Eva/Tony Divorce -- He Wanted To File; Denies Sex

Published | Updated

Sources tell TMZ ... the divorce between Eva Longoria and Tony Parker was in the works for at least a week before Eva filed, contrary to the story Eva's people are telling. And Tony denies he ever had sex with an ex-teammate's wife.

Sources connected with Tony tell TMZ ... Tony did indeed have a "sexting relationship" with Erin Barry, the estranged wife of former San Antonio Spur Brent Barry, but it ended months ago. The sources insist, "They never had a physical relationship."

And sources connected with Tony tell TMZ ... Tony and Eva were well aware that the divorce would be filed. We're told Tony was planning on filing for divorce in San Antonio, Texas because it was more convenient, but, "Eva talked him out of it because she wanted to file in Los Angeles."

Sources also tell us -- contrary to the statement Eva's rep made to TMZ -- Eva not only knew she was filing for divorce, but it was timed to coincide with the Us Weekly interview.

As for why Tony and Eva are telling different stories about the divorce, a close friend of Tony's says it's simple: "She was into the whole PR thing. He wasn't."

Eva's people say Tony's story is untrue ... with one source telling TMZ, "Eva and Tony were still talking about working out the marriage up until the morning she filed."

Footage of Seagal training Machida has surfaced on the web -- which we've titled, "Career Kill."

Pacquiao Sued Over Music ... To the Tune of $10 Mil

Manny Pacquiao just got hit with a $10 million lawsuit -- but not for breaking anyone's eye socket ... rather, because he allegedly screwed over a company that hired him to record music.

RBM Group International filed a lawsuit today against Manny in L.A. County Superior Court -- alleging the pound-for-pound boxing champ signed a contract in 2009 in which he promised to record 12 songs ... but never did.

In the docs, RBM claims they wrote Pacquiao a $40,000 check in October of '09 -- which he deposited -- in return for the first two songs ... but the boxer has refused to record the music.

RBM claims they're out of pocket $200,000 ... and they've lost profits in the amount of $10 mil.

Calls to Manny's people have not been returned.

Rick added, "[Brent] is going to be devastated. I can't even imagine him going through this ... the divorce was hard enough news."

FBI's Cam Newton Probe Expands to Auburn Booster

Published | Updated

The FBI investigation into the cash for Cam Newton scandal now involves a guy who gave more than $1 million to Auburn University ... and was recently arrested in a bribery sting.

According to sources connected to the probe ... FBI agents looking into the Newton recruiting controversy are also asking about Milton McGregor -- a dog track owner arrested last month for allegedly bribing Alabama politicians to vote pro gambling.

We're told agents asked someone connected to the Newton case if he was familiar with McGregor or the bribery scandal.

It's unclear what, if any, direct connection McGregor has to Newton. Back in 2008, McGregor did donate a million bucks toward construction of a new arena at Auburn.

McGregor did not return a call for comment.

UPDATE 4:00PM PST: Milton McGregor's attorney tells TMZ his client has "never had any contact – direct or indirect – with Cam Newton, Cecil Newton, Cam’s father; Kenny Rogers or anyone purporting to represent Cam Newton." He also says McGregor has never compensated student athletes at Auburn or any other school.
