Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj is the latest high-profile target of a "swatting" call this week ... as law enforcement personnel swarmed her L.A.-area property Wednesday night responding to a report of a shooting at her house.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... shortly after 7 PM yesterday, the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. received a call reporting an assault at a residence in Hidden Hills, where Nicki lives.

Deputies rushed to the scene ... where they found no one at home, and no issues in the area.

Travis Scott got some R&R before his highly anticipated Coachella set by catching the L.A. Clippers game on Wednesday -- and unlike past experiences, he had no issues with security this time.

Celebrities flocked to the Intuit Dome in Inglewood for the Clippers' home contest against the Houston Rockets ... including names like Floyd Mayweather, Draya Michele, Steve Ballmer and La Flame himself.

The G-Unit rapper was booked into jail Monday afternoon in Sumner County for 30 days, as seen in online records.

Eric Mauldin, Assistant District Attorney for Sumner County, TN, tells TMZ ... Young Buck was supposed to meet twice a month with his supervisor while on bond supervision, with GPS monitoring, for two cases -- a drug case and a domestic violence case.

Kanye West is keeping the shock train rolling -- he's just reignited his beef with Taylor Swift, claiming she’s one of the key reasons he hasn’t ever performed at the Super Bowl.

Hip Hop music industry legend Kevin Liles is preparing to try and dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit against him.

Kevin filed new legal docs Tuesday asking for permission to file a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed earlier this year by a woman who claimed he raped her way back in 2002 while he was an executive at Def Jam Recordings.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Kevin claims he will argue to dismiss the case on the grounds that the woman waited too long to file her claims and the statute of limitations on her claims has run.

Rapper Boosie Badazz says he was "banged up" in a serious car collision in the Atlanta area on Monday.

Video taken by a passerby shows the aftermath -- a lime green and black BMW the rapper was riding in is stopped at an intersection on the South Fulton Parkway in Union City, GA. Victims appear to be in agonizing pain, lying on the ground waiting to be helped by emergency responders. (The tweet incorrectly says it happened in Memphis.)

The BMW appears to have been hit head-on, as the video shows debris strewn across the pavement near the front of it. The video also shows the airbags deployed.

Tony Buzbee is taking legal steps to try to dismiss a Jay-Z lawsuit against him, claiming they struck a deal and Jay reneged -- but Jay's camp says Buzbee is full of it.

Buzbee, the Texas lawyer famous for representing 120 alleged Diddy victims, filed new legal docs Monday to dismiss the defamation lawsuit Jay-Z filed against him in Alabama.

Tony was representing the Jane Doe who claimed Jay-Z and Diddy raped her in New York back in 2000. She ultimately dropped the rape lawsuit ... and Jay-Z then sued her and Buzbee in Alabama, where she lives, over bringing the case in the first place.

Rapper Slim Thug's apartment in Houston has been burglarized ... with thieves swiping jewelry, cash and more, TMZ has learned.

A spokesperson for the Houston Police Department tells TMZ ... Monday around 11 PM, security at an apartment complex discovered the break-in.

Cops say security spotted a door that had been forced open, and multiple items from inside the apartment were taken -- including jewelry, cash and other valuables.

Emotions ran high as a funeral for rapper Young Scooter was held today -- just over a week after his tragic death on his 39th birthday.

The funeral went down Monday at Atlanta’s Saint Philip AME Church ... with photos and clips showing Scooter’s casket carried out by heartbroken loved ones -- all while other family and friends looked visibly shaken, saying their final goodbyes. He'll be buried in his hometown of Walterboro, South Carolina.

Monday's service was marked as a celebration of his life -- white doves were released into the sky after the ceremony, symbolizing peace, hope, and freedom.

Cassie plans on testifying during Diddy's upcoming trial -- and it won't be anonymous, TMZ has confirmed.

"Victim 1" is "prepared to testify under her own name" during the upcoming trial, where Diddy will defend himself against charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Cassie is the person known as "Victim 1." There are three other alleged victims who have requested their identities remain secret during the trial. Prosecutors say using pseudonyms instead of real names will prevent harassment and other adverse consequences for the alleged victims.

The K-pop group Kiss of Life is apologizing for all the distress a recent video they posted caused ... claiming they weren't trying to be racist while dancing to 50 Cent's "In da Club."

The band -- which boasts nearly 300K fans on X -- shared a handwritten apology Saturday admitting they erred by posting the recent birthday clip.

ICYMI ... the four bandmembers shared a clip where they danced to the hit 2003 track -- while wearing their hats askew and big gold chains around their necks, basically parodying clothing some rappers might wear.

Billy McFarland and the Fyre Festival 2 team are sticking by the location for the event ... claiming they've been working closely with Playa Del Carmen to ensure the festival happens -- despite the government's claims to the contrary.

Here's the deal ... earlier this week, officials for Playa Del Carmen -- a small town just south of Cancún in Mexico -- wrote a message in Spanish, part of which translates to "There is no existence of a registry nor plans that would indicate such an event taking place in this municipality."

They also add, "... No such event with that name will take place in our city" -- indicating they haven't even heard of the event before.
