NBA's Marcus Morris Stole $265K From Las Vegas Casinos ... Prosecutors Say

Marcus Morris' latest legal woes stem from allegations he stole over $250,000 from two prominent Las Vegas casinos ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to court documents we obtained, the NBA player allegedly got $115,000 from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino via bad checks in May 2024 ... and never paid it back when the checks bounced.

Officials state around a month later, in June 2024, he performed a similar scam at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel and Casino ... netting $150,000 through checks he knew wouldn't cash.

An NFL employee suffered a gunshot wound in his back during the deadly shooting in New York City on Monday, according to a new report.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell previously revealed that one employee was seriously injured in the mass shooting that took place at 345 Park Avenue, the home of the league's headquarters.

The employee was identified as Craig Clementi, who works in the finance department ... and, according to The Athletic, he was hit by a bullet that may have ricocheted before striking him.

Marcus Morris Sr. just appeared in a Florida courtroom for the first time since his arrest over the weekend ... but things did not go the NBA star's way during the proceedings.

The 35-year-old has been in custody in Broward County since Sunday over allegations he stiffed a casino in Las Vegas ... and at a hearing regarding the matter on Tuesday, Morris' attorneys asked for bond so he could get a handle on the issue.

The lawyers told the judge that Morris was in the process of paying off his debts in Nevada -- and releasing him would help expedite that.

NYC Shooter High School Football Coach Says He Was 'Quiet, Hard Worker'

Shane Tamura -- the gunman behind Monday's deadly mass shooting in Manhattan -- was a "quiet, hard worker" during his high school football days, his former coach said following the tragedy.

Tamura, 27, was a former running back at Granada Hills Charter school in Southern California in the mid-2010s before he gunned down four people, including an NYPD officer, at 345 Park Avenue on Monday.

His former assistant coach, Walter Roby, told FOX 11 that he was a "quiet" kid and a "hard worker" who was easy to coach after transferring to Granada Hills from Golden Valley.

The shooter who targeted the NFL headquarters in New York and opened fire died by suicide by shooting himself in the chest ... an unusual move, and it appears he wanted his brain preserved to prove a point.

Investigators found a 3-page suicide note on 27-year-old Shane Tamura's body claiming he had CTE, our law enforcement sources say. CTE is a degenerative brain disease found in individuals with a history of repeated head impacts, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Police say the gunman wanted his brain studied and that's why he used the unusual means to end his life.
