Amy Sedaris raised some eyebrows on CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast ... cracking a tongue in cheek transgender joke live on air that left Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper speechless.

The comedian appeared as one of the show's guests and during a viewer Q&A, Cooper asked where the best place to meet a man in 2026 might be. Sedaris quickly fired back that it might be in the women's bathroom, trailing off mid-thought as the comment landed with a thud.

Cooper and Cohen stayed silent, forcing Sedaris to pivot on the fly. She joked maybe Bergdorf Goodman was a better option, then tossed the question back to the hosts, suggesting a fire station. That finally got a laugh, with Cohen playing along.

Brooklyn Beckham didn't let the Beckham family feud put a damper on his New Year's Eve ... instead, he rang in 2026 front and center at a South Florida ultra club with wife Nicola Peltz, partying as 50 Cent took over the club at midnight.

A witness tells TMZ ... the couple, whose absence from David Beckham's end of year Instagram post has fueled new buzz on the family drama, were attached at the hip, singing along to every lyric and dancing in their section at E11EVEN as the clock struck 12.

Despite efforts to keep things low key they stood out in the packed club, appearing completely unfazed by the ongoing family tension.

Andy Cohen went scorched earth on former NYC Mayor Eric Adams moments after the New Year's Eve ball dropped ... unloading in a boozy, no filter rant on live TV as Anderson Cooper struggled to shut it down.

The Bravo honcho lit into Adams during CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast, torching the ex-mayor's run as chaotic and urging him to ride off into retirement. Cohen, holding a drink on air, mocked Adams' exit and appeared to take a swipe at his dismissed federal corruption case prompting Cooper and BJ Novak to jump in and attempt damage control.

At one point, Novak joked Cohen needed to be cut off, while Cooper awkwardly put an arm around his longtime cohost in a failed attempt to de-escalate the rant.

One half of the Island Boys didn't ring in the New Year on a high note ... 'cause TMZ has learned Franky Venegas was arrested again in Florida for alleged drug-related offenses and is currently behind bars.

Law enforcement tells us Franky was booked into the Collier County Jail in Naples Wednesday night on one count of drug paraphernalia, posing for a fresh mug shot ... face tattoos and all.

We're told Franky has no bond, as he's being held on a 24-hour hold because he's already out on bond from a February arrest for delivering/possessing/selling a firearm with an altered serial number.

We broke the story ... Franky was arrested in February on drug and firearm charges. The drug count was dropped, but the firearm charge stuck, and that's the case he's currently out on bond for.

One of the members of the U.S. House Oversight Committee that's been releasing photos and documents from the Jeffrey Epstein estate has a New Year's resolution for the Epstein Files ... he wants to totally expose and put away the pedophile's enablers.

Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, a Democrat from Virginia who sits on the committee, tells TMZ ... "My New Year's Resolution for the Epstein Files is to get the files released, name names, and let the courts and the court of public opinion judge those who perpetrated, covered up, and enabled these crimes so that they never happen again."

And Subramanyam says Ghislaine Maxwell is one of their targets ... despite her currently serving a 20-year sentence in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking minors and other federal charges. He says Maxwell "should absolutely be held accountable for all the crimes she committed, including newly discovered crimes."

Zach Bryan has officially given fans their first look at his romantic wedding to Samantha Leonard ... sharing a swoon worthy photo to Instagram.

In the wedding photo, Bryan is seen holding Leonard as she wears a strapless white gown featuring a feather trimmed hem. Bryan captioned the post "Tougher than the rest," a nod to Bruce Springsteen's love song from his 1987 album Tunnel of Love.

Bryan also shared video from the celebration, showing him performing the Springsteen track onstage while surrounded by flowers ... giving fans a glimpse inside the intimate Spain ceremony.

Pete Davidson's girlfriend Elsie Hewitt is ringing in the New Year in full mom mode and she's not pretending it's glamorous.

The model shared a series of candid Instagram Stories Wednesday, giving fans a peek at her first New Year's Eve as a mom after welcoming a baby just weeks ago.

"What are all the new parents doing this nye? Is it sooo different than past new years?" Hewitt wrote over a filtered selfie, teeing up a very real comparison.

Zohran Mamdani is officially New York City's mayor and he kicked off his historic term in unconventional fashion.

The 34-year-old was sworn in just after midnight Thursday in a private ceremony administered by New York Attorney General Letitia James. The oath took place at the old City Hall subway station, one of the city's original stops.

The ceremony made history, with Mamdani becoming NYC's first Muslim mayor. He was joined by his wife, Rama Duwaji. A larger, public ceremony is scheduled for later Thursday at City Hall, where Mamdani will be formally introduced by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Bernie Sanders is also expected to attend.

Boxing superstar Anthony Joshua has been released from a Nigerian hospital after being involved in a car wreck that killed two of his trainers.

Anthony, a former heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist, was discharged late Wednesday afternoon and will continue his recovery from home ... according to authorities in Nigeria.

As we reported ... Anthony was under observation at a hospital in Lago after Monday's fatal car crash.

4:01 PM PT -- The White House is denying a report in the Wall Street Journal that President Trump's Mar-a-Lago spa in Florida used to send teenage workers to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's Palm Beach mansion.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tells TMZ … "It's shameful the Wall Street Journal is wasting their once great paper writing up fallacies and innuendo in order to smear President Trump and distract from his historic first year back in office."

Leavitt adds ... "No matter how many times this story is told and retold, the truth remains: President Trump did nothing wrong and he kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago for being a creep."

She continues ... "Now, it's President Trump’s own Justice Department that is releasing hundreds of thousands of pages of documents related to Epstein and his crimes."

Donald Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein may be even worse than previously thought ... according to a new report from The Wall Street Journal.

The WSJ says DT's Mar-a-Lago spa in Florida would send teenage workers to Epstein's mansion, despite it being an open secret among the staff that the billionaire would sometimes expose himself during appointments.

According to the publication, the practice stopped in 2003 when an unnamed 18-year-old employee complained that Epstein "pressured her for sex."
