Megan Thee Stallion's beef with Nicki Minaj has invoked a famous law aimed to protect people from sex predators -- and the father of the girl it's named after isn't happy about it.

Richard Kanka -- whose daughter, Megan Kanka, was murdered in the '90s by a sex predator who, at the time, wasn't legally required to identify himself in his neighborhood, and who Megan's Law is inspired by -- is fuming over MTS casually dropping his daughter's name in "Hiss" ... the diss track that kicked off this new feud between her and NM.

He tells TMZ that Megan dragging his late daughter's name into the expletive-riddled song aimed at Nicki is as disrespectful as it gets, from his POV -- and he notes that MTS actually appearing to shed light on the law, which she does, doesn't change his sour feeling.

Kanka tells us that using his daughter's name in such a graphic/offensive manner was highly offensive to the pain his daughter and family felt ... and while he says he hasn't heard the track with his own two ears just yet, he has read the lyrics -- and it's still a no-go for him.

For the record, the lyrics in question are: "These hoes don't be mad at Megan [referring to herself], these hoes mad at Megan's Law" -- a reference Meg was using to take a shot at Nicki's husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender in New York.

A bit of a morbid history lesson ... the bill that turned into Megan's Law came into effect a month after the brutal murder and rape of Richard's 7-year-old daughter -- devastation Richard still lives with to this day ... so, understandably, it's a deeply sensitive subject.

He does admit Megan's music (rap) isn't his cup of tea ... so the only way he found out about it was when one of his kids told him. RK says he still chose not to listen though -- and instead read the "Hiss" lyrics to see what exactly was said about his daughter. Like we said, the guy still takes offense over it ... even though some see MTS's use of it positively.

There's also this ... Richard tells TMZ that the song left such a bad taste in his mouth that he's actually considering looking into his legal options to see if Meg's track went too far.

Unfortunately for Richard ... there's probably not much he can do on that front. Artists have liberties when it comes to wordplay/referencing big moments historically -- which is exactly what Megan did here ... so even though he's mad, a threat of legal action feels empty.

Anyway, this beef has only escalated since Meg threw the first shot -- Nicki's fired back with her own diss track, "Big Foot," and people have mixed reactions to it ... good and bad.

Kanye West was NOT in a chatty mood to kick off the week -- especially when one of our photogs asked him about Bianca Censori ... which ended with a confiscation and a lecture.

Our camera person was one of several people trailing Ye Monday as he made his way over to Hollywood Blvd. for Charlie Wilson's Walk of Fame ceremony -- and she asked him about several reports claiming he's "controlling" his wife and/or banning her from social media.

We'll admit ... it's not the most subtle opening question, and perhaps unartfully phrased ... as we asked if Bianca had "free will." That immediately set Kanye off, he snatched her phone and started verbally dressing her down.

What follows is a good 3-plus minutes of Ye berating our photog and grilling her about her question -- which he seems to have thought was totally off-limits and wildly disrespectful.

Poor wording aside ... Bianca's perceived freedom in her marriage has been a much-reported topic, so it's a fair question.

Still, it's clearly one that triggers Kanye, and as you can hear from this tirade, he thinks it's disrespectful to raise the issue "to come ask a grown-ass super-hero!!!"

Yep, it was that kinda lecture ... and there's no doubt Ye went over the top to make his point here.

He does end by offering our photog a job at twice the pay! Far as we know, she has not accepted. 😅

Lil Wayne's controversial comment about Drake getting unfair treatment as a light-skinned lad isn't all that controversial ... at least, from Kevin Gates' viewpoint.

As a fellow delegate of the fairer-skin nation, KG says Wayne's observation is not only valid, but folks like himself and Drizzy have it harder getting people to take them seriously!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with the Louisiana rap star out in NYC, where he was feeling the love from the Empire State, but said the light-skin hate isn't limited to just being rich and famous.

Wayne recently told Richard Sherman he has direct experience in the colorism debate -- he admitted he used to hate on lighter-shaded kids during his youth, but Kevin says he's made a habit outta laughing in the face of adversity ... so hate away!!!

KG's feeling mighty ceremonious these days -- he just released his 4th studio album "The Ceremony," but also addressed his promo photo shoot ... which folks called a little "zesty."

Jess Hilarious is officially in at "The Breakfast Club" -- and her announcement is heavy on the petty, as it highlights several podcasters who accused her of jumping the gun when she first announced it a month ago.

The Baltimore-born comedian made the grand reveal, for real this time, on Monday morning with a video trailer ... using the song "Sirius," made popular by the Michael Jordan era Chicago Bulls.

Jess With the Mess went viral this past Christmas Eve when a video of her announcing the new gig hit the web and the radio silence gave her opps the opp to sound off.

Benzino has some new insults for Eminem following Slim Shady's "Doomsday Pt. 2" snipes ... and just like she was on Em's track, Coi Leray's caught in the crossfire again.

Taking over Jay-Z's "Where I From Beat," Benzino released a new record titled "Vulturius" -- a play on his notion that Eminem is a supreme culture vulture -- and he didn't hold back one bit.

The song blasts Em for his past drug use and beef too soft for hip hop ... naming the times he dissed Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson and Britney Spears.

Benzino turned the temperature up even more -- advising Em's ex-wife Kim Scott to sue Marshall in the same manner Cassie hit Diddy with a damaging lawsuit!!!

Plenty more potshots where that came from ... Benzino also teased the Detroit rapper for not "spinning the block" after his best friend Proof was shot and killed in 2006.

Em made several gay jokes on his "Doomsday Pt. 2" track last week but Benzino turned the tables around and questioned Em's sexuality all the same.

Slim Shady's not known to be publicly on the scene with women like many rappers, and Benzino reminded everyone that Em and Joyner Lucas once attempted a stunt years ago -- with a track titled "What If I Was Gay?"

Chrisean Rock will have to continue her social media journey with a slightly smaller audience ... 200,000 of her fans hit the unfollow button over the weekend after she debuted her huge Blueface tattoo portrait on her face!!!

The controversial reality star popped out with the cheek-hugging face tat on Sunday -- and reactions were overwhelmingly negative.

Everyone knows BF and Chrisean's relationship is wildly unpredictable at this point -- she just moved back into his home after an explosive fight -- and thousands of her diehard fans reached their limit and separated themselves on IG.

Rock started Sunday with 5.3 million followers and opened today with 5.1 million ... not a good look for any social media influencer any way you want to spend it.

Nicki Minaj is firing back at Megan Thee Stallion in the form of a diss track of her own, the sinisterly titled "Big Foot" ... a direct response to Meg's recently released "Hiss" track, but it's not exactly getting rave reviews.

Over a bouncy piano beat, Nicki digs deep into her gossip bag and unloads on Meg with references to her late mother and ex-boyfriend Pardison Fontaine -- but was sure to open the track firing back at Meg for the "Megan's Law" dig at Nicki's husband Kenneth Petty.

Nicki raps, "This lil' beggin' whore talkin' 'bout Megan's Law/For a free beat, you could hit Megan raw (Ooh) If you a ghostwriter, party [Pardi] in Megan jaw ... Shots thrown, but I still ain't let Megan score!!!

Of course, Meg's "Hiss" ripped Nicki and her Kenneth with the line ... "These hoes don't be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan's Law."

Since then, Nicki's been tweeting up a firestorm, adding several posts targeting Meg's mom, which was also brought up on "Big Foot" ... where she introduces a psychobabble séance to rap, "Lyin' on your dead mama" multiple times.

Nicki also seems to be under the impression that Meg’s Roc Nation label prez Desiree Perez is running a campaign to erase her place in history .... and heartily bragged about her song climbing iTunes with “no promo.”

Fans determined that was a lie ... her 72-hour social media spree is like the BIGGEST promo ever and even Nicki's most loyal Barbz have been admitting their Queen didn't gag anyone ... 'cept herself!!!

Several more trending topics such as "Stupid Hoe" and "Now Nicki" have also been blazing social media.

Basically, the Internet reaction is ... back to the drawing board, Nicki.

Eminem had a helluva day in Santa Clara on Sunday cheering on his beloved Lions ... getting into squabbles with 49ers fans -- before sweating out a heartbreaking loss.

The rap legend had suite seats for the NFC Championship Game at Levi's Stadium ... and the day was filled with a roller coaster full of emotions for the Detroit native.

Throughout the afternoon, he was seen chirpin' at San Francisco faithful in his Lions T-shirt -- even flipping off a man who was decked out in a Brock Purdy jersey.

Later in the evening, after Detroit went up on the Niners, 21-7, he was spotted going crazy in his luxury box.

However, when the Lions began to blow their lead, Em could be seen looking super stressed.

Ultimately, Detroit fell, 34-31 ... but Marshall wasn't too sour about it all, he took to X to thank his favorite team for the great year, before promising they'd make a return trip to the NFCCG.

Snoop Dogg has very different feelings about Donald Trump than he did, say, 7 or 8 years ago -- when he was joking about his death -- 'cause now ... it's all love for the ex-Prez.

The rapper briefly shared his latest thoughts on DT during an interview with the Sunday Times -- where he was asked what his read was on the guy heading into the 2024 election. Snoop was pretty candid ... and it seems helping out SD's pals goes a long way in his book.

Snoop says, "Donald Trump? He ain't done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris." Harris co-founded Death Row Records way back in the day ... and Trump pardoned him in early 2021 after he'd spent years in behind bars.

It's because of that that Snoop now says ... "So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump." He doesn't say much else on the topic, it seems, but this is already a lot.

You'll recall ... Snoop has trashed Trump in the past, especially at the start of his presidency in 2017 -- when he twice mocked/joked about the prospect of DT's death within his art.

First, there was a music video Snoop did at the time for a song called "Lavender" -- which ended with a clown-version of Trump and Snoop firing a fake gun at him in a street. There was also the album cover for 'Make America Crip Again' ... which depicted DT as DOA.

Megan Thee Stallion seems unbothered by the beef blowing up with Nicki Minaj ... 'cause she went out partying Saturday -- and put some risqué dance moves on display.

Here's the deal ... videos are circulating online showing Meg -- big blonde wig and tiny white top on -- partying in L.A. And, she got all eyes and phones trained on her when she started grinding on fellow singer Victoria Monét.

Check out the vid -- MTS' slowly grooves back to VM ... who you can see's getting ready for the ride of her life. Victoria's in her pimp era BTW with the pinstripe suit and fur coat hanging from her shoulders. Straight gangster!

Monét gets about 30 good seconds of twerking, big smiles on both their faces while Megan shook her moneymaker.

BTW ... the dance has Megan and Victoria fans speculating -- and they're hoping a collab's in the work. No word on that yet ... but it looked like an awesome time for the stars regardless.

Definitely a light moment for Megan ... one she could use given she's in the middle of an intense feud with Nicki Minaj.

Here’s the deal ... Nicki was up late Saturday night when she announced on X she was dropping her new song “Bigfoot” Sunday afternoon. The song’s already generated tons of buzz with Nicki playing part of it during an Instagram live session Friday night when she seemed to take shots at Meg.

Among the lyrics ... “Bad bitch, she like 6 foot, I call her big foot / The bitch fell off I said get up on your good foot,” -- many speculated she was making fun of Megan since Tory Lanez shot her in the foot back in July 2020.

Nicki added even more fuel to those rumors by posting a pic of Thee Stallion looking concerned with the announcement ... so, it seemed like the whole song was gonna be one big MTS BBQ.

But, Nicki tossed some cold water on that hot rumor ... responding to one article in the comments, "Who tf said “diss track”?????? don’t play tonight. Fix your tweet."

It's easy to see where lots of people got confused ... since Nicki's basically been taking shots ever since Meg put out "Hiss" -- calling Thee Stallion a "disgusting serpent" and cracking a joke about her mom who passed away in 2019.

As we reported ... all of this was in response to what appeared to be a dig at Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, when MTS rapped about "Megan's Law" ... a federal law that makes it mandatory for registered sex offenders -- like Kenneth -- to have their info made public.

The song's coming out at 3 PM PT ... just a couple hours away -- so grab those headphones and popcorn. This feud just keeps growing.

Chrisean Rock's clearly committed to working things out with her on-again, off-again beau Blueface ... and she's expressing that commitment in a very artistic way.

The 23-year-old mother of Blueface's child got what appears to be a tattoo of her currently imprisoned man ... sharing a video of the process to Instagram Sunday morning.

The vid -- underscored by Blue's hit song "Pop It" -- takes fans from the early stencil to the portrait completely shaded in ... and, it's pretty dang realistic -- capturing BF's essence really well. At this point, it's unclear whether it's a permanent or temporary tat.

She captioned the clip, "#freeblueface free my Daddy I love you papa."

It's the latest in a series of steps CR's taken to seemingly reconcile with Blueface. Just last week, Chrisean revealed she'd moved back into Blue's house -- a super jarring development for fans who remember just how bad things were between the two of them back in December.

As we reported ... Rock claimed Blue punched her in the face in his driveway back in December -- with Chrisean hopping on IG live to tell her side of the story to her followers.

There's been a ton more vitriol between the co-parents ... Blue said Chrisean neglected their child to have sex while Chrisean said her ex-man didn't help her at all with the child after images of her not supporting her baby's head at Walmart went viral.

It seems adversity has brought them closer though ... Blueface's stuck behind bars for a probation violation, and he's not scheduled for release until July -- and, Chrisean's clearly supporting him in every way she can.

7:19 PM PT -- Sergio's trying to clear up his statements ... saying he loves Nicki and Megan, and the comments he made during Minaj's IG Live were "taken the wrong way." He added he didn't mean to mock anyone, and apologized to those people he may have offended.

Nicki Minaj has a controversial ally in her war against Megan Thee Stallion ... Vogue's entertainment director.

Here's the deal ... Nicki took to Instagram Live Friday, to fire back after Meg seemed to diss NM and her husband Kenneth Petty on her new track "Hiss."

Tons of people were commenting on the vid ... including Sergio Kletnoy -- a user with almost 60k social media followers who's also Vogue's entertainment director.

Among his duties ... booking all celeb interviews and photo shoots for the mag and all its video franchises -- basically, saying he's the main point of contact for getting celebs to work with Vogue which makes his comments about Meg, a shooting victim, pretty dicey.

The ones we've seen ... a series of foot emojis, clearly in reference to MTS' shooting at the hands of Tory Lanez followed by "Not 'fragment foot' lol not even a whole foot?" Nicki called Megan a "bullet fragment foot bitch" during the session.

Another interesting note about these comments ... Nicki was on the cover of Vogue just two months ago -- which seems like it would've been set up by Kletnoy based on his duties -- and the duo have taken a pic together as well.

As we previously reported ... the two rappers have been going back and forth since the release of "Hiss" with Nicki even cracking a joke about Megan's mother who passed away in 2019.

We've reached out to Vogue for comment ... so far, no word back.

Nicki Minaj’s not messing around in her beef with Megan Thee Stallion ... cracking a joke about MTS’ mother who passed away a few years ago.

Here's the deal ... the 41-year-old hopped on the streaming platform Stationhead Friday to take a few more shots at MTS -- the culmination of a day full of back-and-forth between the two rap icons.

The rant started off pretty standard -- saying Megan threw people under the bus like DaBaby and Tory Lanez ... and she included Thee Stallion's mother in that category as well.

Minaj then expanded, adding, "You better go conjure up your mother and apologize. That's disgusting."

The choice of words is important here ... cause MTS' mom passed away from brain cancer back in March 2019, and Megan's talked a ton about how her mother influenced her.

Back in 2021 -- while accepting the Glamour Woman of the Year award with tears streaming down her face -- she said, "I want to thank my mom because she taught me how to be the woman that I am" ... so, this Nicki diss was meant to cut Megan deep.

As for why she said it, Nicki seemed to answer that question to some extent ... reminding Megan fans that her family's constantly a "focal point" of criticism -- and she's clearly getting sick of it.

As we reported ... this round of beef popped off when Megan seemed to reference Nicki's husband, Kenneth Petty, in her new track "Hiss" -- making a "Megan's Law" reference that many interpreted as shade toward Petty's legal trouble.

Nicki responded by putting out a rap that got "#Bigfoot" trending ... but clearly wanted to make more of a statement than that. BTW, fans are kinda split on Nickin's comment about Meg's mom -- though a lot seem to feel she went too far.

Bottom line ... this beef's starting to get real nasty -- and the ball's in Megan's court.

TMZ Hip Hop spoke with the "1500 Or Nothing" maestro Wednesday at LAX, where he gushed about JT's new album, a project he's heard first-hand -- because he worked on it with Timbaland!!!

Last year, JT blessed 1500 or Nothin's music academy with scholarship money and their partnership was dipped in bronze ... leading up to the album's creation.

We gave you the scoop last week ... JT is set to release his upcoming 6th LP "Everything I Thought I Was" after scooping up all the trademarks -- and Rance promises he's going to blow up the game, again, with the album.

JT officially jumpstarted the project Friday with the lead single "Selfish" -- which was met with fairly mixed reviews online ... but fans were loving the live rendition during his Memphis homecoming concert last week. It just may be a grower, not an instant shower.

Rance also had time to stick up for Drake after Yasiin Bey (a.k.a. Mos Def) kicked him out of rap's b-boy section, declaring his music was too happy-go-lucky to be classified as authentic hip hop.

Later for all the rappity rap talk, according to Rance, who says Drake uses fewer words than even the most skilled MC and still nets a pop-sized audience.

Teyana Taylor says Iman Shumpert's playing dirty in their divorce war, claiming he's slowly shutting down all the utilities in the home where she lives with their 2 children ... TMZ Hip Hop has learned.

In a new court filing, Teyana's attorney says she woke up this month in the Georgia home they used to share, only to discover the WiFi and cable was cut off, and one day later, the water stopped running ... and she's fully laying blame on Iman.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Iman moved out back in October, and shortly thereafter, Iman's brother -- who handles his personal affairs -- told Teyana, Iman intended to shut off the power.

Since then, she claims Iman hasn't paid a cent of child support, or covered any of the kids' expenses ... including food and clothing costs.

With the water, cable and WiFi now gone, Teyana's attorney says they're concerned he's going to follow through and cut off the gas and electricity.

On top of that, Teyana claims Iman left her holding the bag on $200K worth of home renovations he started 3 years ago.

In the docs, she says Iman told her his money is tied up in investments, and proposed she cover the cost and he would reimburse her -- but she's yet to see a penny from him.

Mind you, it's not like Teyana can't afford to turn on any utilities that get shut off -- she's clearly got the cash to handle that, but her attorney's court filing makes it clear ... this is about holding Iman accountable.

Since their divorce is pending, Teyana's attorney points out the court put a standing order in place ... meaning both parties are supposed to maintain the status quo on their home and finances until the divorce is finalized.
