Wild moment on Capitol Hill ... GOP Senator Tim Sheehy helped police remove an anti-war protestor from a Senate hearing ... and it's all on video.

Footage from Wednesday's Senate Armed Services Committee hearing shows a man in a Marine Corps uniform being dragged out by Capitol Police ... and then Sheehy runs over to help.

The protestor is heard shouting, "No one wants to fight for Israel!!!"

A women’s college basketball game turned into absolute chaos Wednesday … after a massive brawl broke out during the Sun Belt conference tournament -- leaving a referee sprawled out on the court and eight players ejected.

The melee erupted with just over five minutes left in South Alabama’s game against Coastal Carolina in Pensacola.

Coastal’s Tracey Hueston and South Alabama’s Cordasia Harris exchanged words under the basket. Seconds later, Hueston started swinging -- letting loose a right hook that narrowly missed Harris’ face -- igniting a full-on scrum as players and coaches rushed the court.

As officials tried to break it up, one referee was knocked down and lay flat on the floor while staff and medical personnel sprinted in to help.

Todd Meadows died at sea while shooting "Deadliest Catch" last week, and now we know he had only been back at work for a few weeks before his tragic accident ... his mom tells TMZ he suffered a concussion that temporarily put him on medical leave.

Angela Meadows tells TMZ ... Todd was hit in the head about a month ago while on the ship and -- according to protocol -- he got checked out by a doctor. When it was medically determined Todd had sustained a concussion, he was flown back home to Washington to recover.

It was during that week that his family last saw him.

Angela says, "The last photo I got of him was when he was building a fire. He was listening to music in the moment and was so happy. That's how I want to remember him."

The woman Sherrone Moore allegedly had an affair with during his time as the head coach of the Michigan football team is no longer with the program ... TMZ Sports has learned.

A spokesman for the university athletic department tells us that Paige Shiver's contract expired and was not renewed.

Moore was fired by the Wolverines for cause in December 2025 after an investigation determined he had an "inappropriate relationship with a staff member." It was later revealed the woman, eventually identified as Shiver, went to school officials with evidence of their relationship after it ended.

The kids' guardian made the move as Caleb remains locked up on a murder charge over the death of his wife -- the kids' mother, Ashley Flynn. According to the papers, the restraining order should prevent Caleb from transferring any assets ... including money that may have been left behind by Ashley.

Lou Holtz, one of the most accomplished college football coaches of all time, has passed away at the age of 89.

"Louis Leo 'Lou' Holtz, legendary college football coach, Hall of Famer, bestselling author, and one of America’s most influential motivational voices, has passed away at the age of 89 in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by family," his family announced in a statement.

"Holtz is remembered for his enduring values of faith, family, service, and an unwavering belief in the potential of others. His influence extended far beyond the football field through the Holtz Charitable Foundation and the many players, colleagues, and communities shaped by his leadership."

The West Virginia native began his coaching career back in 1960, serving as an assistant for the University of Iowa. From there ... he bounced around the country before landing a head coaching gig with William and Mary University.

David Del Rio is not giving up after CBS fired him from "Matlock" following an allegation of sexual assault involving costar Leah Lewis ... because now he wants to battle the network in arbitration.

The actor's powerhouse lawyer, Shawn Holley, tells TMZ ... David has initiated arbitration against CBS Studios to address false and misleading allegations that caused substantial professional and reputational harm.

We're told David plans to present text messages and other evidence at arbitration that his lawyer says directly contradict prior public characterizations of the interaction at issue. Holley says the evidence was "not fully considered" before CBS fired David.

"Deadliest Catch" cameras were rolling when deckhand Todd Meadows fell overboard off the coast of Alaska last week ... but his mother tells TMZ, she doesn't want the show to profit from her son's passing.

Angela Meadows tells us, "We don’t want to see any footage from the accident and do not want Discovery to air any of that footage or make money off of our son’s death. We hope they only air good things of Todd on that boat."

In fact, Angela says the family has asked for footage of Todd crabbing, so that they can watch him do what he loved and "have the videos for memories."

Nancy Guthrie Glove Leads Police to Restaurant Worker ... With No Connection to Case

Nancy Guthrie's investigation seemed to get a jolt when cops found gloves near her Tucson, Arizona home ... and they even linked it to a person -- but they've hit another dead end.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed to local outlet KVOA-TV investigators were able to match DNA found in the glove to a restaurant worker employed across the street from where the glove was found.

However, Nanos says it won't help them find Guthrie ... because the worker and glove have "nothing to do with the case."
