Barack Obama's finally responding to President Donald Trump sharing a video depicting him and his wife as apes ... part of the "clown show" he says the current prez is putting on.

The 44th President of the United States responded to the racist vid during an interview with Brian Tyler Cohen ... telling the host he thinks a majority of Americans find DJT's online presence troubling.

Obama refers to both the social media posts and the administration's public behaviors as a "clown show" ... and he laments the loss of "decorum" and "propriety" as it relates to the highest office in the land.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner ... and who better to give advice on how to have a romantic evening than Nelly and Ashanti!

We caught up with the music power couple on the red carpet of the Fanatics Super Bowl party Sunday in San Francisco, California. When our photog asked ... "What's the secret to a Valentine's for you two?" even he didn't think they'd give such a candid answer.

Nelly gave us a knowing stare ... while Ashanti blurted, "The bedroom!"

James Van Der Beek's friends stepped up to help him secure a down payment on his family's Texas ranch before he passed away ... his rep revealed.

People spoke to the rep about the $4.7 million Texas Ranch, which, as we reported, he bought on January 9 ... and the rep told the outlet his family wanted to stop paying rent and start paying a mortgage, and some helpful friends made that dream a reality.

As we mentioned ... James and his family moved to the ranch in 2020 -- but, they were only renting the property for the first 5+ years.

4:49 PM PT -- A rep for Tone Loc tells TMZ ... he's fine, and he's on his way back to Los Angeles. The rep neither confirmed nor denied the medical incident announced by The Krewe of Kolosse.

Tone Loc -- the popular rapper best known for the hit songs "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina" -- is recovering in a Georgia hospital after a medical incident

The Krewe Of Kolosse -- a men's Mardi Gras society -- announced the news because the rapper was supposed to serve as the Grand Marshal of a parade in Dothan, Alabama Saturday.

However, while flying to Dothan, the Krewe of Kolosse says Tone Loc experienced a medical emergency. The organization did not provide additional information.

Parker Sutherland -- a college football standout at the University of Northern Iowa -- has died ... the school announced Saturday.

The college freshman passed away Saturday morning -- just 10 days before his birthday -- the school announced ... declining to provide a cause of death out of respect for the family.

UNI head coach Todd Stepsis said his heart goes out to the Sutherlands ... adding the young man "embodied everything we look for in a UNI Football Panther." He highlighted Parker's character, humility, toughness, and love of others.

3:20 PM PT -- Canada has released a statement in the aftermath of the incident ... stating in part, "Curling Canada fully supports fair play, respect and sportsmanship, values that are fundamental to our sport."

Marc Kennedy has also apologized for using the language he did during the tense moment.

A law enforcement source involved in the investigation told him this morning neither the ransom note we received nor the reward demand emails we received were the trigger for last night's action.

Sources told FOX ... Pima County deputies pulled the man over in a Range Rover during a traffic stop in the parking lot of a Culver's restaurant about 2 miles from Nancy's home.
