The baseball world learned Will Klein's name following his massive pitching performance for the Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series on Monday ... but there's at least one guy who wasn't surprised one bit -- his college coach!!

We chopped it up with Jason Anderson -- the manager of the Eastern Illinois Panthers -- after his former player helped lift L.A. to a 2-1 lead over Toronto.

Anderson, who the New York Yankees selected in the 2000 MLB Draft, said he initially fell asleep during the 12th inning ... but was jolted awake by his son when he noticed Klein on the mound.

Freddie Freeman's aunt was with the rest of the family at Dodgers Stadium last night for that epic victory ... but she nearly missed her nephew's heroics!

Carol Freeman -- who was also a fan-favorite on this season of "The Golden Bachelor" -- tells TMZ ... She damn-near missed Freddie’s epic walk-off home run in the 18th inning … ‘cause she was hunting for ice cream at concessions.

She had to book it back to her seat ... but Carol tells us she made it in time to say a little prayer Freddie wouldn't be the final out after the huge battle between the Dodgers and Blue Jays that went until midnight.

We're thinking Kai Trump has to be seriously excited right about now ... because she's set to make her LPGA Tour debut in November.

The granddaughter of President Donald Trump received a sponsor exemption to play in The Annika at Pelican Golf Club, which is set to take place next month, according to ESPN.

Kai issued a statement regarding her participation in the event, and she stated she was excited to meet and play against "so many of my heroes and mentors."

Minnesota Vikings player Isaiah Rodgers' Halloween costume was ass -- literally -- 'cause the defensive star rocked a BBL costume this year ... and the decision earned him a trophy!!

The team's Halloween bash went down this week ... with players, including Rodgers and Will Fries, taking a party bus to the event.

While many went with classic cartoon characters or movie costumes ... Rodgers and his fiancée, Genie, decided to take things to the next level.

Somber news from the professional wrestling world ... WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda is in hospice, according to his brother-in-law, fellow legend Barry Windham.

"It's kind of tough right now," Windham said, responding to a question about 67-year-old Rotunda's late son, Bray Wyatt, from journalist Bill Apter. "Mike is in hospice right now."

Barry added ... "I love that family. It’s so tragic.”

Windham's sister Stephanie married Rotunda in 1984 ... and Barry says he immediately hit it off with his future in-law.

“I mean, just like we were old friends when we first met,” Windham said, "like old pals forever.”

Mike, best known for his character, Irwin R. Schyster (IRS), as well as Michael Wallstreet, spent decades as a pro wrestler, including two stints with WWE (then-WWF), where he was a 5-time Tag Team champion (two with Barry and The U.S. Express, and three with Ted DiBiase and Money Inc.).

Rotunda also wrestled for WCW, NJPW, and NWA, among other promotions.

Mike was inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame in 2024.

In addition to Rotunda's exploits in the squared circle, he's famously the father of Bo Dallas and the late-Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away after suffering a heart attack in August 2023.

Further details about Rotunda's condition aren't known ... but Barry is asking fans to keep the family in their prayers.

12:08 PM PT -- According to court documents TMZ Sports has obtained, Ryan Kesler is accused of engaging in "sexual contact with a 16-year-old child" on January 1.

The docs state the alleged victim was "physically helpless" during the incident.

Former NHL center Ryan Kesler has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal sexual conduct ... but the former first-round draft pick is adamantly denying any wrongdoing.

Kesler entered a not guilty plea to the two counts on Monday ... after the charges were officially filed against him on October 23 in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Not much is known about the alleged wrongdoing ... other than it was reported to cops on January 2.

According to an Orchard Lake Police Department press release, bond for Kesler was set at $50,000 ... which he later posted.

Police in Sugar Land, Texas say Adrian Peterson fessed up to throwing back shots of a vodka mix at a poker game early Sunday morning ... just hours before he was arrested for DWI.

The officer who took Peterson into custody over the weekend wrote in court documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, that the former NFL running back made the admission while the two were at a Sugar Land gas station at around 9:23 AM.

The officer alleged in the docs he encountered Peterson asleep at the wheel of a running black Mercedes SUV that was next to some pumps ... and he claimed once he woke up the unconscious ex-Minnesota Vikings star, he reeked of booze and had blood shot, glossy eyes as well as a slurred speech.

Justin Bieber's ticked off, and probably exhausted, after that epic Game 3 of the World Series ... and the native Canadian unloaded his frustration on homerun slugging Shohei Ohtani.

Check out the video ... the Grammy winner gave a thumbs down at LA.'s Dodger Stadium as Ohtani rounded the bases after one of his 2 homers. The Dodgers are, of course, playing against Bieber's beloved Toronto Blue Jays in a duel for the ages.

The "Sorry" singer bravely repped his team while rocking a #57 jersey with his name on the back. The name is just a coincidence, though, as #57 actually belongs to Jays pitcher Shane Bieber -- no relation.

Game 3 of the World Series clocked in at a whopping six hours and 39 minutes ... and Dodgers and Blue Jays players were doing everything to stay locked in -- including some late-night eats!

Cameras caught both teams being delivered a fruit platter as the game wore on late into the night, and after playing 18 innings of baseball, anything would have hit the spot.

While it's unclear where the fruit came from -- a vendor outside, restaurant supplies from the stadium -- the options were vast ... from watermelon to pineapple ... and even grapes!

Travis Kelce appeared to pay homage to his fiancée following a big touchdown on Monday night ... with Taylor Swift fans convinced he hit her 'Fate Of Ophelia' dance.

GloRilla and Brandon Ingram are making a case for the NBA's new favorite power couple ... 'cause fans went wild when the Raptors star landed a kiss on his rapper girlfriend right at her courtside seats!!

Folks got two World Series games in one as the Dodgers needed 18 innings to beat the Blue Jays ... but Jerry O'Connell wasn't gonna miss a single moment of action -- even though he REALLY had to take a dump.

The actor documented his entire Monday night at the ballpark on his social media page ... initially smiling from ear-to-ear as he made his way to Game 3 of the Fall Classic.

JOC was all-in on the experience ... even playfully jawing at visiting Jays fans in the crowd early in the contest.

The Dodgers are back in Los Angeles for the World Series ... and naturally, plenty of stars showed up Monday night to cheer them on.

Game 3 brought a stacked lineup of famous faces -- including Jason Bateman, Jacob Elordi, Rob Lowe, Brad Paisley, and Jeff Goldblum.
