The Black Mamba's presence will be felt every time Drake steps foot on his insane home indoor basketball court ... 'cause the rapper has installed a touching tribute for Kobe Bryant.
Drizzy showed off the new artwork while spending some alone time at his "Sanctuary" court Monday night ... displaying a massive #8 and #24 on either side of the scoreboard.
Just like most of the world, it looks like Drake is practicing social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic ... which means he can work on his J from the comfort of his Toronto mansion.
BlocBoy JB is lucky to be alive after a stunt that came incredibly close to disaster -- he jumped from a balcony into a pool ... but nearly smashed into concrete.
Video of the rapper surfaced this week, showing him leap from what appears to be a second-story balcony at an apartment complex or hotel. His plan, if he had one, was to land in the pool. He ended up barely clearing the edge, and did NOT walk away unscathed.
Watch the video ... while he landed in the water, it had to be pretty shallow. His ankle looked a little banged up.
One of his buddies who's recording video even says BlocBoy almost killed himself. Possibly a slight exaggeration -- it was only 2 stories -- but you can tell this could've at least ended in serious injury.
It's unclear when this was shot, but if it was recent, it looks like the rapper is too busy playing daredevil to sweat coronavirus. He might wanna reprioritize.
11:51 AM PT -- A judge just granted Kenneth's request to have internet restrictions lifted as part of the conditions of his pre-trial release. With the court's order now in place, the guy's free to continue surfing the World Wide Web again.
Nicki Minaj's husband really wants to get back to surfing the Internet ... something he's currently barred from doing due to his pending criminal case.
Kenneth Petty just submitted legal docs, obtained by TMZ, begging a California judge to allow him to use the World Wide Web.
As you know ... Kenneth recently registered as a sex offender in Cali aftergetting arrested for allegedly failing to do so when he moved to the state with Nicki. One of the terms of his pretrial release -- he can't use the web unless approved by a supervisor.
According to the docs, prosecutors have already agreed to Kenneth's request ... so now, it's up to the judge to sign off.
Kenneth, who pled not guilty to failing to register as a sex offender, has a curfew and is being required to wear an ankle monitor as he waits for next month's court date. His travel is also restricted to Southern California.
50 Cent is giving a big middle finger to the coronavirus panic by going to a strip club in a heavily affected area in New York City ... and throwing cash like there's no tomorrow.
The rapper was at Starlet's Gentlemen's club in Woodside, NY Saturday night -- just outside of Jackson Heights, and just across the way from Manhattan -- where he was without a mask or a glove ... but had a whole lot of paper on his lap with dancers all around.
Fitty was more than happy to spread the wealth in what looked to be a decently packed venue -- chucking his $$$ on stage while the strippers got all giddy. Eyewitnesses tell us he got even more excited and loose with his dough when the DJ started playing his own songs.
Clearly, the guy isn't stressing about catching COVID-19 ... even though the city is on the verge of locking down and mandating people stay home and away from public spaces.
I was out in midtown Manhattan yesterday and seems like it is already shutdown. Never in 26 years in the city have I seen the streets so empty. It was surreal. #shutdownNYCpic.twitter.com/hXebqQQCT0
Meanwhile, back in Manhattan proper ... it appears tons of people are already staying off the streets out of an abundance of caution, not to mention a massive spike in confirmed cases.
Not 50 though ... looks like he's gonna do his thing until he gets sick ... or dies trying. That's a pun, relax.
DaBaby just got slapped back ... with a lawsuit from the woman who claims the rapper smacked the hell outta her at a recent concert.
Tyronesha Laws just filed the suit, claiming she was minding her own damn business when the rapper, "suddenly and without any warning," lashed out and brutally and violently struck her in the face last weekend during his Tampa gig.
In docs, obtained by TMZ, Tyronesha says she was in the crowd of concertgoers waiting for DB to take the stage. She says he did not simply walk on the stage to begin his performance, and instead, proceeded through the crowd with his entourage, and "without incident." Until he got to her.
She claims DaBaby expressed no remorse for his slap and points out the rapper made fun of the situation on social media when he posted a skit featuring comedian Michael Blackson.
Laws' attorneys, Matt Morgan and Chelsea Cromer of Morgan and Morgan, say the incident was "outrageous and shocking." Her legal team added, "Our goal is to deter similar conduct in the future and send a message that this type of behavior is not tolerated in America."
Remember, Tyronesha told us she was NOT the person who put a phone right in DaBaby's face. She insists she was standing next to the person who did that when DB unleashed his anger.
On the other hand, DB's lawyer, Drew Findling, told us Laws is NOT the person his client slapped and added alleged victims are coming out of the woodwork.
Laws is suing for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other damages. We've reached out to DaBaby, so far, no word back.
11:37 AM PT -- Post has decided to postpone the rest of his tour ... Thursday was the last show.
Post Malone was anything BUT POSTponed ... his show in Denver oddly went on despite everything else getting canceled amid fears of widespread of the coronavirus.
The rapper's facing tons of heat after performing Thursday night in front of a sold-out crowd at Pepsi Center ... quite the opposite of social distancing. Fans ate up the performance, but many are confused as to why it was allowed to happen in the first place.
Colorado hasn't banned large public gatherings but health officials in the Centennial State warned against it to steam the fast-spreading disease. Post's show drew even more ire considering the NBA, NCAA, NHL, MLS, MLB and other major orgs halted operations.
The Pepsi Center tweeted Thursday Post's show would proceed as scheduled, and the reaction was immediate and tense. One person replied, "Wow. Wildly irresponsible and greedy. Thanks for the $300 loss." Another said, "Governor should [get] involved and cancel this event what is state of emergency!"
And, get this ... Post's show continued even though Blake Shelton's show originally scheduled for Saturday at the same venue was nixed due to the coronavirus.
Post Malone's next gig is next week at Chase Center in Frisco. So far, it's listed as "canceled or postponed -- TBD" but California officials have called for the cancellation of all gatherings with 250 or more people.
DaBabyis vehemently denying a woman's claim she was on the receiving end of his vicious slap -- the rapper admits hitting someone, but says alleged victims are coming outta the woodwork.
We broke the story ... DaBaby brutally assaulted a fan before his Saturday night gig in Tampa while walking through the crowd. Tyronesha Laws claims she's the one DaBaby slapped, but his legal team says not so fast.
DaBaby's attorney, Drew Findling, tells TMZ ... enhanced video shows DaBaby slapping an individual who struck his left eye with what appears to be a phone with the flashlight on -- NOT the person standing to the left or the right of the individual shoving the phone in his face.
That's interesting because Tyronesha told us she was standing next to a young lady who reached with a phone -- flashlight activated -- toward DaBaby right before he allegedly smacked her in the face.
Findling says his law firm has been contacted by multiple people claiming to be the victim, but they haven't been able to establish the real identity.
DaBaby's already apologized to the woman he struck, saying he thought he was hitting a guy and couldn't tell the difference because of the light in his face.
Clearly not the greatest explanation for the violence
Tyronesha told us DaBaby's apologyrings hollow because he's making fun of it in a social media skit with Michael Blackson-- but now DaBaby says the mea culpa ain't for her in the first place.
Kevin Durantenlisted one of his good buddies to keep his spirits high during his Achilles recovery on Tuesday night ... hitting up an L.A. hot spot together for a night on the town.
Of course, KD is still working to get back on the courtfollowing the devastating injury he suffered in Game 5 of the NBA Finals last season ... and it's been going VERY well -- the dude is already dunking in pick-up games again!!
The Brooklyn Nets superstar stayed busy while his team was in town to play the LA Lakers ... hitting up The Nice Guy in West Hollywood for a good time.
FYI -- Drake and KD are solid buds despite their teams going against each other in the Finals last season ... and Drizzy was very emotional in the crowd when Durant went down with the injury.
On top of that, Aubrey loves to name-drop Durant in his songs ... so the meet-up ain't all that surprising.
Now that KD is back to dunking, it's great to see him out celebrating.
DaBaby's really not sorry for smacking the hell out of a woman over the weekend ... at least according to the victim, who says his apology is sorely lacking.
The woman on the receiving end of DaBaby's brutal slap, Tyronesha Laws, tells TMZ ... the rapper's mea culpa is empty and the proof is on his social media. Tyronesha got choked up when she told us about seeing a comedic skit about the incident the rapper posted.
We broke the story ... DaBaby brutally assaulted a fan Saturday night in Tampa on his way to the stage. Tyronesha told us what led up to the insanely violent blow, saying she wasn't even the person who put the flash in his face.
DaBaby claimed he thought he was hitting a dude and did apologize ... but Tyronesha ain't buying what he's selling. Her attorney, Matt Morgan, tells us he's spoken with DaBaby's legal team and looks forward to continuing their discussions.
4:08 PM PT -- Organizers have just made the push to October official, saying, "At the direction of the County of Riverside and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling of Coachella and Stagecoach due to COVID-19 concerns."
UPDATE
They continue, "All purchases for the April dates will be honored for the rescheduled October dates. Purchasers will be notified by Friday, March 13 on how to obtain a refund if they are unable to attend."
Travis Scott, Rage Against the Machine and Frank Ocean will be legends of the fall -- Coachella and its headliners are moving to October due to the coronavirus crisis.
TMZ has confirmed agents for several acts booked for Coachella have been told the new dates are the consecutive weekends of Oct. 9 and Oct. 16. The festival's promoter, Goldenvoice, is in the process now of informing reps for all the acts. The official announcement will likely come once that's done.
The massive music festival was originally scheduled for the weekends of April 10 and April 17, but it's now going the way of several other festivals that are either postponing or pulling the plug altogether.
South by Southwest canceled last week, as did the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Even live touring legend Pearl Jam just announced it would postpone its upcoming spring dates.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
County music fans gotta change their travel plans too -- the Stagecoach festival is postponing from April 24 to October 23.
All of this comes on the heels of other major shifts due to coronavirus fears. TMZ broke the story ... Justin Bieber is moving several of his stadium tour dates to arenas to ensure they can fill the venues, even with reduced ticket sales amid the crisis.
Megan Thee Stallionis all smiles just days after her EP dropped ... and she's adamant it'll hold her fans over until THE BIG ONE drops.
We got the Houston rapper out over the weekend leaving Coach in NYC and she tells us it's been nothing but love since she dropped her 9-track EP, "Suga," on Friday. She's adamant it's gonna hold her fans over until her big album drops.
When that'll happen is unclear. Remember, Megan's label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, went to court and filed a motion to try and stop her from releasing her new music ... but in the end, it was Megan who notched the W in that battle.
BTW, Megan also had some strong feelings about Coachella after we asked her about the festival's uncertainty. Pretty clear where she stands. Problem is ... best-case scenario for Coachella now is a delay until October.
Tee Grizzley says he no longer has beef with Eminemand Royce da 5'9" ... and he's chalking it all up to a classic case of a misunderstanding.
Here's the deal ... Tee Grizzley blasted Royce after he revealed he'd advised Eminem to hold off on collaborating with the up-and-coming Detroit rapper until TG had another hit to his name.
Now, Tee Grizzley says he talked to Royce and smoothed things over ... and he wants to do the same with Em.
As you know ... Royce said he convinced Eminem to not work with Tee Grizzley just yet, so Em wouldn't get credit for helping TG blow up. Royce and Em were gonna sit back and wait, and then Tee Grizzley took a shot at Eminem.
The diss -- "I run Detroit, n****s talkin' 'bout Eminem. Talking that s**t, I kill you, him, and him."
Royce says Em was pissed Grizzley burned a bridge he didn't know he had ... but Tee tells us, it's all a big misunderstanding and he's got nothing but love for Eminem and hopes they eventually collab.
2:57 PM PT -- Another source close to the couple tells us the two are simply coparenting and support each other as friends. The source says Travis and Kylie are not currently linked romantically.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scottare officially a thing again ... and they have been for several weeks now.
Sources close to the couple tell TMZ ... Kylie and Travis are back together romantically but they're not quite ready to put a title on their relationship, even though they regularly sleep under the same roof, share a child and don't see other people.
Our sources say Kylie and Travis both benefited from last year's breakup ... the time apart was good for both parties because they needed some space. Remember, their initial relationship in 2017 moved very fast because she got pregnant with Stormiright after they first started dating at Coachella.
Fact is ... Kylie and Travis work well on several levels ... in addition to a strong family bond, they both lead full and successful professional lives.
3:48 PM PT -- The woman who DaBaby struck over the weekend has lawyered up, and it sounds like they're ready to have a chat with DB.
UPDATE
Attorney Matt Morgan tells TMZ ... "Morgan & Morgan has been retained to represent the interests of Tyronesha Laws. Ms. Laws has received DaBaby's Instagram message. We look forward to speaking with Mr. Kirk."
UPDATE
Yeah, you know it's serious when government names start getting thrown around. Luckily, DaBaby's already made it clear he's more than ready to talk.
UPDATE
12:09 PM PT -- DaBaby just issued a mea culpa to the woman he hit, implying he thought the gal was a dude ... and couldn't tell the difference because she was shining a light on his face at incredibly close range.
He goes on to acknowledge he was wrong in any case, noting that having flashing lights in your face is part of the biz and something he signed up for when he got in the game. That said, he offers an alternative to bopping him with a phone for next time ... zoom mode.
UPDATE
It also sounds like DB is trying to get ahead of possible coming repercussions for this, sending a message directly the woman, that he's willing to apologize and talk privately ... and make things right by whatever means necessary.
UPDATE
10:46 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the victim in this case told cops that DaBaby got the wrong person when he smacked her, because she explained it was the woman next to her who had hit DaBaby first -- but received none of the retaliation.
UPDATE
We're also told when deputies arrived on the scene, DB had already left the venue. Our sources say the officers who responded did not notice visible injuries on the victim, and we're told she refused EMS attention when asked if she needed treatment.
UPDATE
Lastly ... our sources say this gal was given a form she can submit to the State Attorney's Office if she wants to press charges and pursue the case further. Unclear if she plans to do that or not though.
DaBaby brutally assaulted a fan Saturday night as he made his way to the stage, and the crowd was so enraged at him the show ended before it began.
The rapper was at Whiskey North in Tampa for his "Up Close N Personal" tour when a woman waved her phone in his direction, presumably to get a pic. Check out the video ... you see DaBaby unload on her.
Folks at the concert tell TMZ ... after the initial shock subsided, the crowd started booing the rapper. DaBaby and his crew left without performing a single song. Check out the strike from a different angle too, BTW. It's a straight up open palm slap across the face.
You can hear people shriek in horror as DB calmly walks away, and the crowd around the woman bend over to help her. Eerily to similar to another incident DaBaby's bodyguard was involved in back in September ... when the guy KO'd a girl, whom he thought was a guy.
Now, DaBaby has spoken on this. He went on his Instagram story to share a video of the incident, saying, "who know shawty government name so my lawyer can get active."
Cops showed up -- responding to a 911 assault call -- but no arrests were made.
DaBaby's had his share of problems recently. He was recently accused of beating up and robbing a guy in Miami. The battery charges were dropped but he's still under the microscope for robbery -- he allegedly jacked the guy's cellphone, credit card and cash.
Lil Baby's concert Saturday night ended abruptly after gunshots rang out and at least one person was injured.
Check out the video ... you hear the shots and then the panic in the crowd. The rapper was performing at the Bill Harris Arena in West Birmingham, Alabama when someone in the crowd began firing rounds. Some fans hit the floor ... others ran out of the venue.
At least one person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The person's condition is not known.
What we do know is this ... there was some sort of physical altercation before the shots rang out, so it appears this was targeted.
Post Malone squarely addressed fans who worried he was in a pharmaceutical tailspin ... saying he's clean as a whistle -- never better.
Post performed Friday night at the FedExForum in Memphis and told the crowd he was not using ... no way, no how. In fact, he said he's never felt better.
Fans got super-worried earlier this week after he appeared to fall on stage during a concert and then writhed around on the floor. Post explained last night ... that's not someone who's high -- it's someone who is trying to give his fans an awesome performance and nothing more.
Post is in the middle of his Runaway Tour which began back in September 2019. He heads to Houston next where he will perform on March 9. He's facing what every artist, every sports team, everyone really has to deal with ... coronavirus, and what it means for big venues.
