It's the biggest weekend for Hollywood ... and the stars were out in full force Friday night to kick off the Oscars celebrations before the big show on Sunday.

The were multiple big bashes around town ... including the CAA pre-Oscar party at the Living Room in Los Angeles and the YSL party, which was held at an undisclosed private residence.

Stars dropping by the CAA blowout were the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kerry Washington, Eiza Gonzalez, Paris Jackson, Seth Rogen, Sebastian Stan, Chris Pine, Kevin Bacon, Khyra Sedgwick, Jesse Willaims, Anna Kendrick, Gayle King, Jon Hamm, Zoey Deutch, Joe Alwyn, Josh Gadd ... and new couple Channing Tatum and Inka Williams.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seems to have done some breathing exercises and cooled off after a heated exchange with President Trump in the Oval Office on Friday -- a headline-making moment around the globe.

In a lengthy message posted to social media on Saturday morning ... Zelensky acknowledged that lasting peace in Eastern Europe would be “difficult” without U.S. support ... and he gave props for America's help during Russia’s three-year invasion of his country.

The message had a vastly different feel and tone from the blowup the two world leaders had in the White House ... which was live around the globe.

Channing Tatum and Inka Williams turned heads last night when they rolled into the CAA pre-Oscar party with some light PDA ... which sure seemed to make the budding relationship official.

The pair showed up arm in arm at the Living Room in Los Angeles ... creating plenty of buzz among fans on social media.

Until this moment ... it was just rumored Channing and Inka were an item ... which all started to swirl in January when he was spotted with Inka in Santa Monica.

Seems Elon Musk is truly going to colonize Mars ... even if he has to do it himself, 'cause the tech mogul just welcomed his 14 child!

Elon helped break the news Friday along with Shivon Zilis, with whom the billionaire already had three children.

A FedEx cargo plane was forced to make an emergency landing Saturday morning when part of the aircraft burst into flames mid-flight ... and it was captured on dramatic video!

A spokeman for FedEx tells TMZ ... Flight 3609 from Newark to Indianapolis at 8:07 AM local experienced a bird strike during takeoff.

"Our crew declared an emergency and returned safely to Newark. We are thankful for the quick actions of our crew and first responders," the spokesperson tells us.

Mark Zuckerberg's wife Priscilla Chan celebrated the big 4-0 with a huge bash -- but it was the META CEO who stole the show with his stunning onstage performance.

Colin Stough, the 20-year-old "American Idol" fan-favorite, has been arrested for alleged drunk driving in Tennessee after a car crash, TMZ has learned.

Authorities tell us ... Colin was taken into custody early Friday after highway patrol responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-840 East near the 37-mile marker in Williamson County, which is just outside of Nashville.

Colin was arrested and charged with DUI, underage consumption of alcohol, and failure to exercise due care, TMZ is told. It was not clear if he suffered any injuries in the crash, but he was taken to the hospital and cleared before he was booked. He has since bailed out.
