Elon Musk says his time working with President Trump as a special government employee is coming to an end.

The world's richest man announced his impending departure from the Trump administration Wednesday with a post on his social media platform, X.

Elon says ... "As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending."

4:31 PM PT -- Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Todd Chrisley and his daughter, Savannah are already on their way home to Nashville.

Todd Chrisley is officially out of federal prison ... TMZ has learned.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons tells TMZ ... Todd was released from Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on Wednesday evening.

His daughter Savannah gave a press conference hours before he was freed. Todd was convicted on bank fraud and tax evasion charges in 2022. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and his wife Julie received a 7-year sentence -- but, they both served just two years before the pardon.

The actress beelined it to court Wednesday and filed to divorce Dominique Crenn after one year of marriage.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Maria lists the date of separation as April 7 ... exactly one year from when she says they got hitched.

Federal prosecutors just released shocking new photos they say show the aftermath of the Molotov cocktail incident with Kid Cudi's Porsche -- an incident Cudi thinks Diddy was involved in -- and now we're seeing some of what jurors were shown in court.

Prosecutors just entered photos of Kid Cudi's car fire aftermath as exhibits in the case ... and they appear to show what Kid Cudi and LAFD arson investigator Lance Jimenez testified about in terms of fire damage from a Molotov cocktail.

Jimenez testified Wednesday an Olde English 800 malt liquor bottle was used in the incident and that when he arrived at the scene, he saw the bottle in the front seat ... and that appears to be what the photos show.
