Singer Connie Francis, best known for her recently viral track "Pretty Little Baby" as well as "Stupid Cupid," has died.

Connie's death was confirmed by her longtime friend Ron Roberts on Thursday via Facebook -- just 2 weeks after TMZ broke the news she was in the ICU for unknown medical issues.

Ron announced Connie passed Wednesday, adding ... "I know that Connie would approve that her fans are among the first to learn of this sad news."

Diddy's controversial verdict may have cost the lead prosecutor in the case her job ... 'cause a new report indicates Maurene Comey has been fired ... TMZ has confirmed.

Law enforcement sources tell us the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey was let go from her job as a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday.

The spokesperson tells us the plate check revealed Deondre has an active warrant out of Hamilton County, Ohio, so the police busted him.
