Sonnen -- who's fighting Anderson "The Spider" Silva tonight -- tells us people have been "unsuccessful" in baiting him into street fights in the past ... insisting that he "turns the other cheek" ... a different approach than the one recently taken by ex-UFC star Roger Huerta.

As TMZ first reported -- Rodman was riding shotgun in a Range Rover while traveling down I-95 in Fort Lauderdale, FL when the Range busted a tire and flipped three times.

Bonds -- who faces 11 felony counts of perjury and obstruction of justice for his testimony during a 2003 MLB steroid investigation -- has been ordered to appear in federal court in San Francisco on March 21, 2011.

Bonds allegedly tested positive for steroids three times before his 2003 testimony -- but claimed in 2003 that he never knowingly used the substance.

... and dude means business -- because last night at LAX, Cena got on the horn with our photog crew .... and demanded they shoot some kick-ass footage ... saying, "No f**king excuses. You're on my watch now and if I don't have an excellent show tomorrow, you're all fired!"

Batista has been in San Francisco training with MMA legend Cesar Gracie -- and sources close to the fighter tell us Batista is moving significantly closer to finalizing his contract to finally get in the ring by "early next year."

As we previously reported, Batista is trying to work out a deal with Strikeforce and there are rumblings that he could fight his former WWE foe Bobby Lashley.

TMZ spoke with Patrick "Deep Dish" Bertoletti -- who placed 3rd in this year's big 4th of July hot dog eating competition -- and dude tells us, "I think the charges against [Kobayashi] were somewhat legit, and he should have been convicted on at least the resisting arrest charges."

As we previously reported, TK was arrested during the July 4th eat-off in New York when he rushed the stage AFTER it had ended ... and then refused to leave.

Bertoletti -- who recently ate 38 Mars Bars in 5 minutes -- said Kobayashi's stage-rushing antics reminded him of "a crazed ex-girlfriend attempting to stop a wedding" ... but laments, "If anything Kobayashi brought more publicity to a somewhat boring hot dog contest."

We're told cops are interested in interviewing everybody who was present during the Saturday morning brawl -- including Huerta and the man he knocked out.

Law enforcement sources tell us so far cops have not identified the man Huerta knocked out -- or the woman who THAT guy attacked ... but officials are working on it.

As we previously reported, Huerta claims he only launched his attack AFTER the other guy threw a punch at him ... and all of that came after the unknown man socked a woman in the back of the head.

In a phone conversation just moments ago, Huerta told us he tried to remain calm early Saturday morning when he watched some random "huge guy" punch a girl in the head in the middle of the street ... explaining, “I just don’t think that it's right to hit a woman. Period.”

Huerta tells us, "I approached the man calmly and said, “Do you know what you just did? You just knocked out this girl."

But Huerta claims the other guy responded, "F*ck you, f*ck these bitches, I'll knock out any f*ckin' bitch that I wanna f*ckin' knock out, I’ll knock your f*cking bitch ass out.”

Huerta added, "... and as he's saying this, he's taking off his shirt ... and at that point I was like, alright.'"

Huerta insists that he didn't throw the first punch -- and only reacted when the other guy "started swinging at me" ... and we all know what happened next.

"I got the better of him and I left," Huerta said.

The 27-year-old explained, "If that was my mom, if that was my sister, my spouse, anyone … I would’ve wanted someone to step in and do something about it.”

Dude also reveals a few things about himself that you're not gonna wanna miss!!

Takeru was in court moments ago to face charges of resisting arrest, trespassing and obstructing governmental administration -- after he bum-rushed the stage at this year's Nathan's International Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Luckily for the elastic stomached hot dog demolisher, the sweet taste of justice crossed his lips today, after his lawyer says the judge decided to "basically dismiss" the case.

The other "Iron" man is Mike Landrum -- a former professional fighter who claims he coined the nickname "Iron Mike" before he turned pro in 1983. Tyson started fighting professionally in 1985.

Landrum has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles, claiming he owns the trademark to the nickname "Iron Mike" -- and therefore, Tyson infringed on his rights by using the nickname throughout his boxing career.

Landrum -- who's representing himself in the case -- tells us he was "hindered from getting any major title fights or sponsorships because of the name confusion."

For the record -- Landrum's record was 6-4 as a pro.

Dana tells TMZ, "In no way do I condone street fighting, but when a guy puts his hands on a woman he deserves to be knocked the f*ck out. Good for Roger."

As TMZ first reported, Huerta beat the crap out of some dude in Austin, Texas last weekend during a street brawl -- after the guy appeared to sucker punch some girl in the back of the head.

27-year-old Huerta -- who was once featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated -- was in front of a bar in Austin around 2 AM on Saturday morning ... when some other people began fighting. Roger was near the scuffle ... when he saw one of the men involved punch a female who was standing near the ruckus.

Once Huerta sees the woman collapse to the ground -- he instantly tries to confront the attacker saying, "You just punched a f**kin' girl."

Moments later, Huerta takes off his shirt ... slams his hat to the ground ... and rushes after the man.

Chaos ensues and people scramble after the fighters, blocking the camera -- but seconds later ... a shirtless Huerta can be seen finishing his attack on the other man ... who is sprawled out on the street.

People rush in to aid the bloody man on the ground -- who eventually gets off the pavement -- as Huerta walks away from the battle ground.

Austin PD tells TMZ that officers were called to the scene -- but so far, no arrests have been made.

Despite recent reports, sources close to Rachel tell us she and Tiger are not getting married, and Rachel is not pregnant with a little Tiger cub. We're told they haven't spoken to each other in months.

But according to our sources, Rachel recently heard from Tiger's attorneys because they were concerned about her doing "Celebrity Rehab." We're told they called to make sure Tiger was not on the tip of Rachel's tongue -- she's not allowed to mention him publicly under the terms of that $10 million deal she got.

As we previously reported, the woman had filed a lawsuit against the Washington Redskins star -- saying Albert refused to "emotionally and financially support" her after allegedly knocking her up during Super Bowl week in Miami back in February. She wants $10 mil for the "intentional infliction of emotional distress."

Now, Haynesworth and his lawyer Brett Kimmel are going on the offensive -- claiming the case should be dismissed because even though the woman may be upset at Haynesworth, she doesn't have a legal claim against him.
