Chris Pratt plays a detective put on trial by an A.I. judge for his wife’s murder in his new flick, "Mercy" ... and he’s now sounding off on whether the real-life justice system could actually go that high-tech too.

We caught up with the Hollywood star in NYC Tuesday ... and when we asked if the way things are going means more artificial intelligence could start taking over in courtrooms, he made it crystal clear -- he seriously hopes not.

President Trump's potty mouth is rubbing off on other world leaders, including a European Parliament official who gave DT a dose of his own medicine.

Anders Vistisen --  a Danish member of the European Parliament -- stood up in front of his fellow politicians Tuesday and delivered a scathing speech that targeted Trump for threatening to take over Greenland, which is currently under the authority of Denmark.

Check out this video ... which captures the exact moment Vistisen torpedoes Trump with some choice words while standing at the podium. In a calm, steady voice, Vistisen says to Trump, "Let me put this in words you might understand, Mr. President, f*** off."

Indiana University head football coach Curt Cignetti is on some run -- not only is he on top of the college football world after winning the national championship Monday night -- TMZ Sports has learned he's getting a lifetime supply of beer!!

Upland Brewing -- which coach shouted out as the beer he would be sipping on after beating the Miami Hurricanes to complete the undefeated season -- said it was "so thankful" for the name-drop ... and it's got gifts.

"Coach Cignetti and his staff have ignited IU Football and brought so much joy and energy to Bloomington and the state of Indiana," the company said. "We are excited to continue providing beer for the Hoosiers as they celebrate the national championship, and we will be sending plenty of Hoosier Gameday Lager their way."

In court documents, obtained by TMZ, text messages sent by one of the film's stars, Jenny Slate, show she didn't want to do anything with Justin or his "truly unprofessional" business partner Jamey Heath back in 2023 -- the year the film began production.

Slate wrote, "This has really been a disturbing shoot, and I'm one of many who feel this way, and Blake and I have both complained directly to Ange [production executive Andrea Giannetti] at Sony (and they agree w us btw). Justin is truly a false ally and I'm unwilling to do anything that promotes the image that he's crafting as a 'male feminist' ... like ... honestly I have no words to describe what a fraud he is."

Lamar Odom insists he wasn't under the influence of alcohol or narcotics when he was busted for driving under the influence over the weekend.

The NBA champ addressed his arrest with TMZ Sports on Tuesday ... saying he's taking full responsibility for his actions, while also clearing the air a bit on what got him put in the slammer.

LO didn't specify what he had, if anything, in his system before Vegas cops booked him for driving under the influence and two traffic violations on Saturday ... but owned up to needing to be more responsible behind the wheel.

As the "Queer Eye" cast made the morning show rounds Tuesday, Karamo Brown was noticeably absent ... he shocked his castmates by pulling out of the interviews, citing mental and emotional abuse.

Jones said the culture expert's assistant sent an email that read, "Karamo has felt mentally and emotionally abused for years and he's been advised by his therapist to protect himself and his peace by not attending."

While he wasn't there in person, Brown made a virtual appearance in a video message, saying, "Just like the themes of the season, I am modeling what I believe is most important, which I want to remind you all ... Love yourselves and protect yourselves. That's why I'm here at home and not there."

YNW Melly just scored a huge legal win ... because prosecutors in Florida dropped witness tampering charges against him on the cusp of his trial.

The "Murder On My Mind" rapper was set to stand trial on the state charges ... jury selection was set to begin Wednesday ... but now he can turn his attention to his double-murder trial.

Melly's attorney's Drew Findling and Carey Haughwout tell TMZ ... "On behalf of Jamell Demons, we welcome the dismissal of the alleged tampering and gang related charges in court this morning. As his newly retained legal team, it became immediately apparent to us that no crimes had occurred. Unfortunately, for 652 days while these charges were pending, the State did not reach the same conclusion until the cusp of trial."

Unclear why the charges were dropped ... prosecutors had alleged Melly was colluding with is co-defendant Cortlen Henry and another inmate to prevent Melly's ex from testifying in the double-murder case.

Chess grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky died from accidental poisoning after ingesting a drug cocktail that included methamphetamine ... according to authorities.

The North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner tells TMZ ... Naroditsky had a combination of methamphetamine and amphetamine in his system, along with mitragynine, a substance known for its opioid-like effects.

Last October, Naroditsky was found dead in Charlotte, NC. The Charlotte Chess Center, where he worked, announced his passing at the time.
