Sources close to Angelina tell TMZ, it all started after her appearance on TNA last week -- Angie had the most incredible time getting choked out by a smoking hot blonde chick ... and now she's hooked on suplexes and sleeper holds.

According to sources, she's already taking her new career ambitions extremely seriously -- in fact, the former "Jersey" girl is all set to begin training next Tuesday at the Independent Wrestling Federation in West Paterson, NJ.

It starts out pretty basic -- holds, how to take a fall, etc. -- but the schedule is pretty grueling ... four days a week.

So far, no word on any long-term deal with TNA or WWE.

Shad's wife Siliana tells TMZ her husband did not resist when a cop tried to bust him for jaywalking as he made his way to the Arnold Fitness EXPO. She says Shad got into a kneeling position to show he was not resisting ... but the cops shoved his face into the dirt anyway.

Siliana tells us Shad told her he felt like he was "being profiled" and "treated like a n****r."

Former UFC champ Josh Barnett, who was with Gaspard at the time, seemed to back up Shad's version of events on his Twitter page, posting last night, "Shad Gaspard arrested because a Columbus officer abuses his authority. False jaywalking charge + attitude turns to handcuffs and tackling."

According to law enforcement, Gaspard was arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Sources close to the NY Knicks star and his wife tell TMZ they have no interest in plunking down "$30,000 a month for an apartment" in Manhattan ... no matter how shmancy it is.

Melo just got a $65 million contract extension, so money isn't the issue -- instead it's all about a backyard and space for the couple's 3-year-old son to play. TMZ has obtained the police report detailing what went down the night the Oakland A's outfielder (and Charlie Sheen's baseball buddy) was popped for DUI. According to the report, cops observed Crisp and another vehicle driving down the street -- but observed Crisp driving erratically, so they pulled him over.

Cops say the driver of the other car pulled over as well. And that's when police asked Crisp if he knew the driver of the other vehicle. Crisp responded .... they were Secret Service. Cops later determined they were private security.

According to the report, Crisp blew a .13 when he was arrested. Crisp told police he had one glass of champagne and two glasses of wine and that he just had a root canal.

Bisping was hanging out at a bar called Jackson's on George in Sydney, Australia around 1:00 AM on February 27 ... when a female patron recognized Michael from his fight and asked if she could punch him in the gut.

Bisping obliged -- and moments later, the woman asked if her boyfriend could punch the UFC fighter in the stomach too. Once again, he obliged ... but this time, he wanted to hit back.

Bisping let the guy hit him a couple of times -- and barely flinched. But when Michael hit back ... Bisping fired off a BRUTAL shot ... knocking the patron backwards. Then Michael punched the guy a second time.

The Oakland A's outfielder -- who's in AZ for Cactus League spring training -- was pulled over by Scottsdale PD while driving his 2009 Rolls Royce Phantom.

The A's tell TMZ, Coco "was arrested and detained early this morning under the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol."

Team officials say Coco got out of jail this morning and showed up on time for pregame drills.

The A's didn't mention what, if any, disciplinary action Coco would face.

BTW -- A couple weeks ago Coco was in Los Angeles hanging with Charlie Sheen. It's not what you think though ... just a little batting practice.

UPDATE: Cops say Coco was stopped after officers noticed him "failing to stay in one lane of traffic."

Cops say, "After the stop, the officer observed signs of intoxication on the driver. After Mr. Crisp agreed to, and performed field sobriety tests, he was arrested without further incident."

Williams' rep released a statement explaining, "Monday Serena Williams underwent emergency treatment at Cedars for a hematoma she suffered as a result of treatment for a more critical situation."

The statement continues, "Last week, Serena suffered from a pulmonary embolism [a blood clot in the lungs] which was discovered upon her return to L.A. She had been in New York for doctor appointments for the ongoing issues with her foot."

TMZ has learned ... Ray will be paired up with Anna Trebunskaya.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Steelers superstar Hines Ward will dance with Kym Johnson.
