Orlando Bloom's got Buddha on his brain following his split from Katy Perry ... taking to Instagram to post a cryptic quote about new beginnings from the spiritual teacher.

Check out the actor's Monday post --  he seems to be doing some serious reflecting by sharing Buddha's saying ... "Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most."

But he didn't stop there -- Orlando took to his story to share a message from Japanese author Daisaku Ikeda that reads ... "The important thing is to take that first step ... Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next."

Dick Vitale is taking WNBA players to task for snubbing Caitlin Clark on their All-Star Game ballots ... ripping their voting as nothing more than "PURE JEALOUSY."

It was revealed on Monday that Clark was named just the ninth-best guard when it came to the players' ASG vote ... and it didn't take long for Dickie V to go off on the league for the results.

"Absolutely PURE JEALOUSY," he wrote on his X page. "Some day they will realize what she Has done for ALL of the players in the WNBA. Charted planes - increase in salaries-sold out crowds - improved TV Ratings."

6:30 AM PT -- The Trump-Musk battle waged on this morning ... Trump said on Fox News, he was looking into deporting Elon. In response, Elon said on X, he's tempted to escalate the situation, but will not right now.

Donald Trump is trading jabs with Elon Musk again ... this time threatening to turn his former department against him as the SpaceX founder continues to trash DT's Big Beautiful Bill.

In Trump's Truth Social rant Monday night -- he says he's fed up with Elon's criticism and clearly making a power play over the entire scenario, slamming his former right-hand-guy's push for electric vehicles and reminding him about all the government help he gets.

He notes ... "Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa."

Just chalk this one up to an awkward moment for Gillian Anderson during Paris Fashion Week.

The 'X-Files' star was seated between fellow A-list actors Matthew McConaughey and Emma Roberts, both of whom were deep in conversation while seemingly ignoring Gillian at Sunday's Jacquemus "La Paysan" show.

The family of Kaylee Goncalves is pissed over the plea deal offered to accused murderer Bryan Kohberger ... and they are taking shots at prosecutors.

The Goncalves family tells TMZ ... "The death penalty is merely an illusion in the criminal justice system. When available, it serves as a bargaining tool for the State, and when rarely applied, it’s never enforced due to a highly inefficient appellate process."

As we reported ... Kohberger will plead guilty to four counts of first-degree murder, but prosecutors will take the death penalty off the table and recommend life without the possibility of parole.

A sanctioned matchup between Adrian Peterson and his poker rival is getting closer and closer to becoming a reality ... as TMZ Sports has learned the NFL legend and his opponent have just received an offer to settle their differences in an actual ring.

Damon Feldman, the founder of Celebrity Boxing, tells TMZ Sports ... he wants to make a real scrap between Peterson and Joe "Baby Joe" Castaneda happen after he saw the two go at it over cards at social club in Houston, Texas in May.

The family of Xana Kernodle is livid over the plea deal offered to accused murderer Bryan Kohberger ... and they told prosecutors they had better not dare go through with it.

Kim Kernodle, Xana’s aunt -- who was so furious she was in tears -- tells TMZ ... prosecutors floated the idea of a plea deal a few days ago and the family made it clear ... NO WAY.

When we spoke with Kim, she was on a conference call with prosecutors. She says prosecutors told her the defense approached prosecutors with a plea deal, and the prosecution went along to "spare the families" the pain of a trial. Kim says that's ridiculous, because at least 2 of the families -- hers and the Goncalves family -- wanted Kohberger to face a jury.

Wess Roley -- the man accused of setting a brush fire and launching a sniper-style ambush on firefighters in Idaho this weekend -- once had dreams of becoming a firefighter himself, according to investigators.

Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris revealed the 20-year-old's ambitions at the Monday press conference -- but says it's unclear if that had anything to do with Sunday's deadly incident.

Officials also revealed Roley died from what appears to be a self-inflicted shotgun wound. So far, no manifesto, no confirmed suicide note ... and no clear motive.

Bryan Kohberger may never face a jury for allegedly slaughtering 4 University of Idaho students ... he has just struck a plea deal to save his own life, and the family of one of the victims is furious.

Kohberger was charged with 4 counts of first-degree murder, and prosecutors were seeking the death penalty. Kohberger pled not guilty.

According to the deal, Kohberger will plead guilty, but prosecutors will no longer seek the death penalty. Instead, they will recommend life without the possibility of parole.
