"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" alum Masika Kalysha is opening up about the painful loss of her husband in a horrible accident ... calling the death of Jamar Champ "tragic" and "unexpected."

Masika issued a statement to The Shade Room, confirming the bad news that Champ was killed Tuesday when his Cybertruck got into a three-vehicle crash in Houston, Texas.

The reality star noted Champ was the "father/stepfather of my beautiful daughters" and asked for respect and understanding while their family grieves him and honors his memory.

Baton Rouge rapper Young Bleed is currently in an ICU in serious condition -- just days after having the world shout "How you do dat there" during his grand appearance at ComplexCon.

Bogus media reports pronounced the 47-year-old rapper dead on Tuesday, but Young Bleed's sister, Tedra, sent out a defiant message on behalf of his family, stating that he was still alive in the ICU.

Bleed's mom says she was inundated with calls and social media posts from people in mourning after the fake news spread online. So, she and the rest of Bleed's family demanded everyone STOP reaching out to her and posting RIP messages!!!

We caught up with Juve The Great at Mass Appeal's "Legend Has It" booth inside ComplexCon, and the Louisiana rap legend says playing his New Orleans big brass sound for the Vegas crowd was a real treat -- mainly because he was able to memorialize his late homie, rapper Soulja Slim.

Juvenile and Slim topped the Billboard Hot 100 with "Slow Motion" back in 2004 -- several months after Slim was murdered, making their collaboration even more historic. As you know, Slim was fatally shot in New Orleans by a gunman still at large.

Rappers are taking their beefs from the studio to the courtroom these days ... Cam'ron just sued J. Cole over their song "Ready '24."

In court docs, obtained by TMZ ... Cam'ron claims he wrote lyrics and dropped a verse on the song in exchange for Cole agreeing to collaborate with him on a future project or at least appear on Cam's popular "It Is What It Is" podcast. Cam alleges that 2 years after the recording, J. Cole neglected to do either.

Cam says "Ready 24" was recorded back in 2022, and from July 2023 till April 2024, Cam says he continued to communicate with Cole, who repeatedly stated he was unavailable for the podcast. Cam also says the subsequent music collaboration between them never materialized, despite efforts by Cam to put it together.
