Legendary rock singer Ozzy Osbourne has died ... TMZ has learned.

In a statement to TMZ, the Osbourne family says Ozzy died Tuesday "surrounded by love." The cause of death is unclear.

The Osbournes say ... "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning."

Ozzy's family continues ... "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

The statement was signed by Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.

7/23 -- 9:06 AM PT -- Geffen's attorney Patty Glaser tells TMZ ... "There was no contract— express, written, oral, or implied— that has ever existed. We will be vigorously and righteously defending against this false, pathetic lawsuit."

David Geffen's divorce is getting nasty ... because his estranged husband is suing him for breach of contract and airing a bunch of alleged dirty laundry.

Geffen's ex, David Andrew Armstrong (AKA Donovan Michaels) beelined it to court Tuesday and filed an explosive lawsuit against the entertainment mogul ... claiming the 82-year-old billionaire was "masquerading as a white knight while hiding behind wealth, philanthropy and fame."

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Armstrong claims they first met on the website Seekingarrangements.com ... he says Geffen paid him $10,000 for sex on the first night, then began treating him as "a living social experiment."

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are taking their co-parenting venture international ... because they're down in Costa Rica together with their baby girl.

The rapper and the actress were photographed at an airport in Liberia waiting at the baggage carousel after a commercial flight to the Central American nation.

MGK and Megan are both wearing hooded sweatshirts ... his is black and hers is grey ... and she's holding their child in her arms. Gotta travel comfortably, especially when kids are involved in an international trip.

There's no question that Ozzy Osbourne left a lasting legacy on the rock world, and tributes are pouring in from his fellow musicians following the news of his death Tuesday.

Black Sabbath swiftly shared a recent performance pic of the rocker smiling on stage ...  remembering him by simply writing "Ozzy Forever." As you know, he became a founding member of the heavy metal band in 1967 but was canned in 1979 due to his substance abuse issues ... though later returned to perform with the band off and on for several years beginning in 1997.

Travis Barker and YUNGBLUD -- who performed at Ozzy's final Black Sabbath show on July 5 -- posted for him as well.

Fantastic news from Ben Askren -- the former UFC star is finally leaving the hospital and heading home ... and shared the update with a deeply emotional video for his supporters.

"What's up, guys?? Day 59, I'm out," Funky said alongside his wife, Amy, minutes ago ... adding a bit of humor to lighten the mood, despite what he's gone through the past two months.

"That was a long journey, and it's not over because I still can't really walk, gotta reteach myself to do that among many other things."

12:49 PM PT -- Erik Menendez is undergoing treatment for kidney stones ... TMZ has confirmed.

Erik Menendez is battling a health issue that is so serious his lawyer is asking California Governor Gavin Newsom to release him immediately, ahead of next month's parole hearing.

Attorney Mark Geragos was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and told Harvey Erik's medical condition is "serious" ... serious enough to warrant immediate action by the Governor.

Geragos said Erik is getting treatment in prison, but -- although Geragos wouldn't say -- it seems treatment by specialists outside the prison would be appropriate and possibly essential.

Ozzy Osbourne showed a ton of emotion in his final concert with Black Sabbath ... opening up onstage about how hard the past few years had been on him.

Ozzy came out onstage in his signature all black look and sang heavy metal from a bat throne. He told the hometown crowd it took a lot of people's hard work to make the concert happen ... shouting out his wife Sharon, and Tom Morello.

Rachel cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. She's also requesting the court to restore her former name.

Prince William and Prince Harry's 20-year-old cousin Rosie Roche died from a traumatic head injury.

Roche was found dead in her home in England last week and her cause of death was reported Tuesday by multiple British news outlets, citing the Wiltshire and Swindon coroner.
