Pat Boone says Walt Disney would be appalled by the state of Disney today ... claiming the company's sold out its ideals to make a quick buck -- and, the company ain't for families anymore.

We caught up with the legendary singer and actor at LAX Tuesday ... and, he tells us that the founder of Disneyland "must be spinning in his grave" because Boone says the company's trying to shed its identity as a family filmmaker.

Boone says the company just wants to make money ... which is absolutely not what Disney envisioned when he founded the company.

LaVar Ball -- the father of basketball stars Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball -- had his foot amputated after suffering a serious medical issue, TMZ Sports has learned.

We're told the Ball family patriarch underwent a recent procedure to have his right foot removed ... but despite it all, he is in great spirits and doing well.

Chauncy Glover -- a local Los Angeles news anchor -- died from acute intoxication by a pair of drugs including methamphetamine ... TMZ has learned.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner released a statement Wednesday determining Glover died from "acute intoxication by the combined effects of chloroethane and methamphetamine."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, chloroethane is a colorless, flammable gas used to numb the skin before piercings and to treat sports injuries. It's unclear how Glover came into contact with it.

The death has been ruled an accident, but the full medical examiner's report won't be ready until the end of next month, the press release states.

Singer Dave Matthews' mother has died ... TMZ has learned.

Valerie Matthews died February 9 in her Charlottesville, Virginia home. We're told Dave, his brother and his sister were by her bedside when she died.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Valerie’s health took a sudden decline at the beginning of February due to natural causes, and she went into hospice. Our sources say this was the reason Dave had to drop out of performing at the FireAid concert in the eleventh hour last month.

Hurricane -- a Special Operations Canine and the most decorated dog in U.S. history -- has died, according to a statement posted to the official White House account.

According to the post -- which calls Hurricane a "true American hero" -- Hurricane bravely defended the White House for years ... before he unfortunately had to be put down this week.
