'American Idol' Alum Caleb Flynn Shot His Wife To Death, Police Say

Caleb Flynn -- who auditioned for "American Idol" in 2013 -- is back in the limelight but for all the wrong reasons ... he's just been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife.

Flynn was apprehended Thursday by the Tipp City PD in Ohio and booked into the county jail for murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence, according to official records. Caleb also posed for a mug shot with no expression on his face.

Police say they discovered his wife Ashley's body inside the couple's Tipp City home, just north of Dayton, after cops received a report of a burglary at the residence.

Russell Westbrook's wife, Nina, received a shocking email from an irate "fan" furious over her husband's performance on the court, calling her a "dumb b*tch" and writing that they wish they "both die in a car crash."

Nina -- who married Westbrook in 2015 -- shared the disturbing message on her Instagram story on Thursday night. The note appears to have been sent following Russ' 5-point outing in the Kings-Magic game.

The email titled "F*** You" reads: "Your piece of f***in sh*t husband sucks to f***n bad can't even get 1o points is pathetic."

LaMelo Ball addressed the media for the first time since his Wednesday accident in Uptown Charlotte -- which left his Hummer missing a wheel and a person with minor injuries -- though the hooper wasn't in the mood to open up about the ordeal.

The 24-year-old sat down in front of microphones following the Hornets' 105-101 loss to the Houston Rockets Thursday night, and it was clear he was trying to keep things all about basketball.

When asked about the crash, Ball said it was "unfortunate, [but] everybody cool."

"So just blessings. God is great."

Hollywood is celebrating Eric Dane, who just lost his battle with ALS -- and the tributes are pouring in.

Dane's publicist announced his death Thursday night after the actor was diagnosed last April with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis -- a nervous system disease that impacts nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. 

A slew of celebs -- including Ashton Kutcher, Selma Blair, Nina Dobrev, John Stamos and Alyssa Milano -- took to social media after hearing the sad news to remember the "Grey's Anatomy" and "Euphoria" star.

Kutcher jumped on X to say he's going to miss his buddy, referencing a celebrity fantasy football league the two actors belonged to. They starred together in the 2010 film "Valentine's Day."

The actor played Cal Jacobs, the troubled father of Jacob Elordi's Nate Jacobs who enjoys secret hook ups with in motels with young men and trans women ... and abuses alcohol, leading to explosive outbursts.

Dane's rep confirmed to TMZ he shot episodes for the upcoming season. Filming wrapped in late 2025. People was first to report the news.

The actor had an uncredited part as Paul in the 1995 comedy film starring Chris Farley, David Spade, Bo Derek and Brian Dennehy ... but Rob says that credit list needs to change -- pronto! -- in an open letter to Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison.

Rob posted the letter to his X account Thursday night ... and, we gotta admit, it all sounds like a joke. Kicking things off, Rob says among the "long-standing, important and unresolved issues" is his lack of credit on "Tommy Boy."

LaMelo Ball Hummer Needs Some Fixin' After Crash ... Will Be As Good As New!

LaMelo Ball's custom Hummer is already undergoing repairs after Wednesday's collision in downtown Charlotte -- with the owner of the motorsports company telling TMZ Sports the truck is fixable, but it will take some time!

We spoke to Adam Wolfe of Dreamworks Motorsports, the company behind the custom work on Melo's 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1, who says they've already started getting it back to tip-top shape.

The Hummer suffered significant front-end damage in the crash, including the loss of one of its 24x12 DW Forged one-off designed wheels.

Wolfe said he spoke with Ball after the crash and was relieved to hear he was okay ... and the damaged truck was sent back to the company's Roxboro, NC location on Thursday -- about three hours from Charlotte.

Lil Poppa Shot Himself After Car Crash, Police Say

We are learning more about the circumstances surrounding the death of rapper Lil Poppa ... and it's pretty shocking.

TMZ broke the news ... the rapper -- real name Janarious Mykel Wheeler -- was pronounced dead yesterday in Georgia at the age of 25.

Hapeville Chief of Police Bruce Hedley tells TMZ ... Lil Poppa was in a single-car accident on Interstate 85 south of Hapeville ... which is when he called his manager asking what he should do. The car was still drivable.
