TMZ has learned ... Kim closed on the SoCal home for $7,000,000 and will be expanding her already spacious property in a beautiful neighborhood near Los Angeles.

Her current house is undergoing a big renovation, so this marks just the latest real estate change for the reality star ... who celebrates her 45th birthday today.

The embattled "Mob Ties" rapper was taken into custody by the Harris County, Texas Sheriff's Office on Monday, Oct. 20 and booked on 8 charges in total ... including marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance, prohibited substance in a correctional facility, possession of dangerous drug, and tampering/fabricating physical evidence.

Finesse2tymes had his mug shot snapped, but the Harris County PIO tells us he's no longer being detained in the Harris County Jail facility as of Tuesday.

David Geffen's estranged husband has withdrawn his salacious civil lawsuit against the media mogul, and is choosing another course, which takes much of his enormous money demand off the table.

David Armstrong (AKA Donovan Michaels) filed his civil lawsuit back in July, alleging the 82-year-old billionaire targeted the 32-year-old, whose trauma was weaponized for Geffen's "personal gratification and public image."

Armstrong claims he gave up his modeling career after allegedly being promised Geffen would take care of him financially for life. The former couple did not have a prenup -- Armstrong says he's entitled to community property. We're told Geffen, who has been retired for 15 years, has no community income.

Sam Rivers -- the bassist for the nu metal group Limp Bizkit -- died Saturday ... and now we have more of a clue as to what happened.

A spokesperson for the St. Johns County, Florida Fire Rescue tells TMZ ... they responded to a call Saturday for a "nonresponsive person in cardiac arrest."

The final cause of death is still unclear, but a rep for the St. Johns County Sheriff tells TMZ ... "Deputies responded to an attended death at that address." An "attended death" is one in which the deceased has been a patient under medical care for a serious or life-threatening illness that will likely lead to death in a relatively short period of time -- days or months, but not years.
