American model Carol Alt was only 22 years old -- and 5' 11" -- when she shot to stardom after she was featured on the cover of the 1982 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Alt was featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Cosmopolitan, as well as, scoring sought after ad campaigns like Cover Girl, Hanes, Givenchy and Diet Pepsi.

Rashee Rice has yet to address abuse allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Dacoda Jones, earlier this month ... and that remained the case when we directly asked him about them at LAX on Tuesday.

TMZ Sports asked the 25-year-old for his side of the story after Jones, who never mentioned Rice by name in the allegations, shared photos of bruises and wounds on her body.

Rice, who wore a purple hat with a black sweatshirt at the airport, elected to stay quiet ... despite the NFL and his employer, the Kansas City Chiefs, acknowledging the claims ... with the former launching an investigation.

Two different agents shot at Alex Pretti in the incident Saturday that left him dead ... this according to a Department of Homeland Security report to Congress.

Customs and Border Protection relayed the results of its initial investigation into the shooting of Pretti ... admitting to Congress a Border Patrol agent and a Customs and Border Protection officer both fired their guns.

According to CNN, the report reads ... "CBP personnel attempted to take Pretti into custody. Pretti resisted CBP personnel’s efforts and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a (Border Patrol agent) yelled, ‘He’s got a gun!’ multiple times. Approximately five seconds later, a (Border Patrol agent) discharged his CBP-issued Glock 19 and a (Customs and Border Protection officer) also discharged his CBP-issued Glock 47 at Pretti.”

Kanye West's most recent apology for his antisemitism is falling flat ... at least as far as Rabbi Shmuley Boteach is concerned.

Rabbi Shmuley, an influential American rabbi and TV personality, took a blowtorch to the full-page ad Ye took out in The Wall Street Journal apologizing to "Those I've Hurt."
