Jose Canseco Takes a Shot at Comedy
It's good to see that Jose Canseco has a sense of humor about steroid use -- because all the MLB players he outed in his book "Juiced" probably don't feel the same way.
This clip is from a failed reality show pilot, where people would win a day with Jose and could do anything they wanted with him. The only guy who got the chance decided to make Canseco do stand-up comedy -- and the former slugger just ended up looking like a huge prick.

Sure, Ashton Kutcher has coached his Harvard Westlake High School football team to an impressive 4-2 record, he brings intensity to the field, and he helps lure legends like Tommy Lasorda onto the sidelines. Phelps Gets High on $5,000 Pot
Michael Phelps has a serious chip on his shoulder -- and even more in his pockets.
Captain Speedo is on a serious mission to become a respected world-class poker player ... and he's off to a pretty good start. Phelps hit the poker room at the Bellagio in Vegas the other day, where he strapped on his iPod, cracked open a Bud Lite, and ponied up at a no-limit Texas Hold 'em game.
We're told at one point, Phelps raked in a pot worth around $5,000! But there's more...
Over the weekend, Phelps entered a No Limit tourney at Caesars Palace, where he placed 9th out of 187 entrants. In fact, he did so well, Phelps was even awarded a cheesy gold medallion. Gotta love that.
Clippers Star Gets Shot with Kate Hudson
Yesterday was a good day for Baron Davis -- not only did the Clipper learn he won't need surgery for his torn finger ligament, he also went home from a party with Kate Hudson!
This just in -- Kate and Baron are friends from back in the day. The two went to the same super-fancy, super-expensive private high school together in Santa Monica.

Tom About to Pass Gisele the Big Rock
Patriots fans might not want to read on.
A source tells the New York Post Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen could be ready to tie the knot, despite their protestations to the contrary. Adding insult to injury, the reception could be at Tavern on the Green ... as in the color of the Patriots' most-hated rivals, the NY Jets.
"They were recently there, and Brady had a long chat with Broadway Joe Namath," said a spy, though it's a little unclear what B'way Joe has to do with all this. Their reps are totally mum.
Tom, I'm Back, Can You Come Get My Bags?
While Tom Brady sits at home waiting for a call from the Bionics Research Institute, his lovely Gisele Bundchen was spotted at LAX having returned with fresh news from exotic, far-away lands.

Joba was booked for DUI, speeding and having an open container in his car -- he will be formally charged on Monday.
Chamberlain has since apologized for his "error in judgment."

Harvey To Blame For MLB Screwup
A funny thing happened on the way to your local bar last night. The pivotal ALCS Game 6 meeting between the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays was replaced with the "Steve Harvey Show" -- which may have actually caused you to drink more.
A large portion of the 1st inning was missed -- which means baseball fans' first glimpse of the game had the Rays beating the Sox 1-0.
The problem was addressed and TBS explained the incident like this: "Two circuit breakers in our Atlanta transmission operations tripped causing the master router and its backup - which are necessary to transmit any incoming feed outbound - to shut down."
Game 7 is tonight -- unless of course TBS decides to run a "Bill Engvall Show" marathon.

Dodger Fans Beer Batter Cops During Game 5
One rowdy baseball fan was bleeding a hell of a lot more than Dodger Blue Wednesday night, when two cops opened a can of whoop-ass after being drenched in a beer-throwing incident -- and it was all caught on tape.
Here's how it went down: During the final game of the N.L.C.S., a guy in the stands was wearing a S.F. Giants hat and got it ripped off his head (allegedly by a guy dressed up like Manny Ramirez). Rowdiness ensued and the cops -- LAPD uniformed officers who were off duty and working for the Dodgers -- responded.
As the cops confronted the dreadlocked perp, some moron threw a full cup of beer at the officers leaving them soaking wet. When the cops turned to find the beer-thrower, another moron from a different section heaved more beer at the cops.
That's when the uniformed cops decided to enforce the anti-moron law -- grabbing the man they believe threw the second beer and dragging him down the concrete stairs. The tape stops, and by the time the shooter hit record again, back-ups were there.
An LAPD spokesman reiterated the officers were off duty and no one reported the incident to the Department. No immediate comment from the Dodgers.
