Dung bought the $10,000 bike for a discounted price from a guy named Lee Crider -- knowing it was Armstrong's stolen ride. Cops say Dung didn't buy the bike with the intention of returning it to Lance. A few days later, cops say Dung thought better of it and returned the bike.

Both men were arrested Tuesday -- Lee was charged with felony burglary and grand theft. Dung was charged with possession of stolen property.

Roughly one billion super-excited kids spotted and rushed Rick Fox last night, begging the former NBA star to sign anything they could throw at him -- shoes, basketballs, paper ... even a $20 bill!!

The kids went absolutely insane, screaming, yelling, celebrating -- and Rick made sure to high five and sign for each and every one of them. Good dude.

It's only getting worse for the Los Angeles Clippers ... one of their alleged "stars" was busted for DUI early this morning.

Hours after the Clip Squad went down to the Lakers last night, Clipper power forward Zach Randolph was pulled over by California Highway Patrol officers on the 405 Freeway when they spotted Randolph's white Rolls Royce weaving in and out of his lane at around 2:25 AM.

Cops say when they approached the car, they "noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from within the vehicle" and proceeded to perform some field tests on the 6'9," 255 pound 27-year-old. Randolph failed those and was arrested for DUI.

Randolph, who already has a previous DUI bust under his belt, is currently behind bars -- being held without bail.

A spokesman for the Clippers tells us, "We'll reserve comment until we've had an opportunity to review the facts."

Mickey won the battle ... but may have lost a little more of whatever dignity he had left.

At this point, Todd Marinovich has more mug shots than football cards.

TMZ has learned the former USC superstar quarterback turned NFL bust was arrested for the billionth time in Newport Beach today -- this time for skipping out on drug court.

Marinovich was scheduled to face charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a hypodermic needle, and resisting arrest.

The 39-year-old was arrested outside of his mother's home and hauled off to jail -- where he's currently being held with no bail.

Plaxico Burress isn't the New York Giants' problem anymore.

The Giants released the troubled wide receiver today, after suspending him without pay for the final four games of last season after his arrest.

Everyone is expecting Michael Vick to return to the football field after his incarceration, but he has other plans -- as in floorplans.

Vick's lawyer announced in Bankruptcy court today that the former QB has a construction job lined up after his prison release and Vick will work a regular 40 hour work week. Further details about wages or the duration of his new career were unavailable.

After being the highest paid player in the league, Vick was suspended indefinitely from the NFL after his 2007 indictment. The NFL Commissioner has said he will review Vick's status after he is released.
