Mike Posner changed the lyrics to his most famous song and bucked a social media trend ... and he's explaining why he views the past a lot differently than most folks right now.

The "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" singer joined us on "TMZ Live" Friday, and we asked him about the big lyrical change he made to his song ... at a time when folks on social media are looking back on 2016 with fond memories.

Mike's song caught fire in 2016 ... but he says he wasn't truly happy when he was singing about taking drugs in Ibiza to show Avicii he was cool.

Tyler Hilton and Megan Park sounds they're heading for a divorce ... he says they "decided to end" their marriage.

The "One Tree Hill" star announced his separation from the "Secret Life of the American Teenager" star Friday in a social media post.

Tyler says ... "A life update: I've never been super comfortable sharing personal information about our family life, but I've seen enough speculation online that I thought warranted clarity. Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage."

Unclear when they separated, Tyler offered no timelines here.

A man in Georgia has been arrested after he went on a racist tirade against a security guard in an Atlanta suburb ... with video of the tense interaction going viral online.

Robert John Burke has been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with the incident that occurred outside the Social Security Administration office in Gwinnett County Wednesday. Burke had his mug shot taken ... and he looks none too happy to be in lockup -- giving the camera a death stare.

If you haven't seen the video yet, fair warning -- it's upsetting. It's unclear what sets the man in the clip off, but he's screaming at a security guard ... calling him the n-word multiple times and seemingly squaring up to throw a punch.

2:46 PM PT -- A DHS spokesperson tells TMZ ... “Fearing for their lives and the safety of others, agents grabbed his arm, but he broke free. The agents struck, and he immediately dropped a wrench -- a deadly weapon. Agents extracted him from the car, but he continued to violently resist arrest including grabbing an agent’s throat. This alien was ultimately arrested for aggressive driving, fleeing from law enforcement, and physically resisting arrest. Reminder obstructing law enforcement is a federal crime and a felony.”

As Customs and Border Protection officers swarm a man to arrest him in Minnesota, one agent repeatedly knees him in the head and face ... and it's all on video.

Footage out of Minneapolis shows a scrum of Border Patrol agents detaining a man in the middle of a busy street, piling on top of him ... and at one point during the struggle, one agent is seen smashing his knee into the guy's face. Another of the agents appears to notice they're on camera, and seems to check his colleague, who delivers a last blow to the man's forehead.

David Harbour seems to be taking it easy after a difficult few months ... with a companion putting a grin on his face in New York City earlier this week.

A woman who called 911 to report a burglary at Greg Biffle's home told police she felt something was off when she noticed several doors were kicked in upon her arrival.

TMZ Sports obtained audio of the call on Friday ... a week after the late NASCAR legend's North Carolina home was burglarized on January 8.

The unidentified woman told police she arrived at the Biffle residence to help clean things up weeks after the tragedy  ... and when she got there, she said she noticed signs of a burglary.

"I'm at the house now, and it looks like someone tried to break in," the woman said. "Yeah, someone tried to kick the doors in."

Sam Beal -- the former NY Giants CB who's been missing for the last seven months -- was locked up in jail for unpaid child support five months before his disappearance ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We're learning more about the months leading up to the disappearance of Beal, who was reported missing in early August 2025 ... and the new info includes the former NFLer spending some time behind bars.

According to his missing persons file, the Western Michigan alum was locked up from September 2024 to February 2025 ... after Michigan hit him with two charges for allegedly failing to make child support payments in 2024.
