Lindsey Vonn to Rappers: 'That's the Real Bling'
Lindsey Vonn is the only chick with better bling than Jay-Z, Flavor Flav, Lil Wayne and Lil Jon combined ... and she's not afraid to show it off.
The U.S. gold and bronze medalist was out in L.A. yesterday, where she proudly showed off her new heavyweight jewelry and proclaimed, "That's the real bling."
As for partying like a rapper -- she'll leave that to the Canadian women's hockey team.

Admiral Ackbar Ignites Backlash at Ole Miss
Admiral Ackbar is causing a serious disturbance in the force at Ole Miss -- where several Rebel fans are threatening to abandon the school if the alien leader becomes the new mascot.
The masterminds behind the Admiral Ackbar mascot campaign tell TMZ they've been contacted by angry students, threatening to transfer if the legendary rebel shot caller is voted to become the new face of Ole Miss.

As we previously reported, the school recently voted to bring in a new mascot to replace the old, controversial rebel mascot ... and Ackbar has emerged as an early favorite.

New Orleans Saints Caught in Clothing War
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is named in a brand new lawsuit, all centered around the motivational phrase he used to propel his team to win the Super Bowl -- "Finish Strong."
After the Saints won the big game, Reebok began making shirts featuring the catchphrase -- problem is, another clothing company claims they already own the trademark to those words.
According to legal papers filed in Illinois, the Finish Strong clothing company claims Brees only started using the phrase after he read the Finish Strong book, penned by the company's founder.
Now, Finish Strong is going after Reebok -- claiming they violated their trademark ... and they want the judge to make Reebok fork over every cent they made off the "Finish Strong" slogan.
Calls to Reebok were not returned.
Scotty Lago Conspiracy Theory -- Up in Smoke
Scotty Lago -- with the help of Michael Phelps -- has hatched a conspiracy theory about those not-really-salacious pics that got Scotty booted from the Olympics ... but it doesn't hold up to us.
Lago told us that Phelps told a friend of his about the time when an Asian journalist tried to kiss Phelps on the cheek for a photo. That journalist was Lainey Liu, who runs a site called laineygossip.com -- and she wrote about the encounter with Phelps about a week ago and posted the photo above (left).
Lago's run-in was infamously documented (right) and a quick comparison of the two women shows very little similarity to us -- except of course for ... well, you know.
Question is ...

Scotty Lago's Olympic Conspiracy Theory
Scotty Lago thinks the woman who got down on her knees in Vancouver and simulated kissing his crotch -- the infamous photo that got him kicked out of Vancouver -- was a set-up, because she tried to do basically the same thing to Michael Phelps.
The bronze medal-winning snowboarder was super chatty on his way into "Jimmy Kimmel Live," claiming the chick who kissed his medal and then went South had also approached Michael Phelps and tried dragging him into a make-out session.
As for the Olympic Committee making him leave Vancouver before the closing ceremony -- Scotty says he's pissed.

The Kansas City Royals have selected the next person to play Sluggerrr the mascot -- and TMZ has learned the super fan is training hard to avoid the same wiener-related drama that's plaguing his predecessor.
The man donning the lion costume is Rob Montepare -- and we're told he's already made plans to enter a mascot boot camp run by the guy who played the original Phillie Phanatic, Dave Raymond.
Raymond tells us he plans on teaching Montepare the ways of the air gun along with other drills that emphasize mascot safety.
For some reason, we called the San Diego Chicken for comment and he gave us the following random statement: "I don't handle air gun weaponry."

Bubba the Love Sponge Accused of Hate Call
A professional wrestler says someone claiming to be radio host Bubba the Love Sponge called her at home and unleashed a hateful, n-word laced attack ... and now she wants the phone records to prove it was him.
The woman who received the call is TNA wrestling star Awesome Kong -- aka Kia Stevens. We're told she and Bubba have been feuding since January -- when Bubba said "F*** Haiti" on his radio show in the wake of the tragedy.
Now, Stevens has filed documents in Florida state court, in which she states that someone claiming to be Bubba called her from a private number two weeks ago and said, "You'll be dead like all those other n***ers in Haiti you fat black bitch ... F**K HAITI!"
Stevens wants a judge to allow her access to Bubba's phone records so she can see for herself if Bubba was behind the call ... and set the stage for a lawsuit against him.
But Bubba says Stevens' allegations are "one hundred percent false" and that "Ms. Stevens attributing outrageous racist statement and physical threats to me is disgusting."
Broncos RB Off the Hook in Assault Case
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno will not face charges for allegedly punching a college kid in the face this weekend -- TMZ has learned cops have officially closed the case.
Moreno, a former star at the University of Georgia, was accused of punching an 18-year-old student at a bar in Athens late Saturday night.
But according to a rep from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, the alleged victim does not want to press charges -- and cops have decided there is not enough evidence to pursue a case against Knowshon ... so they've decided to close the case.
